Game : Golden eye. Mission called surface. It was 1997 and I learned how to adjust the brightness because it was the same situation with a pitch black map. I was 10 yrs old. You just jogged my memory.

While I somewhat understand the “well everyone is doing” arguments from a fun perspective (if you don’t do it, you have less fun b/c getting killed by those that do sucks), i still don’t agree holistically because what is the point of a day night cycle then? All that night-gear is vendor-trash at that point basically. I think Tarkov should find a way to prevent this kind of avoidance, and instead improve accessibility or rewards WRT to night fighting.
absolutely! BSG need to address it, but until they do im just gonna continue to do what works best for me 🤷♂️

Nighttime raids have different ai interactions and different ai spawns. Other than that there’s no real point to nighttime raids other than other players being afraid of them
i think this wipe the goons are much easier to fight
how fast they react to seeing your character model is toned down a bunch and so its made the 2 times i encountered them i won once night time woods and i came up the back back to scav bunker was not a easy fight but pulled it off and then once on shoreline i was at the metal container near sniper scav at the water facility on shoreline and that was a sketchy fight

they have the ability to restrict specific API hookins which nvidia runs off of. so its a choice by the devs@@acolytetojippity
They should add retina focus as a stat so that you can play nighttime and daytime without having to change nvidia settings. I love the way the default game looks but I’m forced to play with ps2 colors because it’s impossible to see

Idk for me the Goons are not the hardest Boss. I fighted them 12 Times last Week and its quite simple on Customs. U need Cover best is in Knox and then Nade in their direction. They will Push u so u just need a Gun with good ammo and its so ez. Btw i use mostly Ash-12 with PS12B for one Tap in the Head.

this topic about chang8ing settings to see in the dark theres 2 sides to this story on one hand i agree that changing the settings is a no brainer. it makes sense you have the option but i think bsg built the game in a way to make it hard for us to see because in real life you cant chan ge your eyes and see in the dark unless you pay money to do some research to figure out how to make night vision or thermal vision and this is a technology maybe in the future we will have ewyes that just change to whatever situation were in sure but right jnow no. and so i think bsg should make it not allow3ed to change these settings to play the game if thats wehat they want us to have to deal with but until then i think its perfectly fine its still with in the peramiters of poersonal skill to win them fights but your right some of us dont have them settingds changed so its much worse for them guys

It’s a case of if you’re farming for them you’ll probably die less… but if you’re running around and not grenade checking you’ll probably die.

The game already provides you night vision goggles and flashlights. It also doesn't have any configuration to tune your monitor this way inside the game. Don't you think that they probably don't want you to do that?
So, of course tunning your monitor to see better at night time is cheating.
Ok I have to say this but although changing your monitor settings is not cheating as it’s officially allowed I do think that it very clearly goes against the spirit of the game.
night raids should be horror experiences, and investing in night vision equipment should relieve that. Sorry but it’s kinda bs that someone can see this much at night with 0 investments while I buy 200k night vision and still don’t see as much as clearly as him. So clearly this is not intended to work this way by the devs…
I’m not saying it’s cheating because obviously it’s allowed, but I am saying it should not be possible

imo, being able to change visual settings to gain an ungodly massive advantage over people playing the game normally is cheating. like how in world of tanks you can go to minimum settings and straight up see through bushes, they need to program a hard cap of the settings to force everyone onto the same and equal playing field.
The whole yap session about "its not cheating" felt like something a cheater would say
Except it is not cheating, you can't ban someone for making the game bright, you can do the same on your monitor configuration (without nvidia panel)
If you are not changing monitor settings you are disadvantaging yourself.

7:36 seriously, if bsg didn't make so much of the game so messy to work against (like fog, lighting, audio), tarkov would be unbelievably better and you wouldn't have to change monitor or audio settings just to be able to play the game sensibly. Dumbest thing ive ever come across... yeah why should my game be DARK at NIGHT... and absuing the extreems of monitor setttings or post fx to meta some bullshit advantage should simply be bannable or at the very least remove all of that completley casue its garbage that u can make your NIGHT raid appear clear as day ! sorry but if ur argument is its straining your eyes cause the night is dark and u cant see shit, then mate u might wanna swap professions... damn i normaly love your vids but that bullshit just triggered me out of my mind i guess

imo if you are using software from outside the game to give yourself an advantage, that is about as close to the definition of cheating you can get. especially since there are tools in the game that address the visibility issue(NVs and flashlights), or you could choose to not play night time raids. On the other hand, you aren't using aimbots/wallhacks etc. and this trick is relatively harmless so you do you.

It’s not a software that interacts with the game it’s changing your monitor settings. That’s like saying changing dpi in gforce or keybinds with icue is cheating
