YellowBird, I have a woman who is in recovery because of booze. She lives with her sister and adult children who abuse her. Her sister pulls her hair, grabs her by her face and pushes her in her chest. She is so beat down and will repeat the same things over and over again as a defense mechanism. People in this town say bad things about her and everybody treats her like she is hopeless and she believes she is hopeless. Her name is Linda. I think she is being deprived of food and if she leaves the house, her sister locks her out of the house. God has placed Linda in my life, I believe to stand in the gap and help her and to pray for her. There was a time when everyone gave up on me, myself included but I prayed to God, in Jesus Christ name, that He wouldn't give up on me when the whole world gave up on me and me too. God never gave up on me and I am so thankful that YHWH gave me that little mustard seed of faith and hope in His Son, Jesus Christ. I can look people in the eyes now and I feel like I am beautiful in the eyes of God now and no longer dirty and shame filled. If God could help me He can help anyone. Thank you.
