  • Learned to bake due to covid. Tested several recipes and came up with my own, we never buy bread from the store since.
    This video is for my family, friends and kababayans missing the baked goods at the local panaderia. Hope you'll like this recipe and enjoy baking our favorite bread, pandesal.

    I tried this recipe yesterday and it turned out perfectly. So tasty and delicious. But I couldn't get the bread crumbs to stick to the dough. So I think next time I might spray the bread with butter spray or egg wash and then put the crumbs on before baking. Such delicious bread. Thank you so much for sharing this.

      Thanks so much for trying my recipe and so happy that you find my video helpful. I love this recipe and my family and friends love pandesal so I keep on baking for them. The best way to keep the breadcrumbs on the rolls, make sure you stop the dough cycle about 20 minutes before it ends. This will make the dough softer and sticky (harder to handle but put more butter or margarine on your hands, table or mat for easier handling). Hopefully this helps 😊 Have a great day and happy baking 😍

    Hi. Your recipe looks good. I’m just wondering. Why stop the bread machine before it ends 30 minutes before?

    • @roadto5059
      @roadto5059  9 днів тому

      So it will not overflow. It will rise too much then dough will be dry hence a harder pandesal. I tried to leave it for the 120 minutes then the bread becomes hard. Thanks for your question and hope you try and like the bread.😍

    What did you add when the bread machine was at 1:27? After you add the egg & salt & before closing.

      Hi. Nothing else. Just the eggs and salt. BTW let me know if you have any other questions. I have been making this recipe and always making nice and soft pandesal. Thanks for stopping by. 😊

      Hi there. I used Saf instant yeast on this recipe. I tried the bread machine yeast before and it worked well too. I've been using this recipe and the pandesal every time were soft even after 5 days in an air tight container. Thanks for watching and let me know if you have any other questions. I will be posting my special ensaymada bread machine recipe soon so please subscribe and watch out for it😊

    Why mix APF with bread flour?

    • @roadto5059
      @roadto5059  2 дні тому

      Thanks for that question. You could do plain afp or plain bread flour, however from my experience, this combination works for me. The bread flour makes it chewy in texture and afp makes it lighter and softer. Hope you enjoy baking pandesal 😊.
