Just made it today. Mine isn’t a perfect bun, but it was still delicious. Can’t wait to eat it for breakfast tomorrow morning (BTW, I used all-purpose flour because it’s the only flour that we have, and I used washed sugar because it’s what we use for coffee. Still turned out fluffy and delicious)

Hello Chef RV. I tried your pandesal recipe yesterday. Although the dough did not rise as much due to the weather condition here in Virginia but it’s tasty and still soft after 2 days. Thank you for sharing your recipe. I love watching you. You always make me laugh with your hugot lines. 🥰
With all due restpect to Chef RV: Try using lukewarm water (100 F). or try to bloom your yeast before adding to make sure your yeast is still good. (1/2 lukewarm water, 1 tsp sugar, then yeast. let it rest for 10 minutes. I put it inside the microwave but not turn it on, of course)

Chef, panu po kapag maliit lng ang oven ko at need ko mag dalawa o tatlong salang. Panu po ung naiwang dough? Panu po titigil ang pag rise para d ma over ferment
If you need to make it 3 salang, get the first portion for your first salang while the rest of the dough is in the fridge. Shape and proof.
