On our end it's sounds like it needs some grease. Reels in general no matter brand when sitting in boxes and being shipped greased and oils tend to dry up some. Id definitely open up the side panel and check it out. Touch it up if it needs it. How are the other reels holding up so far ?

Honestly, the reels have been great and I’ve been wading and beach fishing with them to expose them to all the salt lol. I really like them and that’s saying a lot since I’m coming from using high end Shimanos
