The laptop goes in the very last compartment (by the straps) where it's padded and has a bungee floor, to keep your laptop from ever touching the ground. Your laptop is never meant to go in the middle of the bag. Also the bag is extra tall so you can fit a full size gaming keyboard in it.

The heavier the laptop, the more you will strain your back and overcompensate for the pressure, thus making that area between your back and the laptop space in the backpack compress more..
I'm worried that my Legion 5 will bend or break a bit if I put it in a backpack..
Unless you completely stuff your backpack with more stuff than you should, you will not have any issues like that. Even if you did stuff it with a lot of items, I believe it is very difficult for you to manage breaking your laptop unless you fall back on top of it or something like that.

Came here to see how well padded the laptop compartment is (the back one) but you disregarded it has somewhere to keep books or something :D then put your laptop in the unprotected middle part.
Is it padded at the bottom, also how thick is the padding?

It depends on what store / market you buy it from. There were some retailers offering it with the laptop and some others weren’t. You need ti check on what retailers ship it with the backpack if any.

I used a Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro i7 a few months back. I have been using an IPad Pro and lately the Legion Y540.

Tom... I have tried briefcase type bags for my laptops in the past but I always end up using backpacks. For me they are away more practical. And they will look good even if you work or study in a higher end environment and you want to keep a professional look. Samsonite has really nice backpacks but a bit more pricy. You just have to pick the one most suitable for you. If you do decide to get a sleeve case or briefcase, make sure you get something with a practical handle and shoulder strap that won’t look corny!

Is it fully waterproof
It is not fully water proof. You can get hit by some rain and it will resist up to a certain point but if it’s raining heavily, after a while it will eventually start to seep in. Just don’t go scuba diving with it ;) hehe

No. It fits perfectly. And in terms of height you are left with about 12 cm of free space.

But you should always try it out in a local store if possible. My idea of good padding might not be the same as yours. For me it is very ok. 👍

Sim. Mas esse da Worten não tem os mesmos specs do meu. O meu tem 16Gb RAM com Grafica 1660ti e monitor 144hz. Eu quis escolher um modelo mais artilhado, logo sem direito ao pack promocional
Penso que esse modelo é 60hz 8Gb RAM e 1650. Mas corrige-me se eu estiver errado. Ah e o meu também tem 1 disco extra de 1Tb.

Which legion model has metal body
There are a few, including Some Yoga models. But in this range of models, I can mention the Y730, Y740, Y545... I however do not like the design of the y545.

You’r an architect? I actually would have loved to study architecture! Definitely a profession I would have loved to study! Either one of the ones I mentioned should be pretty good for architectural programs. You need a dedicated (and powerful graphics card), a fast processor and the most memory you can afford.
Is it waterproof tho?
It resists rain to a certain extent but it’s not waterproof.

Could I put my legion and oculus quest
Yes I believe you can since the Quest is compatible with all GTX 16 series GPU’s. Minimum requirement is Intel i5-4590 / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or higher and a minimum of 8Gb of RAM. I don’t have any to actually test it, but based on the info I have, OCULUS LINK should work fine.

Uhm the separate padded back compartment is obviously where you put your laptop...not sure why you would assume it's for books when it's a laptop backpack...You should probably learn about the products you plan on reviewing beforehand so you can properly assess the product and inform your viewers.
Yeah It was a really dumb mistake on my side. But that was actually one of the first videos I put out. I guess the nervousness got the best of me because it is very obvious what that compartment is for. It’s not my first laptop backpack. But I do think the viewers can easily see what it is for since it’s padded.
