What a lovely memory of your trip! Something to truly treasure! We are off to Stratford Upon Avon this weekend and I have made a travel junk journal to take with so my daughter can help me fill it. I then plan to add to it when we have days out over the summer!

Ooooh I would love to see it, I know it does happen elsewhere and the temperature doesn't drop at all or anything but over here it's extremely rare to not get a full on storm so just interesting for me xx

I am glad you are back, I hope you get to feeling better soon and I love your journal. It is nice to see the bookmark, post cards, receipts, brochures and maps included. Very nice. Here in the states we call it heat lightning. It mostly happeneds in the hot summer nights. Some looks like a web. Love the glass pen.

Fabulous. We get that kind of 'dry' lightning on the island too. Well, over the North Sea that is. It's really weird. No thunder, no rain, just lightning to the north. It happens quite often. I've never seen it on the main land.
Also I am so jealous of the beautiful glass pens. I so want one of those. They are gorgeous!

Thank you =) hmmm it's difficult to say, it certainly meant I could happily feel like my journal was 'complete' while away - the lack of pictures might have prevented that but I mine is a dodgy one that can only be used when plugged into the mains (so needed to spend more money of a plug-socket converter) and it crashes after every print. I'm not sure if that's a general problem with them or if it's mine alone...but either way it made my trip better and I'm glad I have it.
Hiya thank you =) the pics are the same as how they came out of the Pogo printer -I think they're either 2x3" or 2.5x3.5" and they have adhesive backing so super easy and perfect lil size for traveling handbag journals =)
yeah would definitely recommend doing it - feel like it completes the trip somehow lol =) x

Excellent idea to use the cropadile and another page as a template. Then you only need to figure out the first page. Clever of you, as usual. ;)

Thank you =) no, I've been looking for a mini one everywhere, couldn't get hold of one, I just kept my p/cards etc that didn't have holes in the right order within the journal and punched them when I got home.

thank you =) yes I had some watercolour paper in there, not all though - if you want to see the paper I used and the 'before' journal please look at the vid listed in the description. The book rings you should be able to get from any scrapbooking/craft store. Online shops do them too and in variety of sizes.
Thanks dear =) Yes was not happy when I did that - but on the plus side it was not as beautiful as that pen. Like everything everywhere they have expensive ones and more knock-off versions and I dropped a knock-off one at 8euro and still have one at 30euro - so could have been worse. No no punch - just a cropadile, I just always use another page as a template for the next x

Hmmm I've thought about this before but the only thing I have come up with is using the plastic hook's for tabs - as in you put two together and they turn into a love heart (the swan-neck effect I guess) lol but as for anything more adventures I'm stumped - will need ask a sculptor I think for more hardcore ideas, ways to melt the plastic etc x

thanks OldGothGranny, yes it prints straight from the camera - I didn't think you could do it from the laptop as it says it doesn't in the instructions and haven't had time to test it yet. Interesting to know though =) x

I've no idea hun, may be though I've never seen them online before. You could give it a try, think the clay might be too soft a material though in comparison to glass but worth a go I guess =)

Haha yes may be I should have brought more to send to people....hmmm but then by their very nature every one is unique so I'd probably have difficulty choosing which to send and end up keeping them all so possibly a good good I didn't lol I spent hours as it was just picking one - several would have been a nightmare haha

Hmmm only change is I'd have taken a large brush with me, I only took 2 small rounds (a 1 and a 2) and though they are great for picking paint off of the palette they cannot cover a full page worth of background with it evenly, so next time I'll take may be a half inch flat with me too to make easy and clean backgrounds =) the palette itself I was really pleased with (though of course I would say that having made it lol) but no it did everything I asked of it and is waiting to be refilled =)

lol well you know I'm not one of those people that say 'you have to have this' & 'you have to have that' to make something ~ I like creativity to be assessable to everyone by using what you have but if I have a 'must have' tool then this it is, makes life so much easier =D x

Hello! I absolutely love this! I am actually really wanting to do something similar to this for our trips, like the one coming up, hawaii! please give me some tips on how to start this, I actually have never done one like this before! thank you! :)
