I've gotta say, if you were a gym leader in galar you'd probably be my favorite. Those vibes were adorable and i love that team.
I've thought of it, and if i was a gym leader I'd probably be a fairy type. I think the gym challenge would have you step into a fairy tale and have to play it out. (My thoughts are specifically the tale of the bamboo cutter). And just because i love theories, I'd probably put some dialogue in there that implies the leader is the emperor from the story, and he asks what you would have done with the immortality elixir.

    That was really cool actually
(Lore for the peirce/marnie thing: Peirce and Marnie had to sell the city, and it instead was build up more and became a Poison Gym. Perice still kept his job, and now double battles with Marnie. Fun little challenge (still no dynamax))

I'd always think of what it would be like to be a gym leader, so this was cool! If I had to be a gym leader, I'd use the fire type, I really think they have lots of cool Pokémon. If starters were allowed, my ace would be Charizard, and yes, I'd mega into Y if megas are a thing, and gmax if it was gen 8. As for Paldea, I'd need a Pokémon that could work as a fire type that's in the Pokedex, and if I was the 8th gym leader, I'd have fire tera Dragonite, since it looks like Charizard

Personally, I'd be a Poison Type Gym Leader, designed to make you really think of what to do as I try to stall you out with things like Drapion or Scolipede, with a Seviper as my Ace and strongest- Slow, low defense, low health, *but 100 in both attack stats ensure a hit will hurt.*
I'd have a lot of dialog about how everything can be a Poison, yet on the opposite side, they can also be a Medicine, after all, we learned plenty of Medicine from Poisons.

Do any of the Poison/Bug types learn sticky web? That could help and if there was a Gengar or other ghost type it could help wear them down for Serviper!

Awesome video! Always loved the Pokémon teams fellow fans make and your arts really fun. Also dark type represent(the fact that a lot of dark types aren’t actually evil even though the name is actually evil in Japanese makes them pretty cool)! Personally I like the concept of dual typing dark and ghost(a lot of my favorite mons are always dual typed with dark or ghost)

Honestly if the maze wasn't full of Dark-types (and assuming Bea is the 4th gym leader instead of Allister) I would assume the type was Ghost
I haven't seen this channel before but your avatar and the background also gave me Ghost-type vibes

To be a Galar gym leader, I was expecting every to be from the Galar dex (and what is Zoroark’s berry gonna do if you breathe on Zoroark it stops moving)

Alright I think I cooked here- my gym is all about my favorite Pokémon so it doesn’t account for specific types, regions, and power levels but I **think** I made it work. I am Paldea’s 8th gym leader and have become a figure like Blue who stepped down from being Champion to provide a invigorating presence for trainers using a team not limited to a single type, I kept all these Pokémon since I was little (They all came to be my favorites from an adopt a child project we did in high school and their unevolved forms came to grow on me so my backstory is I got them at the start of my journey and have mastered their abilities.) and I have built them to the best of their ability, despite being a Paldean gym leader I have gone to Kitakami and Unova among other regions so I know their tricks of the trade as well as Pokémon to battle with. In your first match you will face my middle four Pokémon but after beating the champion (presumably Nemona by this point) any competitors will be free to see me go all out! Leading off we have Galvantula with the Swarm ability (Compound Eyes didn’t help my moves) rocking some fashionable Heavy-Duty boots to keep chip damage from hazards away (Quick claw instead if there are obviously none.), this may sound odd for a lead Pokémon but after considering the move set it starts making sense, Immediately it will start setting up Sticky Webs for speed control and if possible will use Thunderwave to paralyze the opponent, then for damage it can use Leech Life to regain health (or Bug Buzz to prioritize Special Attack.) and importantly Volt-Switch to pivot allowing it multiple opportunities to hit the field to deal more damage and set up hazards again if necessary. Second off is Dudunsparce with the Rattled ability (Serene Grace doesn’t affect its moves.) and a Lum Berry to remove those pesky burns that drop its attack and chip away at it, it continues the hazard train with Stealth Rocks and afterwards will set up with Coil to become a threat, attacking with STAB Hyper Drill that breaks any sort of Protect esc move and Drill Run as coverage for most Rock and Steel types. Depending on how the events transpire the next Pokémon will be one of the next three with the first up being Hydrapple (Originally I had this be Appletun but the DLC clearly changed my mind.) who unfortunately doesn’t really benefit from its signature ability and gets Regenerator instead- but combining that with an Assualt vest means it can take plenty of hits and with a move set of Syrup Bomb for STAB and speed control, Fickle Beam for good STAB damage, Giga Drain for Longevity, and Pollen Puff for Shenanigans it can be a real menace singles and doubles alike! Chandelure comes up next to add some immediate offense pressure, with the Flame Body ability (Flash fire probably won’t be too useful without any major fire weaknesses.) and a Weakness Policy to punish anything that hits it with a super effective move that doesn’t kill (Alternatively a Colbur Berry as its Dark weakness is otherwise unchecked.) and for its moves Calm Mind to boost its special stats including its attacks with STAB Flamethrower and Shadow Ball alongside Energy Ball for coverage against anything that could hurt Fire types. For the penultimate Pokémon we have Walrein whose Thick Fat (alternatives didn’t seem helpful.) makes it resilient and Leftovers make bringing it an arduous task to bring down, it’s attacking moves are just the basic Ice Beam and Surf but it has Rest to bring back its health and Sleep Talk to make it a lot less defenseless while asleep to become surprisingly formidable. Lastly is Rampardos and seeing as you made a regional form to be your Ace Pokémon I decided to play some shenanigans as well, despite having some pretty good abilities Rampardos isn’t well suited to exploiting them so instead I gave it something it really should have had to begin with- Rock Head removes all recoil, with hazard support and a Rock Polish to fix its speed issue and raise its attack a STAB Head Smash suddenly becomes the most terrifying attack imaginable with Double-Edge in the back in case that doesn’t work and Earthquake to cover for Steel types it would be a deadly combatant even without its Life Orb making its attacks all the more lethal! As for my use of Tera well all of them have a unique Tera type that will be decided which one gets used mid match but all of them use it primarily defensively with Galvantula being Tera Fighting (Resists Rock and I didn’t want overlapping Tera types), Dudunsparce being Ghost (Immune to Fighting), Hydrapple being Steel (Resists Ice, Fairy, Flying, Bug and Dragon as well as makes Poison an Immunity.) Chandelure becomes Grass (Resists Water and Ground plus adds STAB to Energy Ball.), Walrein gains Fairy (Resists Fighting.) with the exception of Rampardos who Tera’s rock to make Head Smash even more insanely strong! I know I spent a long time gassing this up for some pretty mid at best Pokémon but I really liked what I did here and besides, “Strong Pokémon. Weak Pokémon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers should try to win with their favorites.”, thank you Karen for your wisdom!

Additionally as I would have presumably replaced Grusha the location in the Glassado Mountains could provide a useful environment for a fairly straightforward but unique gym challenge, here’s some dialogue I came up with to explain it.
“So you’ve gotten this far? That’s not bad as far as I’m concerned but not bad doesn’t exactly cut it here! You see- around here I’m what they like to call a wake up call, if you don’t come at me with your A game then you aren’t going to make it any further, and even if you do you’ll need to be quite impressive to beat me. Even then I’m a fair guy, you know La Primera right? Well we go way back, she helped guide me to where I am today and wouldn’t be here without her help so I’d like to the same. No fancy games here, I do battles because I love the craft so I won’t bore you with any irrelevant chores or anything! Instead my challenge is just to take battling to its extreme, you see she once told me knowledge is everything when it comes to battles- you have to know what you’re up against if you are to overcome it! What I want you to do is go out and catch some nearby Pokémon, enough for a full team and I don’t want any pushovers- they have to be fully evolved and let’s say at least level forty! Then come back to me and I’ll lend you MY OWN Pokémon for you to battle them with, get to know my Pokémon and their strengths and weaknesses. There’s only one catch, you fail the challenge if you can’t knock out all those freshly caught Pokémon without letting any of mine faint and you can’t use items mid fight! With that out of the way let’s see what you’re made of!”

I just realized that Substitute would probably be better for Walrein than Sleep Talk… Aw well.
Also this is probably a bit much for a first time gym leader even with only four Pokémon so maybe remove the held items.
Anyways I came up with some more quotes for him.
Upon seeing the players Pokémon: “These look adequate for a warm up!”
Upon the player sending out the first Pokémon: “I wonder what strategy you’ll showcase here?”
Upon the Player Terastilizing one of his Pokémon: “I see you checked out what they can transform into, the question is can you guess in the moment?~”
Upon seeing the player switch mid turn: “Don’t worry, there’s shame knowing when a matchup isn’t ideal!”
Upon seeing the player land a super effective hit: “Yeah of course I know about my type matchups, just don't pretend they are the end all be all of battling!”
Upon seeing the player land a critical hit: “Luck DOES play a big part in battles to be fair.”
Upon seeing the Player be struck by a critical hit or miss an attack: “Damn, sometimes the odds are just like that!”
Upon half of the opposing Pokémon being defeated: “Don’t worry about them getting hurt, I’ve spared plenty of times with the local Pokémon. In fact I think I recognize these guys from before!”
Upon Seeing a Baxcallibur be sent off on the opposite side of the field: “Woah you managed to catch one of these things? Just for that I’ll let it slide if ONE of my Pokémon faints~”
Upon seeing another Baxacallibur: “Okay you aren’t getting any brownie points for getting another one ya show off!”
Upon one of his Pokémon fainting: “Looks like didn’t foresee that one coming…”
Upon losing the challenge: “Clearly you have a ways to go before you’re ready to face me!”
Upon winning the challenge: “Looks you’ve proved yourself worthy, guess it’s time to get my hands dirty!~”

If I were a gym leader, I would specialise in Bug Or Fairy types. I’ll go with fairy types in the Incdia region. (My fakemon home region) my gym would Be in an Art Gallery. The challenge would be a painting competition. You would have to paint 3 Pokémon: Granbull, morgrem, and ribombee. Then you would battle the gym trainers after each one, finally, when you finish the challenge, you will battle me. Gym Leader Archie Of Incadia. 3rd Gym.
    My team:
    Slitherdame (Fairy/poison)
    Floette (Regional form, Fairy/Grass)
    Togekiss
My Team when you battle me as the Champion:
    Tinkaton
    Slitherdame (Fairy/poison
    Hatterene
    Rollavola (Fairy/Ground
    Florges (regional form, Fairy/grass)
    Togekiss (Mega)
