I made the bag, with the 6x6 blocks. It turned out nice. The project was fun. It did take a lot of time, supplies, thread, interfacing, etc, etc but like anything you like to do you work pass the unimportant issues. Instead of being restricted to certain colour choices I just scrappy-ed it. Individual blocks were not the prettiest but over all it had a nice feel to it. Also I did not use batting in between, I thought it would be too bulky or stiff, for me it was the right choice. It did stitch out very good and the instructions were spot on and thorough which were needed. The Top Block was the most confusing which I could not get the rhythm down and had to keep looking to the pdf instructions. The Bottom Block seemed to be constructed more logically so after making it the first time the next five times went much faster. The base I used black soft canvass which seemed to ground the purse and the interior I had very bright and sunny material. I thought it complimented the overall look. So it was a fun two day project.

Question-are you supposed to do the Center Pineapple Block edges reversed that way when you attaché to the other 2 pineapples the colors match up?
