Excellent Video EV Customs, never apologize for your English, it's who God made you to be, besides its very understandable. I learned a lot from your Video. I just upgraded my ebike to give it more torque and power which required me to change the Controller, Display and Motor. After I installed everything and tested the throttle everything seemed to work, I overinflated the back tire and the inner tube exploded so I had to remove the rear wheel and install a new inner tube and put everything back together, went to test ride but now I'm experiencing an error code that says "Motor Position Sensor Fault" any suggestions would be greatly helpful. I'm going to check everything your video suggested and I'll let you know if it worked. Thank you for your Videos keep them coming! I subscribed to your channel!
Thank you CJ Allen! this error means two things... 1) somewhere your hall sensors wires is cutted or your hall sensor connector is no good (check pin connections) or 2) your hall sensors is damaged (you must open the motor)
@@EVCustoms thanks for the response. It was the motor cable wasn't connected properly because I had to.disconnect to.change rear inner tube and I.didn't connect it properly. Thanks for your help!

Hello Chris.. each e-bike factory have own error codes, you must find manuals for your bike, or communicate with the factory..
What about and Error 30 code (communication error) the phase wires were also burnt and melted like the ones in the video and I have no idea how to fix it. Any ideas or tips

@@EVCustoms I did they seem fine, the controller seems fine also because I put it into another bike and it works. So, I'm stumped I do not know what else to do but to just get new wires, display and controller from what I read everywhere that the only way to fix an error 30.

error code 8 is a connection issue...
Very nice. I've had similar issues with phase wires getting too hot and shorting out only I didn't notice any moisture issues. What I did notice was that everything was really hot. Luckily all I had to do was pull them apart and I was able to get back on the road until I could get home and fix them. I've changed the connectors, because it always seems to happen at the connection point. Is there a way to reduce the amount of heat generated in the wiring. I'm thinking that I'm drawing too many amps from the battery. Maybe I need a thicker gauge wire? Could soldering the shunts in the controller help? Or maybe use larger capacitors? Sorry. So many questions ! This is one of the biggest issues I've run into so far. Your videos are great ! I'm sure you're helping more people than you realize. As for your English; don't worry about it ! The videos speak for themselves but hearing you explain things is really helpful. Just speak the best you can and anyone truly interested in learning will get the message. Thank you again. Keep up the good work.
hello Jim Dumas and thank you !! my friend the best way is to solder the free face power wires of motor, and power wires from the battery... I can help you more if you tell me your battery voltages , your motor and controller wattage..
I have a small electric bike that is brand new that will not turn on unless it is hooked up to the charger. When I have it plugged in it will turn on and it shows a full battery and horn honks but no throttle. When unplugged nothing will turn on. Totally dead. Any advice??
Check your battery output...

Check your handle brake wiring.. maybe they are shorted somewhere..

If you took enough time to look up the error code you would know it a SPEED SENSOR problem. besides the melted wiring on the motor.
Mine had the same water problem with those extra holes that did NOT have any rubber garments in the .
Just REMOVE all the garbage and install a good kit like I did on mine My controller eventually went bad so I did the BBSHD kit .
By the way Your BB is 100MM if you decide to o the route of a BBSHD kit
How do I know this is because i had a bike like that and completely removed the hub motor and respoked the wheel and installed a BBSHD which made the bike much much better than you could imagine and unfortunately Mine got STOLE in April 2019 in NY USA.
With a few simple upgrades you can make this bike into a fantastic machine.
I not haw the upgraded version of that bike with the Ultra mid drive built into the frame with Hydraulic brakes
