Besides coming up with a really cool and creative idea, he's not cashing in at all on this thing. Because of that waaay more people can afford one. Amazing job Jonah.
Thanks Scott, lots of activity recently and a whole load of Knobcon videos to do and to come. I'll have to keep a bit of a break around other videos going up so it doesn't distract though.
@@DivKid Yeah Jeremy’s videos are brilliant. The bit where the moon went “why don’t you start an improv group called get the f**k out of here” almost had me choking on my coffee I was laughing so hard :)
How does is stay synchronized with all other modules? Unless there is a lifetime battery and clock in it (or recharges when you modular is turend on), I wouldn't know how this is done 😅
You add your own clock to A and B sections and that steps through that days rhythm. So it's an in sync or out of sync as you make it to your system and patch.
@@DivKid I meant that the moonphases and mood of all the modules out there are 'synced'. Everyone has the same pattern at the same time. How is that done? Quantum Entanglement via Spooky Interaction at a Distance 😆?
it's two tracks. I agree more tracks for a fuller beat would be great but would you want 4 or more tracks you have no control over that might make zero sense for a beat? I like the idea of a couple (though more than 2 would be nice) of uncontrollable elements of varying step lengths and patterns that I can step through against other predictable rhythms that I can control (sequences, clocks, euclidean etc).
Jonah is incredible, the philosophy of this module is brilliant. Please everyone pay as much as you can.
Mine arrived today, looking forwards to paring with my Subharmonicon and DFAM, fun!
sounds like some fun pairings
I hope you post a vid or two

I'm really happy to have a pet rock... Of this variety.
Brilliant! The future 😊
the future is the moon!
I love the night sky as well as modular synthesis, so this was a no-brainer.
I wonder how many modular users feel that way. Must be lots :)
Looking forward to ours. x
enjoy it when it comes.
Love the burst uploads! Keep them up!

Was cool to meet Jonah there, I was glad I was able to buy one of his modules that day. It's a lot of fun!
Already ordered mine, as soon as synthcube put them up for pre-order, after I saw Red Means Recording‘s video. Such a cool and interesting concept.
the moon and the wizard was fantastic.

haha yeah I knew to keep drinks away from my mouth and hands as I went into that one.
Looks like fun.
we like it

haha ah ok gotcha now. Yeah little watch battery sort of thing.
neat idea. this would be more useful to have 4 tracks. to have an actual rhythm beat with percussion and everything. one is way too limited.

That’s what delay is for…
