He wanted me to know he was mad about that and I had better do as he says in the future. I felt like he was saying now he is going to be getting into trouble because of that! This was years ago and I told him at the time that because I had to wait days to see him that I was already feeling better and did not think I needed the prescription at the time. I think now that had he listened to what I was saying at the time then he should not have even written it out in the first place because I told him I did not want it. Then later to be mad at me about not having gotten that script filled was like I was saying, the nerve of him for not being happy for me that I got better without the prescription that had probably bad side effects as they all do! I think Sarah is right! He probably did miss out on a trip or bonus because otherwise that reaction to seeing me again made no sense and the phrase that is pushed on us is to listen to your doctor but he did not listen to me in regards to how I was feeling so that makes no sense! I’m the one feeling it so I should know if I need it or not!
Then all the commercials that say ask your doctor if this could be right for you? I bet they are not allowed to turn down anyone who asks for a certain drug they see advertised as I’ve discovered at least one drug that doesn’t work at all for anything is being prescribed for many different things that are not even related except the drug being the only thing so it doesn’t get any more crazy than that just give them this then attitude with them knowing all along that it won’t do anything but create more problems! I don’t trust doctors anymore. I totally lost confidence in them and I am healthier for it I am absolutely sure of it! Especially after they attacked innocent people with the bio-weapon that they call by another name which does not actually meet our definitions of the word they have been using. They will all be tried for crimes against humanity that participated I do believe. I feel sorry for the families but wrong is wrong and justice is required to ensure nothing like this ever happens again! There were those strong individuals that did refuse to do that which they knew to be wrong. Those are our new heroes. We shall stand up and clap for the ones who are bringing the deep state down. Thank God for them and that we are still here to see this day! I had hoped almost my whole adult life that I would live to see the day and it overwhelms me even just thinking that it is almost here! Oh, I hope and pray that it is! I think we shall hear of this later on in this month! I’m crossing my fingers! I don’t want us to be enslaved. I want America to remain for future generations! I don’t like their New World order plan patterned after China! I think that is a terrible plan for us and all of our politicians that pledged allegiance to this plan should be arrested for treason. Anytime now, God. Hopefully our people will understand that these people broke our laws and deserve to be arrested so we won’t have riots or civil war. We don’t need that! We just need to be told the truth and get them out of power and then we start rebuilding our world. We need to become business owners to help each other as the big corporations that they owned will go down with them but we can do this! We are going to figure it out. We have to for each other and our children. Think G.D.P everyone! We can do it!

An idea: play the conceit of libertarians. Make a law that requires all news outlets to provide their content in a structured machine parse-able format, then create a platform where each article can be scored against truth variables, then score each outlet on aggregate. Eventually tabloid readers will tire of being lied to, of they can be held to understand the cheap propaganda tricks tabloid owners use. Scoring news articles is not as hard as it sounds, because lying and bullshitting relies on people forgetting, and being distracted constantly. And let's face it, tabloid propaganda isn't very sophisticated, compacting lies with scantily clad women, football scores and hope stories about medical advances. Hoping that truth will win the day in an unregulated information landscape is naive.

I lived and worked in the UK in the late 1990s and found the healthcare 'system' to be VERY good. (Some of the doctors were a very different story, unfortunately.)
My sister visited the UK in 2010.
Her husband needed urgent medical care while there.
As visitors who had never contributed 1 penny to the UK, they had nothing but praise for the 'system'.
They couldn't stop raving about the attentive service - "and it's all FREE".

I spent 40 years working in US healthcare. For most of that time 1/3 of the population had no coverage, 1/3 had moderate coverage and 1/3 had good coverage. I worked part time in a clinic for low income people. After ACA, their care improved considerably here in California, but a lot of Red states and Trump blocked it wherever they could. Amusingly, a lot of them voted for Trump again in 2020 despite his taking away their healthcare. I have come to the conclusion that the best care in my area is from Kaiser, which in many ways resembles the NHS in that it owns all its facilities and staff are salaried.

Next, Denise is right because as stated truthfully in this video, england ended up paying one US pharma exec the equivalent of 40,000 nurses salaries for one year, US health insurance providers make over 50 billion per quarter screwing the masses and they have used their media arm to make "left" and "right" fight eachother like fools. I realise this project is one brick in the wall of activities you somehow find the time to engage. @MelloWattz Just lightly study different medical problems. Four things that I have found out so far.
1.) You have what is called Collateral Circulation, and if you have a blockage forming, your body will use that circulation to build around it. But, you have to make lifestyle changes and get enough exercise.
2.) Drink a half gallon of water every single day throughout the day. While it doesn't thin your blood, it does enable your cells to function properly and can help flush toxins out. Personally, I think it does help make my blood more fluid, because after starting on water for over a month, I went in to get some blood work done, and when they pulled the needle out, my blood forcefully squirted everywhere and then they accused me of drinking. Yeah, water! Lol!
3.) Take it easy on sugar. The last thing you want is a gut and then your insulin gets tired and doesn't want to work anymore, leaving you feeling like shit every day and becoming a Type II diabetic. Trust me, you do not want this. It is a death sentence.
4.) There is no safe amount of alcohol. Do not drink at all! There is absolutely no benefit! Also, smoking will kill you!

Healthcare providers on all levels have been and are continuing to get overly stressed while losing more and more control over the treatment of their patients. I think that COVID may just be the straw that breaks the medical provider's backs. We are continuing lose the people who are providers due to death from illness, PTSD, depression, suicides, loss of control issues, overworked, underpaid, loss of mental health time -> away from the job periodically every year. It does not cross thier little minds that maybe one day they will need these services.
Disgusted, I formally provided an evidence based objection, only to be told not to concern myself with it as a clinician, and to focus on my work. I believe that health care should be free at the point of need, as those who created the NHS intended. Of course that doesn't mean that private health care shouldn't exist or that private health insurance shouldn't be available to those who can afford it. But that should not be at the expense of those who can not. Nor should it result in an inferior service or limuted resources being offered to those who can not afford private care. National Health Contributiions should guarantee a full and unfettered health service and the institutions that provide it should not be run for profit. Especially if those profits are taken out of the sytem to create wealth for those who run corporations and the wealthy individuals who own shares in them.
I'm not suggesting that resources are unlimited, just that they should be administered and offered fairly and efficiently, without the pusuit of profit for the good of society. Of course I think that those resources should be owned by the state and that the state should administer them on behalf of the public. I don't think they should be sold for profit, particularly not when people spend their entire working lives financially contributing to them via National Health Contributions.

Despite Germany still looking very good in handling illness, their system has become "America light"; same flaws, same "solutions" which make the situation even worse, but not yet at the level of America.
They a characteristic of their system is also the categorization of patients and illnesses. It introduced a lot of costs because you need people categorizing patients.
All in all if you have a health care system that runs in a cost covering scheme, leave it that way. History so far showed it is the most humane system we have so far. And make sure it is as transparent as possible, so it is possible for the people to understand the costs that are intrinsic to the health system. That way it is easier to make the system more efficient and to make it stable because no rich investor can come along and say "I can do this better!" In an argument he would have to very precisely show where and how one can save money instead of just empty promises.

The universal system still has held the head above the water but every year budgets are cut while private sector gets more attention, lenient laws or outright subsidies.
Bit by bit, step by step, one of the best health care systems is being dismantled in the favour for already proven failed US system.

Let's see now. In the UK they privatised water because; well the government of the day didn't have any other ideas, or foresight; so why not; and look at the UK today, a water infrastructure system that hasn't been updated since it was sold off thirty years ago; and raw sewage being dumped into the rivers and oceans. When it finally fails; the Government; ie; the taxpayer will be forced to step in, in an attempt to save it. And it may be beyond saving. The NHS has been underfunded for the last 12 years; and sold of piece by piece. Eventually the tories will announce that the only way to save it is to sell it off completely, to US insurance companies. And then the UK will be like the USA. It will NOT have a HEALTH CARE SYSTEM; it'll have a HEALTH INSURANCE SYSTEM. The first provides care the second works out reasons to deny it, and if it cannot it will bankrupt you slowly with "co-pays".

The NHS was also being put up for grabs by the EU and the TTIP and it was Blair who welcomed private providers into the NHS and the rot began.
