LP records the audio of their shows and professionally mixes them to release. they fix mistakes in them. in this show, the engineers thought chester screwed up (but he was just letting the crowd sing) so they fixed it in the audio by pasting in a line from another show. no the crowd wasn't silent. crowd was loud as hell lol, I was there. you can't hear the crowd much in-song on these audio releases. the taper filmed the show in HD video.
They did this in Projekt Revolution. DVD has "Fuck this hurts" for Bleed it Out but on the Linkin Park TV channel it's "Try this hurts" which was pasted from the line "Try ignoring him" Made sense to me after watching this video

When Chester sang New Divide at this show, he messed up during the first chrous. Then during this chorus as you can see in the video, he let the crowd sing that line as kind of a "haha YOU guys do it so I don't mess up!" silly thing. But LP's mixer Pooch decided to copy/paste a line from the previous chorus and stick it there. This video is showing that.
i am a linkin park lover, i got the original DSP from this show and youre right man they messed up on the mp3!!! i understand the people getting nevous for this because we all love linkin park and we dont want somebody to put them wrong so dont care about what they say, theyre just protecting linkin park and i know you like linkin park too we all love them because theyre will always be the best band in the world!!!! bye man!!!
Es ist ja etz nur mal ne Vermutung, aber wenn ihr die Albumversion anhört, dann kann man hören wie Chester verschiedene Teile in zwei verschiedenen Tonlagen singt (die LP jeweils aufgenommen und dann zusammengefügt hat). Wenn man das Video hier ansieht, kann man deutlich hörn, dass bei dem "versungenen to fill this hole" eine Tonlage fehlt und zwar die, die er live selbst drübersingt.
Ich könnt desswegen wetten, wenn er selbst weitergesungen hätte, dann würde er To prove me wrong und to fill this hole gleichzeitig singen. Es gibt Bands, die viel Wert auf Pyroeffekte legen und wiederum Bands mit einer Hammer Lichter/Lasershow. Linkin Park verbessert eben die Vokals. Ich nehm ihnen den kleinen Patscher nicht übel. ;D
