I personally barely noticed that. My only gripe was the lack of Saitama and the focus on actual story elements lol, I was not prepared for that coming out of season 1 lol
This isn't a spoiler since its never been confirmed or actually mentioned, but I believe that the Boros prophecy was for Blast, not Saitama. Since Boros was told 20 years ago that a being exists that can match him, and Blast left 20 years ago. Not sure Saitama was that strong 20 years prior.
Blast would also have been too strong for him. It was probably more that the seer wanted revenge on Boros for attacking his planet and slaughtering his people.
@@alyssongg8532 she was a baby. The prophecy said a match EXISTS. It did not say that it will exist in 20 years. Blast was already the number 1 hero 20 years ago. Additionally, Boros conquered many planets on his way to Earth, so its not like he went straight to Earth.
You guys probably already heard but season 2 has a downgrade in animation, but in my opinion the story makes up for that since it’s more focused on the side cast and has way more buildup to one of the best villain in the series.
There are multiple extra episodes called OVAs/specials that take part between both seasons and after s2

Going into season 2, you should know it was animated by a different studio and was disliked for it's downgrade in quality, the story is still good.
