During their busy season, Shen Yun artists travel like trapeze artists to perform for audiences in many cities. But what audiences can't imagine is that after the glamorous curtain call, every member of the cast has to "roll up their sleeves" to help unload and load the trucks, even the lead dancers!
Today, Sam-one of the 3 Musketeers-will reveal the "24-hour life" of Shen Yun's cast members. Through his talks with other dancers, Shen Yun host Li Shan, and principal dancer Jeffrey Sun, the unique work culture of Shen Yun-to be humble and not complacent-is brought to light.

Hi Sam, Will, and Jisung! It was great being with you guys in Hartford Saturday night. Your show is phenomenal! What is even more amazing is to see all of you unified and pulling together to do the "Strike" after that grueling performance. Working in a theatre for as long as I have doing security, I have never seen a cast pull together after the show like that before. Your audience probably is not aware of how much work you continue to do after your performance is done. Truely inspirational. Just watched your performance tonight, and I will watch 3 more ShenYun shows tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Many programs moved me in tears from the beginning. You guys did great job. Don't you use local stage crew and wardrobe? They are the ones that usually set up and strike. I'm amazed that after 1 or 2 shows that you would have to also stay and work more. I see that you also have a road crew, but do you ever work with locals?

Today saw your last show at our city. I hope to watch 1000 times more. The music, the more time I listen, the more rich feelings I can feel. The dance program is really uplifting and interesting. I recommend ppl to watch ShenYun at least twice a year, one time sitting upstairs, one time sitting in main floor, and u will see totally different view and enjoy the beauty from different angle. All the best to you all for the rest of your trip! Thanks for coming to our city ❤️ I hope elementary school and high school could start some Chinese classical dance class to their students, because I saw "英雄出少年" from ShenYun dancers! I hope the young generations could follow your steps and learn the moral and spiritual value and physical movement from ShenYun.
