New Yorker writer Ronan Farrow has won the Pulitzer Prize for public service, a National Magazine Award, and a George Polk Award for his “indefatigable and imaginative” (Globe and Mail) reportage of some of the most important issues of our time. A former anchor and reporter for MSNBC and NBC News and a former State Department official in Afghanistan and Pakistan, he is the author of the New York Times bestseller War on Peace: The End of Diplomacy and the Decline of American Influence. In his new book, he offers a harrowing account of his plunge into the scores of abuse allegations against Harvey Weinstein.
Whenever I listen to Ronan, I feel like I've received a masterclass on the use of language.
Ronan, as a 73 year old female who has as many of my friends have been harassed and raped, then shamed about it. I respect what you are doing. Right On, young brother!

When Mia disclosed in the 1960s that the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi made a pass at her when she went to India with The Beatles I believed her and thought she was very brave but no one wanted to hear it then. We’ve come a long way in 5 or 6. Decades but we still have a long way to go. Rock on, Ronin!

I just love him and his passion for justice !
Yeah well it's the police and courts that are supposed to be "investigative" and listen to victims statements but the sad truth is they don't want to hear it it's never their problem or jurisdiction etc. Robyn Dolittle said the same in Canada they blame victims not reporting incidents but in reality reports are just ignored and victims silenced.
I sincerely hope that Ronan runs for President. He’s profoundly noble, erudite, articulate, mature, tenacious, level-headed, truthful, thoughtful, fearless, heroic and highly virtuous. Mia must be absolutely in bliss that her son is such a shining emanation of her heart’s highest supernova dreams-to have raised such an extraordinarily stellar son & a true gentleman. Ronan is a Knight in Shining Armor. He’s Spiritual Royalty. A Noble Protector.

That is very well placed sentiment, Therese, and with the recent outbursts from Matt Lauer and Ben Smith claiming 'resistance journalism' needs to be refuted by the public understanding the full record of all the incidents noted in CATCH AND KILL.

Years ago when his research surfaced I was SHOCKED this is so prevalent but felt it would all be swept under a rug but it looks like some sort of justice will be meted and others will think twice before using their power for nefarious, disgusting things but it won’t go away till everyone speaks up ie. Assistants, producers etc!

It's not just some workplace harrassment issue though goes on all over girls raped at colleges wives and children in domestic abuse situations people do talk but get ignored concerns dismissed stalked intimidated etc.
Ronan Farrow is a hero, he risked his life & career to tell the story of these brave ladies who have become the Me Too Movement I’m from 🇬🇧 & just ordered his book, can’t wait to use it. Please keep me posted when Weinstein faces trial in Los Angeles. Also thanks to Emma Thompson who backed the book & spoke about when she was in her twenties there were old men trying to stick their tongues down her throat & suggests that with Weinstein in prison, yes it’s a great win but it is still going on in LA.

As a survivor of this growing up, then marrying into and surviving sinister dynamics w a machiavelli dark tetrad ex husband, whos family is law enforcement church n state, I can tell you there's no one safe to ask help from.
Ull be destroyed over and over.
And they make sure ur trapped w no way out unless you commit suicide or they kill you off.

All that stalking technology is readily available now people can claim to have lost "their" phone and track yours just with your phone number now. Apple air tags get put on people's cars etc.
