    So it basically comes down to, open a mini account. Build your skills and when you have the track record and confidence, apply for a funded account. After using a funded account with success, then use those skills to attract investors.

    I think a prop firm would be perfect if you are still young and living with parents like me. If your really good the profits you make from the firm can easily go to your own personal retail account and you can thus make 100% of your own capital while working with the firm. BUT ONLY IF YOU GOOD!

    In my opinion it’s good to go with funded even if you won’t prepare, you got there set up rules you have to stick them, it’s good to get it to your habit, it’s risk management at list 10 days of trading etc, you have to be consistent, there are some funded account with no need challenge but you have to go for appointment.

  • @wanashthegash
    @wanashthegash 3 роки тому +4

    Lowest for FTMO is like 155£ its really not that bad if you want to challenge yourself, you will probably liquidate a few 200£ accounts anyways when you start learning this.
    And also if you can make a 3-5k a month in the end that is more the enough to save up money to fund your OWN account.
    no reason to to stress into a thing like this, try the challenge when you are profitable with real money, NOT DEMO, they are 2 separate things.

    Oh I almost forgot to answer. I am currently not looking for a funded account I have made 2,000 since I started trading a month ago with 1,000 brought my total to 3,000. I do think about going to a prop firm but I really like trading on higher time frames like daily and up because the patterns are more reliable. I however had no choice but to switch to a smaller time frame and reduced size because of the market conditions. I also noticed markets are more leaning to Supply/Demand lately. I'm not sure if these props firms would fit my style or if I even need them right now.

    I tried to open a company in Estonia by their e-residency program, to trade for prop-firms via that company. The problem is that no one want to deal with businesses related to forex trading, especially in Europe, under Mifid II new rules. Seems like prop-trading concept it's pretty vague in the mind of legislators across the world. I'm curious if you have a video about how to set a company, or set yourself as a self-employed and avoid these stupid regulations. It seems they really make a confusion between trading OPM and trading for a prop-firm. They tell you that you have be licensed even to trade for prop firms, and it's seems that this subject is quite vague even on the internet. You won't find clear answers. What do you think?

      Yes and even though this comment is from a year ago I want to left this for people to know: let's say a prop firm 100k account has a max drawdown of 3k, it means if you go less than that the account is closed then based on that they're not giving you 100k but 3k, if you have 3k on your own you'ld do the same you'ld do with them: loose money or make profit my advise is if you don't have 3k but a couple hundreds then start with them and once you make a couple thousands go on your own so you don't give 20% of your hard work

      The spreads with the broker and liquidity providers they use are pretty comparable to other brokers overall. You can see sometimes a spread 0.2-0.4 pips wider than ICMarkets, but that is normal variability between liquidity providers that is common between brokers of different regions.

      5%ers and AxiSelect do. The issue with FTMO is that you can't hold trades over the weekend.

      They have a maximum drawdown that you need to respect. If you go over the limit, you won't be able to trade for them anymore

      Etienne Crete - Desire To TRADE that’s a lie if you fail you can repeat. That’s where the money is at. No brainer give multiple nonstop chances to get a funded account just a small fee. It’s like trading on your real account if you lose it trade again ( newbies do)

    • @speedy6392
      @speedy6392 4 роки тому +1

      Raqun Pommer yea but U have to apply again and pay again, it’s a small fee yes but if you keep applying it will stack up best to respect the account. If you apply for 100k it’s not really a small initial fee either. When he said you can’t trade with them anymore he meant on that specific account.

      For most prop firms the only restrictions are major banned countries like North Korea and such. But most allow US citizens and residents to apply. You can always find the most up to date information on their website.

    No, they don't make more money from people who are successfully trading from them. There are hardly any successful traders who are profitable every month. This is why. These prop firms are largely dependent upon failed challenge fees.

      This will different for every trader. Some trade better with other people's money while others completely break their discipline and make big mistakes. Its all about what works best for you and your goals. Getting other sources of funding like prop firms its a great way to increase your income from trading, but as with everything, there are some drawbacks to it.
