Yes Etienne am ready to trade I have been trading a demo for almost 7months and last year November I started profiting with my strategy till now am profiting ever time but there are some losses and I take them as a lessons
So it basically comes down to, open a mini account. Build your skills and when you have the track record and confidence, apply for a funded account. After using a funded account with success, then use those skills to attract investors.
I think a prop firm would be perfect if you are still young and living with parents like me. If your really good the profits you make from the firm can easily go to your own personal retail account and you can thus make 100% of your own capital while working with the firm. BUT ONLY IF YOU GOOD!
Just to be clear I did trade a demo account for a whole year and also waited till I got a month straight almost trading every day with 500.00 US with no bad trades and another 2 months with 3 bad trades before I felt confident enough to trade big and higher risk.
Don't trade FTMO like you do a personal account. Learn risk reward ratio with a consistent strategy. You have 30 to 60 days, you CAN do this. Trader seed helped me a lot.
Etiene has been such a valuable avenue to learn about trading. I still remember his quote about back texting vs jumping from method to method that had a bigger impact on my trading than anything.
In my opinion it’s good to go with funded even if you won’t prepare, you got there set up rules you have to stick them, it’s good to get it to your habit, it’s risk management at list 10 days of trading etc, you have to be consistent, there are some funded account with no need challenge but you have to go for appointment.
Lowest for FTMO is like 155£ its really not that bad if you want to challenge yourself, you will probably liquidate a few 200£ accounts anyways when you start learning this. And also if you can make a 3-5k a month in the end that is more the enough to save up money to fund your OWN account. no reason to to stress into a thing like this, try the challenge when you are profitable with real money, NOT DEMO, they are 2 separate things.
Oh I almost forgot to answer. I am currently not looking for a funded account I have made 2,000 since I started trading a month ago with 1,000 brought my total to 3,000. I do think about going to a prop firm but I really like trading on higher time frames like daily and up because the patterns are more reliable. I however had no choice but to switch to a smaller time frame and reduced size because of the market conditions. I also noticed markets are more leaning to Supply/Demand lately. I'm not sure if these props firms would fit my style or if I even need them right now.
you are the one paying for the funded account, you trade how u wanna trade as long as its within there risk limits, they are never gonna stand in your way, there aim is to find good traders always remember that, they want someone else to trade there money so they don't have to, some give you a whole year before they fund you that's zero pressure in my eyes
I tried to open a company in Estonia by their e-residency program, to trade for prop-firms via that company. The problem is that no one want to deal with businesses related to forex trading, especially in Europe, under Mifid II new rules. Seems like prop-trading concept it's pretty vague in the mind of legislators across the world. I'm curious if you have a video about how to set a company, or set yourself as a self-employed and avoid these stupid regulations. It seems they really make a confusion between trading OPM and trading for a prop-firm. They tell you that you have be licensed even to trade for prop firms, and it's seems that this subject is quite vague even on the internet. You won't find clear answers. What do you think?
To be honest putting $5,000 into a live account and taking it slow has help me a lot no profit target to make no pressure, no deadlines just taking my setups on my time I’ve nearly double this account in a few months
I want to trade crypto only, maybe CME's... In the last 13mo my personal system has made about 140 trades with 121profitable. About 2.65pf only participating in the market about 30% of the time... 15 and 5m charts. I had no idea I could be funded. I could easily pass a demo test in a week. I live in the United States. I would love to keep75% month after month.
Not sure why you said Topstep are for all assets? They are only Futures (indices and limited range of fx), they are mainly for US traders. Instead people like FTMO you can trade pretty much all asset classes (CFD indices, crypto, stocks and fx).
Awesome video. I'm currently trading with 5%ers on a $10,000 evaluation account. Their evaluation program is very effective IMO. Very clever business model as well with the one off payment.
@@jasonfrank3897 i keep hearing alot of problems currently with ftmo too .. you checked that thread at ftmo? Alot talking about weird things happening at there ftmo demo accounts
I trade for the Apiary Fund. Newbs are their specialty. The education program ends with a funded account. It's not get rich quick by any means, but if you put in the time and effort, you can get rich slow.
imo the biggest issue with prop firms has been my inability to access enough capital, 2 million has been inadequate to meet with my risk to reward ratio mindset for success
Most of these firms are just kitchen-style brokers with extra steps. Most traders fails, which is very profitable for those firms. And ones who are actually profitable - well, they are just another source of income for them.
Indeed i does look like their Terms and Conditions makes it almost certain they will make money, "they are the Casino", which brings up the question where are they regulated, and as what!
Yes and even though this comment is from a year ago I want to left this for people to know: let's say a prop firm 100k account has a max drawdown of 3k, it means if you go less than that the account is closed then based on that they're not giving you 100k but 3k, if you have 3k on your own you'ld do the same you'ld do with them: loose money or make profit my advise is if you don't have 3k but a couple hundreds then start with them and once you make a couple thousands go on your own so you don't give 20% of your hard work To these liars *I'm not native English speaker*
Are FTMO reliable and not a scam? that whole trading a demo account that replicates onto the investor one seems shady, but i want to know from people who have used it.
You say that the evaluation fee is so they don't lose money... but it costs them nothing for them to open a demo account for your evaluation. There is literally no good justification to pay for a test.
It’s a protection for the drawdown when you get live. You could pass the challenge and hit the max drawdown on the live account. Then the prop firm would lose money.
I think the negatives you state for a prop firm are far outweighed by the positive. If you think that you can only pay the bills with a $100k or $1.2 million account then I need to get out more!
It all make sense now I was wondering why are giving away free money but they aren't giving it away, they are basically online investors that investing in you, the more you make money they make money. That's a win win situation for everyone
My forex funds recently published there stats. There funded programme is basically same rules as FTMO. Of 3544 people. 637 pass first stage. 197 pass second stage 5.5 percent. 5.5 percent. Making it to 1 month of having an account there are 4 people. 0.2% 😟
hey man fair game if ya ask me ...drop the deposit ..choose decent leverage and man tf up with skill ..the price of every challenge we all then blew either on sneaker head shit ,goood night at the club etc...so what there really to lose ?...a lesson & or a come up
I realize there's only forex firms. Could your recommend firms that can fund for stock traders? I mainly trade the US small cap stocks. Love your videos btw!
What my main worry is, is that anybody can set up a prop-firm website, post few ads on Google and start collecting $150 or $200 from wannabee traders. Its very easy to "fail" all the applicants for any kind of reason. How can one make sure that he doesn't pay $200 evaluation fee to some scammer pretending he's a prop-firm? Is there a list of real prop-firms?
That’s why the longevity of the prop firm matters a lot. I wouldn’t go with the brand new hot prop firm for that reason. Then look if they have a couple of traders getting paid for a while with them.
There is no restriction on how can i use the funds right? Lets say i put $240k to dividend stocks that can generate 7% yearly .. can i still get the profit? "Rented for 360 days"
There are always restrictions on what you can use funds for. Each prop firm is different, same for each client if you are trading for others. In the end, its the client's money and they put the rules on what you can and cant do with it.
Hi mate, first of all I want to thank you for your honesty and your content! :) I would like to ask, is it possible to trade for multiple companies at once through some application that copies trades to multiple mt4 accounts? Thanks a lot for the reply. :)
Man. I want to ask you that I have not been into trading before and I am thinking to learn it. Is it really worth the time and efforts? I gotta look after my family and I cannot afford to waste my time. If trading is a good idea even in longer term point of view, I am in. Please advise.
Suhail Rafeeque Sup man! I just wanted to comment & say that. With persistence & hard work, I believe anyone can make it in the industry no matter what your financial situation is at the moment. The spreads with the broker and liquidity providers they use are pretty comparable to other brokers overall. You can see sometimes a spread 0.2-0.4 pips wider than ICMarkets, but that is normal variability between liquidity providers that is common between brokers of different regions.
Etienne Crete - Desire To TRADE that’s a lie if you fail you can repeat. That’s where the money is at. No brainer give multiple nonstop chances to get a funded account just a small fee. It’s like trading on your real account if you lose it trade again ( newbies do)
Raqun Pommer yea but U have to apply again and pay again, it’s a small fee yes but if you keep applying it will stack up best to respect the account. If you apply for 100k it’s not really a small initial fee either. When he said you can’t trade with them anymore he meant on that specific account.
For most prop firms the only restrictions are major banned countries like North Korea and such. But most allow US citizens and residents to apply. You can always find the most up to date information on their website.
No, they don't make more money from people who are successfully trading from them. There are hardly any successful traders who are profitable every month. This is why. These prop firms are largely dependent upon failed challenge fees.
This will different for every trader. Some trade better with other people's money while others completely break their discipline and make big mistakes. Its all about what works best for you and your goals. Getting other sources of funding like prop firms its a great way to increase your income from trading, but as with everything, there are some drawbacks to it.

For most prop firms the only restrictions are major banned countries like North Korea and such. But most allow US citizens and residents to apply. You can always find the most up to date information on their website.

My pleasure Jason! Let me know if I can help in any way!
No, they don't make more money from people who are successfully trading from them. There are hardly any successful traders who are profitable every month. This is why. These prop firms are largely dependent upon failed challenge fees.
Bro it's been two years now and we're still not done
Ah yes, back then it sounded like Covid would last 2-3 months :)
No I would feel more pressure knowing I was using someone else's money more pressure.
This will different for every trader. Some trade better with other people's money while others completely break their discipline and make big mistakes. Its all about what works best for you and your goals. Getting other sources of funding like prop firms its a great way to increase your income from trading, but as with everything, there are some drawbacks to it.
Well said!
is there any good prop firms to sign up to for funding? for stocks, I tend to trade lower float stocks under 10$
No.
There are some for stocks, but only for large caps.
20/80 split their way?! wow you could make more trading micro's yourself
why does it seem like it's more of a game than anything??
Mff is the best prop trading firm I've ever come across

Hi and thanks for the info. Do you know of any company that will fund a Binary Options account for a trader. Everything I find is for Forex account. Thanks
I highly doubt it. Binary options if full of scams and very few real traders.
The nature of the product binary option is a scam regardless how genuine the broker is.
Well said bro
Thank you very much!

Yes. The ones you mentioned are reliable.

You need to open an account with AxiTrader.
Use this link to get a 30% trading credit: d2t.link/AxiTrader
Then connect your account to psyquation.com
After you get minimal 6 months of track record, you'll be eligible for more capital.

Are you tried traders4traders.com? Also what you thinking about collective2 service? I don't know what is better pay and build record at collective2 but i worry may no there investors may notice my strategy or apply on one of that fund programms?
yeah that could be an issue on Collective2 although one trader in my team uses that with good success. I've never looked into Traders4Traders but a few people in my Facebook group are using it.
@@DesireToTRADE i decided to give collective2 try for several months i am very worry about props firms traders4traders etc have rules that can kick you at anytime that's why collective2 more cheaper and safe option
