I have both the stainless Valor and Blued V- Bob Commander both in 45acp. I am the most happy with them over all. The best value for the Dollar production 1911 available. I also have Wilson Combat and Les Baer. But I just love the DW overall.

Its pronounced "Vaah-ler"...as in Stolen Valor. You can determine the year of production by the first two digits of the serial number. 2014 in your case. You should review a Tisas 1911. Just because they are inexpensive, don't knock the quality. Tisas uses all tool steel parts--no MIM--and the fit and finish is comparable to $1200 guns.
I have a 5” Valor I bought in 17. I’ve owned a few Wilson’s over the years but I love my Valor. I think for the money you cannot beat them. Did you buy yours new or used I noticed the famous idiot scratch on it ?
1911s are my favorite. This looks great. I like the colt style magazine better on 1911s.

Real Operators run real 1911s in .45 ACP. If it’s not chambered .45 ACP it’s not a real 1911.
