- The Wi-Fi control smart watering timer system is composed of a smart watering timer TTV103WRF, Wi-Fi gateway TWG004WRF and soil moisture sensor TCS005FRF.
Wi-Fi gateway is like a command center, all watering commands from App will transmit to watering tap timers through Tuya cloud services. The feedback of the watering tap timer and the data of the soil moisture sensor will also be displayed on the smartphone App through the gateway and cloud platform.

With all the recent supply chain breaches/attacks companies are going to have to offer local and cloud based devices. Please consider adding local control for customers so that if they lose internet connectivity, they can still control their device. This also solves the issue of a cloud based breach.

Funciona genial! Desde cualquier lado. Brutal
Buenos dias Alberto. ¿no te dio ningun problema a la hora de configurarlo?? yo estoy intentando configurarlo y no me localiza el dispositivo. Creo que sigo todos los pasos correctamente y no hay manera.
If the hub has to be put two floors upper from the timer (in a close place) to get my private Wi-Fi connection, will it still work?
i purchased 3 of the single zone wifi timers and one irrigation hub. 2 of the timers keep going offline and i need to keep reconnecting them. They are about 50 ft from the hub and the router. is that too far?
I have an issue installing the soil sensor, because the back button I cant press to hold, only moves side by side. is that normal???
Is the wifi gateway hub bivolt?
Hi,
firstable congrats for your product, work fine, pretty easy to setup.
I have one question and one comment.
1. Do you plan to implement push notifications in case flow rate is too high (possible leak on the irrigation pipe ) or too low ?
This feature is key for as I want to avoid unexpected bills and be sure irrigation works properly to have a beautiful garden.
2. I live in France, In the EU version of the irrigation watering system, it is not possible to connect the WIFI gateway to standard plug. An additional adapter is needed, I was lucky to have one spare (but only one, whereas I have bought two irrigation system)
regards,
Baptiste
Thank you
Does the soil sensor override the wifi rigation program?
I don't see an option to water every-other-day. I really need this. If I do Monday-Wednesday-Friday-Sunday it will not skip a day after Sunday and water again the next day (Monday). Please consider an app upgrade to allow every-other-day watering.
How do I reset after a storm? Outside unit says offline
Using the mist option, can you choose water during the day using on/off intervals?
I mean, for example, water every hour two minutes during the day.
Is the UK version working fine on 50Hz power supply?
No
Can the water timer work without the irrigation hub?
Do you have one with multiple hose attachments? I have a lawn to irrigate and only having 1 hose attachment is counterproductive.
I think they are working on this. You can always add a splitter after the device if you want both hoses to be on the same schedule.
@@leonardholmes587 I meant 1 unit with multiple "zone" attachments. This way I can set up the timer for each zone(hose)
i bought last year a bt timer (the green one) but now i can't pair it again. i reset it but in the app appares the message "no device find". what can i do? help me! thx
Seems to be a new problem. I hope they will fix it!
So setting up my rain point for the summer, got all my settings for it to go off. When I go to the Home Screen it shows next irrigation 9/05/22… anyway to change this? I tried deleting the device on the app and it still does it.

Hi, does the water valve work ok with low pressure water from a tank with a pump ?
Need to ensure that the minimum pressure of 0.5 Bar, the normal pressure should be about 2Bar.
If smaller than this, the water will be very small.
@RainPoint Do you know if the soil moisture sensor also actually controls the watering? it would be great if you could pre-set a peak moisture percentage and then the water doesn't come on for that cycle.
Hi dear, Yes, if you first preset the moisture value on the soil sensor, the water timer will stop irrigation when the soil moisture reaches this valve.
@@RainPoint Awesome thanks

How do I set that value for the sensor?
Can I have multiple ones and still just use the manual feature?
Of course, this water timer not only support automatic irrigation also support manual irrigation. Can open the manual irrigation on APP, also can operate on the timer.
What's the use of the wifi socket ?
Serves as a bridge between your WiFi network and the valve, that connects over Bluetooth to save energy. Talking of which I wonder what the battery life is on the valve and sensor.
How do you get the battery tray to open?
Is there a difference between the Yellow model and the green model?
Yellow is Wi-Fi enabled - green is Bluetooth enabled
Does this automatically skip watering when it rains (monitors weather and rainfall events and automatically skips watering if it rains)? Or do you have to manually enter the delay ? Thanks !
You can set the time setting for a rain delay in advance on the RainpPoint app.It then skips watering on rainy days
Where in the app can I do that?
so you can not make a plan that will water the plans according to the sensor?! so what is the point?
Exactly. Misses the point
I must always need an internet connection? What is the mini and max time of working in Minutes?
The minimum time for manual irrigation is 5 minutes and the maximum time is 60 minutes
For scheduled irrigation, the shortest time is 1 minute and the longest time is 60 minutes.
How can I disable a scheduled irrigation if moisture according to the sensor is above a certain point? Why is this not described anywhere? I tried the "tap and run automation": when soil moisture >60%; then watering delay for 24 hours, but it did not always work.
You can set the soil humidity level to stop watering directly through the soil sensor, or through the automation scene in the app, please keep a stable connection between the soil sensor and the timer after setting, if it is an automation scene, you need to add a stable network connection.
1. After finishing connection, press and hold the two buttons for 5 seconds, user can wake up the
program, the LED light will show the current Soil moisture level. 5 LED lights indicate 5 levels of soil
moisture levels: 20%, 40%, 60% 80% and 100% (Volume Water Content).
2. When wake up the LED light, press the Left button, user can set the “Stop Watering Soil Moisture
Level”, default humidity is at 60%. After setting, press Right button or wait for 20 seconds to confirm.

Does it work over internet or only when you are in the same wifi?
As long as the device is connected, you can also operate the irrigation plan when you go out, and there is no restriction to be in the same WIFI. via the Internet.

When connecting, just make sure the gateway and timer are under one WIFI.
How do you add your zip code for local weather etc?
Hi Shane, Turn on location when opening the App, you can add it manually in the App, learn more at service@rainpointus.com
@@RainPoint I figured it out, does it actually adjust or implement any changes if it rains or sees rain forecasted to the program?
@@shanew7361 Hi Shane, you should set the "Rain Delay" program in the App first, then it actually changes if sees rain forecasted to the program
@@RainPoint Do you know if the soil moisture sensor also actually controls the watering? it would be great if you could pre-set a peak moisture percentage and then the water doesn't come on for that cycle.
@@danielhatfield2196 Hi dear, Yes, if you first preset the moisture value on the soil sensor, the water timer will stop irrigation when the soil moisture reaches this valve.
At Amazon, one CAN-NOT buy the wlan-wifi Irrigation-Timer/Watering unit Solo. Only the "irrigation-unit + wlan-hub/gateway" set is available.
This is problematic - because when I NEED to expand, with up-to-4 irrigation-units, then I now have to buy 4x gateway "starter-sets" (at 73€ each) ... and then your solution, is much more expensive, than Orbit's ?better? B-Hyve solution!
They have single valves on AliExpress. I'm looking into this setup and would need two valves myself.
@@Peakabike thanks.
But AliExpres = no Warranty (much too expensive to send to China), China shipping-times (1-2 months), and China custom-fees (EU-Toll etc).
I miss information regarding max. number of watering-programs, possibility to set different watering-lengths, etc.
Like LinkTap shows, a watering-timer is much more than just a remote controlled on/off switch and a Version 1.0 App
I would like to see this too. I may want to expand and this would make that more affordable and less wasteful.
How do we set up an AUTOMATIC rain delay?
@grephenson If you need automatic delayed irrigation on rainy days, you need to set it up in the automation scene, Create Scene→When weather changes→Rainy days, and then select the corresponding timer to delay or turn off the irrigation. If you have any questions about the equipment or need any help, please feel free to contact us (support@rainpointonline.com) and we will be happy to help you!
I cant add this to my Google Wifi. Very frustrating product. I have successfully added other IoT devices to my Google Wifi
If you want to add to google WiFi, you will need to use a device that works on 2.4ghz. Try an old Wi-Fi able cellphone about 4 yrs old or older. The app will work with older phones, and once it’s connected it will show up on the newer phone app or anyone else connected to the app account.
How do I add the hub to Alexa?
It should appear under the "Smart Life" devices in Alexa/Google Home, etc...

I don’t like the fact that there are only three plans. And especially the fact that I cannot choose the frequency of watering (6hrly, 8hrly, every day, once in two days etc). With all the electronics there it should have been really easy to get this done. Every smart bulb has this already. Orbit has this in its most basic of timers. What a let down.
Sorry, the function of each product will be different, currently this product supports daily or any day watering frequency, if you need to water every 6 hours, every 8 hours, you can refer to another product ITV105 (www.rainpointonline.com/collections/digital-hose-timers/products/rainpoint-itv105-mini-digital-sprinkler-timer), if you have any questions about the device or need any help, please feel free to contact us (support@rainpointonline.com) and we will be happy to assist you!
Hi RainPoint, the link you posted gives a 404 error. Also I feel that the functionality I talked about is per basic that is expect to see in a $70 timer
@@shankarh6915 RainPoint ITV105 Mini Digital Sprinkler Timer 1 Zone Hose Water Timer Watering frequency is: every 1 hour to 12 hours or every 1 day to 7 days. You can find the ITV105 on the RainPoint website - WATERING - Digital Hose Timer - Choose ITV105. www.rainpointonline.com/collections/digital-hose-timers/products/rainpoint-itv105-mini-digital-sprinkler-timer
Yup, no WiFi. The expectation is that you don’t lose basic functionality as you advance your products. I mean the chip on the Wi-Fi unit should be well capable of supporting this feature. Perhaps someone will think of enabling this via a software update.
