Regarding video editing, if you are using videos with a large data size, such as 2k or 4k and videos with heavy effects, I have heard from other editors that is better to go with the Desktop and Workstations. But those are much more expensive than laptops. However, I have also heard of professionals using laptops specifically for editing which are cheaper but still high performing. And the advantage for a laptop of course is that it's mobile. As far as the bag, I definitely need one. So it was timely for me. I'm just using a school bag ive had several years ago. The one you showed seems to have plenty of space for what a photographer/videographer would need. P.S. - Valuable tip about the socks. I've spent many hours in wet socks so I can imagine the benefit
Thanks for the input on the computers because I've been going nuts for what feels like years now over it 😂 The popular opinion seems to be build your own desktop. I'm probably going desktop whenever I upgrade but still back and forth between pre-built and building my own. Sort of feel like the only added value in building your own anymore is the pride you get from being able to say you built your own PC.
I personally like the new setup it looks cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing. I would say for you to buy windows since you can’t stop talking about it, and maybe editing would be more efficient on windows but get a desktop instead little bit more powerful
The only obligatory camera bag in this game is the best camera bag you can afford. One day I spent half of my first pay-check in a camera bag, that was 5 years and it still looks brand new. It will still be in pristine condition 50 years from now after, hopefully, a lot of traveling. Peace!
Awesome dude. I’d also consider a camera bag a good investment for anyone at this point even if they don’t have camera gear. There’s just so much room in there to carry whatever you want around 😂
