37227 In The Cab

Hopefully from inside the cab, at the front end, the sounds of this English Electric class 37 "Growler" 37227 become memorable. Travelling in the cab reminded myself, in the good old days of my last Class 37 cab ride in 37105 around Healey Mills yard in 1979 as a boy!!!!
Thank you to the owner of this loco, Graham, for providing the entertainment driving the loco. It became clear to me that these loco owners are up against it in many ways, needing support & investment to continue providing ourselves, as enthusiasts, these wonderful journeys and days out.

Great Railway…loved the galas you put on with a small fee for a Cabride. That little bit extra made it an exceptional day out with 50008 and 37228 cabrides.. are you having a diesel gala in 2024?
