As an introvert who’s about to enter nursing school, I got so excited at the title 😭🤣❤️
I am an introvert as well, and I've been a nurse for 6 years. Currently work in TRAUMA SURGICAL ICU. You can do it!
Me too 😂
Feyza Demir Ooh, good idea. I think I might!
Momma Nurse Wow! That’s awesome! Thank you 😊
@@jesusiskingofmyheart check me out for all things Nursing! Good luck on your journey.
Am I the only one who loves her hair? Like gurl, how can you achieve that volume 🤔
Not the only one!!😻😻
Her hair are really pretty but the volume seems normal to me
literally has just been thinking about how to survive in healthcare as an introvert and this happened 🥺
It's possible. I'm an introvert and have been a nurse for 6 years. Currently a Trauma Surgical ICU nurse
Momma Nurse any advice or tips?
Its totally fine! Most of us arent extroverts in my experience :)
Same!
I'm an introvert & a registered nurse for 1 year.
Me: an introvert nurse
Also me: chooses OR
Also me: applies to a hospital where the labor room, DR, OR and PACU are all in one unit sooo...
PS, I love finding nurse influencers🤗 Stay safe everyone.
I’m such an introvert unless your my friend. I really just like to go to work, do my job and leave 😭
Me too 😭
I love working 3 straight. But I work night shift so it's more manageable and keeps me sane. When I worked day shift I DID NOT like working 3 straight!
P. S. I'm an introvert also so I know how you feel!
Im about to finish my nursing degree at uni , and introverts like myself in nursing really have to push ourselves outside our comfort zone
You'll do awesome I'm sure! Best of luck
As an RN and currently a medical student. I can't help myself watching your videos.
Keep spreading positive vibes!
*"Such a dark note"... Here I was thinking something bad happened!* 🤣
Kevin zoning out into space - 'Can I go back to bed'
I felt that man
What is your nurse to patient ratio?
Hi miki. I just got home from my 12hrs shift. Im q nurse too frm Philippines. We love you from here.
I remember when I did 12 hours, 5 days in a row including 8 hours on a Saturday and I was EXHAUSTED 😩
Been doing 5 12s in a row for the past 2 years at a trauma hospital. X-ray tech , fun stuff
I‘m working 7 days 8hour shifts in a row and I‘m already so exhausted 😫
Ugh. I'm also an introvert and in the healthcare too. But I'm in the hosp laboratory so there is that. I cannot imagine ur job that requires more patient interactions. Good thing u are self-aware and know ur limitations :))
I’m not a nurse but I just love watching your journey! Your personality is so vibrant and positive and I love it. Hugs from Sydney AU! 🇦🇺
I can totally relate to this, when I first started working I used to schedule myself to work 3 in a row to just get it over with, now I dont!!! It's mentally & physically exhausting! 😰
Why I don’t work in the hospital 😅 I work in pedi home health where I work by myself and do calls to dr/cm not very often (maybe 1-2x my 3 days).
"Can I go back to bed" - me almost everyday T-T
ngl i kinda think its great that u forget to vlog, shows that u really live in the moment instead of always thinking of vlogging
were here for you, keep going
Can you make a video how you handle patients’ different attitudes?
I love your videos! I have always dreamed of being a nurse, and watching your videos makes me even more excited to pursue that dream!
You should totally do it!!
entering college and starting my prerequisite is nerve wrecking but knowing the outcome of the journey is where your at. IM DOWN(lol)
You will do great!
I do 3 in a row every week and get 4 days off in a row. It’s amazing.
Lucky hahah :p But still, thank you for what you do!!
ON JAH,She’s sooo beautiful.PERIODT❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️she really inspired me tho 💙
Hahahaha we just did 14 days in a row..like..no offs in between. Legit 14 days straight 🤣😭
And omg can I just say you're so beautiful!
God bless you!!! And more power 💖😘
Is that 3 x 12 hour shifts for the whole week? like 36 hours? It seems so exhausting especially for introverts. I always wondered what it was like or what jobs offered those 3 x 12 schedules. I've been thinking of being a teacher's aid 5 days a week 6.5 x 5 = 32.5 hours/week. I am a qualified teacher
i'm super glad you want to be more authentic with your channel. i personally love when youtubers/influencers are raw and honest with their content, not trying to portray a perfect life because it's unrealistic !
If you get sent home, do you still get paid for the scheduled shift?
I know it would be so much work but please do vlogmas!!
Thank u for talking about being an introvert in healthcare I feel the same way
I feel like you are more social than Kevin. Didn’t think you were an introvert. I do get you! Because I am tired of socialized with ppl too. I need a recharge typically.
Hi, I'm from Brazil and I love your channel! I am a nurse and do residency in urgency and emergency, work sixty hours a week (12 hours a day) from Monday to Friday, here my residence lasts two years! I imagine your tiredness :(
Well I always thought that anyone who works in a hospital doesn’t have to work out because you’re always running or walking in a hospital 🏥
Its good to do back exercice when you are working in a hospital
I got that same box from my work. I’m not gonna say which company for your privacy ! 🤗
I work MedSurg Step Down.. I kinda like 3 in a row bc you're usually more familiar with patients
I can relate with the “tartar” and “compromise” pronunciation..... so glad I’m not the only one
Thank you for the work you do as nurses and Drs definitely unsung heroes...
Same here Ms. Miki... Being an introvert nurse is a challenge but somehow I became a different version of me when I'm on duty.
Wish you all the best Miki. Love you loads. You inspired me, inspite of having a tiring bad day, you manage to put a smile on your face and Kev, is so lucky to have you.
Can you talk about your experiences with shifts and breaks all that? I would love to know!
Interesting, I thought all nurses preferred their shifts all in a row because putting a day off in between isn’t a “real” day off and takes away from a potential 4 day off stretch.
Noooo id die. Second day is always the toughest and by the third.. well let’s just say whatever happens happens 😐
I did nothing this week and it feels so good. Nothing just watch the sunset on the beach.😊😊😊😊😊😊
Damn bro
My sister does 12hr shirts in a row most of the week. I know how you feel and I hope the hospital will have better shifts distribution in the future.
Please tell that what do you do to your dog when u both r working....... please reply i am very eager to know...
I’m a night shift 5pm-5am who only does 12s and it really messes with your body tbh. Like it flips your schedule and when you try to flip it back it’s time to work again..sucks so bad.
LOL on the same friggin boat about “com-promise” 😂
So me Right now .... taking STEM(SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS) strand .... preparing For Nursing Course.... so yeah
THANK LOT FOR THE CONTENT.
In BC Canada, we do two 12H day shifts, two 12H night shifts, then 4 days off... it’s pretty exhausting 😭
Plus, I’m also an introvert and super shy so the struggle is real haha... but I put in my best effort for all my shifts!
When does she starts talking about being an introvert?
Hope next week will be better for you Miki 💗
YOU CAN DO IT!! LOVE YOU FROM THE PHILIPPINES!!
ily guys hope things get bettee for you!
*better
I’m not a nurse but I also work in the hospital, 12hr shift is really draining though I’m just sitting down in the office.
Can I just ask in which medical branch are you working as a nurse - intensive care?
Any advice on getting into nursing school. I’m taking my last classes for pre requisites; all which are science. And I’m just nervous that I won’t get in
I'm introvert and i study medical and people always ask me like how do you interact with the patients and i always was wondering that but i think patients are different
Miki your hair looks perfect!!
you both are honestly the cutest couple ever!! 💜
I am in love with your channel 😍 plus your amazing personality 💕
As a nurse do you have scheduled shifts that’s what my mom had
Miki what sign are you? & Kevin? 😊
Can you pls make a video about what subject you picked because I really need advice thanks love your videos
Love your videos. I need to do this. CT & Xray can be this way too. Especially on the rez. We are so short staffed.
low day in the life vids! which area do you work in now?
Hello there
Are u Originally from Nepal ?
Three 12 hour shifts suck? As a German paramedic I work 4-5 shifts in a row normally with regular six nightshifts every few weeks. That REALLY sucks. 😖😴
you should get this case so that we can be matching- that was so cute
I always enjoy these miki !!
I love doing 3 in a row but as I get older it’s definitely taking a toll 😅 and I totally agree with you and about being an introvert and feeling drained. I actually did a video about this on my channel if you want to check it out 😊
Hiii! from the PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭❤️
This is good for me to understand my oldest and wanting him to go into nursing..
I LOVE U GUYS 🥺!!
Lifted my spirits for the day love yalls energy have a fabulous day ❤️❤️❤️
Do you guys ever interact or talk with the lab technologists?
Love your blogs:) they are so good
Hi i would like to go into the metical field too but i love dogs so much! How do you find a time for ur dog when u spend so much time at ur workplace?!❤🐶
Lolol to being a resident and doing 74279 shifts that are > 12 hours in a row. What’s the big deal with 3 days in a row??
pls tell about NCLEX exam, how i can prepare
I screamed when she starts to drop her phone. 😂 cutie Miki! ❤
so much love and respect for the both of you ♥️♥️♥️sending my love from Abudhabi 😃
Glad to find this channel from Tiktok
Love you miki!!!!
It’s it hard to be a nurse ?
I absolutely love these videos
This is my first video ever watching you guys. I was just wondering is it like a religious thing that he can’t be shirtless or just that he doesn’t feel comfortable.
i love the clam chowder from ivans!!!
10:52 i feel you Kevin
I would rather do 3 days in a row than doing night shifts😬
night shifts are the best, no constantly transporting patients back and from radiology, phone tag with caseworkers, social workers, nursing homes, home health, docs, families, admits and discharges every 10 minutes, staff meetings that have no purpose other than for clinical directors to complain about HCAPS score of 95 that they want to raise to 99 and so on....
I feel like most of the introverts are into medical field. Like me! I meant US.
Great video as always and I thought I was the only introvert.
low key wants a new phone
omg i love your mask on 11:56 where did you get it from????
you're tired but still manage to do this vlog❤️
omg I love your purple champion sweatshirt
Wondering if her dad is Nepali because of her last name.😳😳
I'm Gonna be Honest your Very Preety❤& Would Like to thank you for your Service
Hi Miki, I like your content. I love watching your videos.
