Depends really. Normal can flip against lickitung and cresselia and shadow can flip against poliwrath and whiscash
I'm using the regular one. Totally agreed.
Most people are running such trash IVs on the shadow that a good non shadow is better anyway.

I used a regular not shadow dragonair with a galar stunfisk instead of swampert ant that team was amazing and got a really good raiding on pvpoke

@dantr0n3030 honestly the non stab has left me in terrible situations where theyll live and I can't farm down. Regular earthquake is going to do the same thing to the wiggly anyways especially the shadow

I usually see pvp mons built with low attack and high defense/hp IVs. Does a high attack help this dragonair because it is meant to do most of its damage with the fast move?

I get being ok with going down in the dragonair mirror, but wouldn't it be better to at least try to throw a charge move? If you win CMP, you either get a shield or you win that lead match-up.
I get in trouble if they no shield like I did and get energy.

İf you throw a move and they shield they would be 1 fast move In with aqua tail stored for the potential Nido(quag here )

I used this exact moveset on my Shadow Dragonaire. I tried it out randomly and it just slaps.

It’s not possible, dragonair is spammy but Altaria isn’t,
If it came down to shields, you’d either get no shields, use no shields and lose the matchup, get 1 shield, but use 2 shields in the process, and win barely or lose if you’re even a little low in the matchup, so nope
It also offers different coverage

Body slam beats licki in the 2s
Aqua tail so steels don't wall you. But also prepare to get walled by potential tanky grass types like serp and ferro
I use body slam the most on mine. However having aqua tail is nice for skel and talon flame
