@@RailRelaxation There is a tilting train on route Prague - Zilina - Kosice. Not sure about travel time. Railway line between Zilina and Kosice needs major renovation. Only few sections has been done so far.
We are inside the Vah Valley! Vah....lley! Ironic, isn't it? We pass by the Tatra landscape descending towards Zilina. I noticed that the line needs renovation, already activated on the Bratislava-Zilina route. Furthermore, the Skoda series 362 locomotives have a similar nose to the Italian E.632 and E.633 locomotives. In the past and still today Skoda has churned out all the railway material of the old Czech Republic. Nice line as always. We can see that ZSSK have introduced the new multi-voltage Vectrons which are suitable for all lines with different voltages, whether it is 3Kv or the usual 25Kv for high-speed lines. We can see an evolution of the Slovak lines, just as you say that they have finished the highways near Zilina. I know that a few years ago the area between Zilina and Ruzomberok had a narrow mountain corridor, also thanks to the Kralovan'y lake reserve, and they didn't know (or perhaps there wasn't economic feasibility) how to overcome it. They built viaducts and tunnels, given the accentuated Slovakian orography. Just like for the railways! The Margecany tunnel passes the mountains avoiding the winding course of the Hornad. I don't know if they plan to build more tunnels in the future along the Ruzomberok Zilina route to make it straighter and faster. Well done DAVID!

Un excelente vídeo con imágenes de gran calidad para un trayecto atractivo. En la última década Eslovaquia apostó por una modernización de su infraestructura vial con excelentes vías férreas, carreteras y puentes en las cercanías. Así debe ser el progreso.
