Looks good and pretty simple to tie. Ill try it and tested next week along the Tamiami trail. Last week had no luck with all the dead fish from the freeze.
Oh man, I was wondering if there would be a big kill. Is it real bad? Is it the snook that’s hit the hardest? We had the best luck to the west of the road going down to Everglades city. I got a trip down there in May, really hope the fishing will be okay.
nice guide fly. I can see how snook, tarpon, peacocks, and exotic will attack that fly. pro tip - use smooth long nose pliers and gently squeeze the head to create more of a flat surface for the eyes to stick to. thx for the video.
Sorta a bucktail Deceiver - if you are looking for it at the store, that’s what I would ask for. Probably one of my favorite flies for all around fishing… anything will hammer it - let me know if you have any other questions 🤙🤙
I love it, man. Heading down to the keys next week - I'll have some with me!
Oh man… I’m jealous, heading down there end of February and might try for a quick two day trip next week!! Let me know how it worked out! Go get em!

@Hufius is not as bad as the one a few years ago, but it did some damage.
Glad to hear that it’s not as bad, that one was devastating
@@ranierrentas4818 so did you get to test the fly and get some fishing in on the trail?
@Hufius I haven't hit the trail recently, but i did try the fly around the neighborhoods canals and worked great.
