Not played any of these games, bit I’m curious! Which of these game should I buy first? (Games I like: Brass, Concordia, Gaia Project, Agricola, Great Western Trail, Puerto Rico).
Thank you Rodney for this excellent rules overview. I now have one less thing to do while quarantining and I can’t decide if this is a good or a bad thing.
Great video, thank you. As usual, Rodney's explanation are crystal clear. Besides that, it looks like a great game. And the visuals and components are right up my alley. Hmm, now I really want to play it.
Amazing video! I have the game and its great! Rules are pretty simple, you just have to really specify the goofy rools about revers, and maximum buses etc. You did a great job Rodney! Games I wish to see explained by you is: Wild Blue Yonder Quartermaster General (2nd edition) Twilight Struggle Combat Commander (I know, its a stretch....)
LOL, just played this without watching Rodney’s video. The only thing that we messed up (and thats serious) is that we also assigned the power of an action from left to right, so that a player on the LEFTmost spaces always got the “number of buses” value, and decreasing from there. Made for a super cutthroat game as you could basically nullify other players actions by placing action pawn to the left of theirs. Actually not a bad way to play - but super low scorings. Thanks for clarifying that!
I thought I noticed a flaw in the game. The biggest "Maximum # of Buses" is 5, but the other action rows have 6 spots meaning that they get 0 lines for example. But yeah in a 5 player game the +1 bonus means that the F space can generate a line.
First looking at the board: "This looks like a retheme of Ticket to Ride." A few moments later: "Okay, this is nothing like Ticket to Ride. But now I want Ticket to Ride with Doc Brown's flying time train."
I was wondering if the token placed as a reminder where your line starts is also removed from game at the end of the turn or it is returned to my supply
Are you referring to this? ua-cam.com/video/CKW0tYoIU_k/v-deo.html If so, you would remove the token after the next time you extend your line (since you won't need the reminder after that point).
Hey Rodney! Thanks for introducing this game. This one is going on my wishlist. Rule question.. so the vroom action does not have the "spot penalty" of B minus one and so forth correct?
I'm not really sure how to answer you. The game isn't designed for 2 players, but people certainly do come up with their own ways to try to make stuff like that work.
This looks so fun! I've never heard of it before, immediately added to my wishlist, anyone know what's the price usually? I see it as being 70+usd rightnow
NOTE: In a 3 player game, you only use 4 time stones.
I love how passengers don't really care to which office they go to or to which home they come back to
It's a very carefree society :)
Sounds like every meeple has had a really heavy night in the pubs!
cause they visited the pub way too much, they are the meeples' true home
I still don't understand how a man can be so clear in his explanations.
Thank you for the kind compliment!
@@WatchItPlayed You're the gold standard, Rodney! Keep up the fantastic work, and more importantly, stay safe!
1:58 "People wanna spend their days in the office, evenings in the pub and nights at home"
Ah, the good old days.
Haha too true.
More precisely: It was a decade ago.
ah, classic splotter, making a game about bus drivers
*_THAT HAVE THE POWER OF THE TIME STONE_*
The last thing i expect from a game call bus, is messing with time.
Looks like a great game!
I enjoyed that twist too :)
I love it when you color-coordinate your outfit with the cover art. Adorbs!
I appreciate you noticing :)
Very snackish....
One of the most underrated games ever. Thanks a lot.
Was very excited to bring some more attention to this one.
Hard not to be underrated when it's hardly ever available.
So glad this got reprinted. It should be held in the same regard as Food Chain Magnate, The Great Zimbabwe, Antiquity, Indonesia, and Roads and Boats.
And the reprint is a beaut!
Not played any of these games, bit I’m curious!
Which of these game should I buy first?
(Games I like: Brass, Concordia, Gaia Project, Agricola, Great Western Trail, Puerto Rico).
What a great idea for a game, BTW that joke about stopping the time cracked me up, nice one.
Another super video, cheers!
Thanks for checking it out Darko!
Rodney takes on Splotter!
Any chances we’ll see Food Chain Magnate on here one day?
Sure, if Splotter decides they need to start advertising or if Capstone handles its reprinting. :D
@@AlexTheUruguayan We can only hope.
We'll see!
I saw this game played at a local game store. Thanks, Rodney, for this intuitive tutorial video!
You're very welcome - have fun playing!
You definitely added some character to this video Rodney. Makes going through rules more entertaining and fun. Thank you! :)
Glad you enjoyed this P - thanks :)
Next review I am expecting a behind the back box flip ...
Thank you Rodney for this excellent rules overview. I now have one less thing to do while quarantining and I can’t decide if this is a good or a bad thing.
Fair :)
4:00 - is my favorite moment in this tutorial, because it seems like such a "left field / what in the actual f---" kinda moment. 😆
Right? :)
Looks really fun! What an interesting concept! This is going on the wish list!
I am a simple person I see Rodney has an how to play video I put thumbs up before watching it.
Thanks!
Wow...That shirt fits the game perfectly! This can't be a coincidence!
😉
Good catch :)
This game has an interesting theme, I would like to break space time continous.
Continuously break the continuum.
For once, the most exciting part of the intro isn’t the box flip, but Rodney nailing the pronunciation of the designers’ names.
I did practice a little on that part :)
The set up is like Catan, That should make it an easy pick to bring to the family. I'm in!
Glad you enjoyed what you saw!
Great video, thank you. As usual, Rodney's explanation are crystal clear. Besides that, it looks like a great game. And the visuals and components are right up my alley. Hmm, now I really want to play it.

And as always a great video. 👍
I try :)
@@WatchItPlayed 😊
Looks great, I'm going to buy this game yesterday
You can time travel??!! Awesome :)

I think you just explained why it isn't a flaw :)
I’d love to know where those shelves are from. They’re beautiful!
Thank you kindly. A local carpenter made them for me.
More games need the ability to break the space-time continuum. Can't think of many others. Chrononauts, perhaps?
And underused mechanic!
First looking at the board: "This looks like a retheme of Ticket to Ride." A few moments later: "Okay, this is nothing like Ticket to Ride. But now I want Ticket to Ride with Doc Brown's flying time train."
It's a lot meaner than TTR, I think...
This looks like if Pandemic and Ticket to Ride had a baby
I so want to try this game. Hopefully there will be a reprint so it won't be over a hundred dollars to find a copy! :)
Ah, it must be out of print right now.
Super fun game.
Very Nice rule video
Thank you kindly.

Correct. It's based on your actual number of buses.
This looks like a fun game that my son will enjoy, too. One question, though - what makes it a minimum of three players?
You can play it with two, but it loses a lot of its tension and is very unforgiving. The design is really meant for more.
Randomly pick the first player? I liked it when you made a joke about that
The game seems to be pretty interesting, although that cover did NOT make me expect that kind of game. It looks way more like a child/party game.
Yeah, certainly not a party game, is it? :)
I have trouble finding this game for sale in Canada or at least in a place that ships to Canada (and if possible charges in CAD$)..!
I'm having trouble too, the only store/website I can find is 401 Games but it seems like shipping could take a while due to the Canada Post delays :(
Sorry for the challenges there - keep an eye out, this title is still in publication.
Maybe the buses Got some help from the magic School bus
A good theory :)
Is this a different version of let’s make a bus route then kind of? Never could find that game in the United States.
Nope, those are very different games :)
Seems different. I love "Let's Make A Bus Route" though. Someone brought it to me from Japan--what a great game.
Bought the game as a consequence of this video, just saying
Thank you for sharing that! I hope you have a great time playing.
Wow!!!
Could we play at 2 players ?
I'm not really sure how to answer you. The game isn't designed for 2 players, but people certainly do come up with their own ways to try to make stuff like that work.

$70 seems right. I think MSRP is $90.
Glad you enjoyed!
6:11-6:13 - Rodney trying to be dramatic.
TRYING? I'm expecting an academy award for this performance!
First yes
Um, Rodney, I think you forgot to mention how people get points.
You'll find it explained here: ua-cam.com/video/CKW0tYoIU_k/v-deo.html
