I learned these from Xavier on his channel a while back and they are both pretty ballsy. Out of three attempts, I've only pulled off the super bluff only once, but it lead to one of the best reactions I ever got, by FAR. The finer details Xavier adds to sell the moves are absolutely crucial. I'm very happy to see this video, because I hadn't experimented with these passes in a long time. I am inspired to try them again. Great video, Spidey! These are perfect for some of the tricks you've taught on this channel.

Genius! The Bluff Pass is so good and seemless, it became the control that I use the most often, and I think that the best controls are those where everything is super clean and fair!!! Is's just not making the spectator think that they saw something fishy or they want to look at the top or bottom card...
    This control is awesome

Since I already follow Spade, I know his teaching on the Bluff Pass from his „CHANEL“. But I think this is the first time he teaches it with the subtelty of lifting half the pack for dribbling. ❤️ Oh, and of course your tips to gettng the second card to the top is really valuable.

I'll try this at the beginning of the ambitious card routine instead of the marlo tilt. That way the spectators can put their card in themselves to begin the trick.

I've found on the Super Bluff pass, asking a question as I'm replacing the non existent card diverts their attention from the deck and makes it seem more casual.

I remember watching this bluff pass in your livestream earlier I think with Josh Janousky but this one taught in detail with Xavier I liked a lot. (EDIT: It was not in the livestream with Josh but was in the livestream with Ekaterina)
Especially that dribble subtlety at last is so deceptive that it even fooled me when I saw Xavier perform it the first time even after seeing in your livestream earlier.
I"ll be controlling it to second position and then by milking would position it first. That is easier for me and I liked that you demonstrated at last. Also I"ll be I think replacing my double undercut wherever I use it by this as it looks more deceptive to me. But performing experience only later would tell me if it fits me more or not than double undercut

I learned a card trick over 20 yrs ago but can't remember it. Maybe you know of it. 52 cards (full deck) laid out in columns (3or4?) face up, (like playing Solitaire.) Spectator is asked to select a card but only indicate which column their card is in, not the card itself. Mage scoops up the columns, picking up the column indicated 1st, or 2nd or 3rd? (also can't remember that), stacks them in hand face down, lays them out again, solitaire style, asks which column "their card is in now?" and repeats once more, I think. Then cards picked up again, same way, and turned over one at a time to the 24th or 25th? card would always be the card they chose. This may not be clear enough, but I know if you know this trick you'll know which one I'm talking about. I would love to remember how to do it.

I'm with you Spidey--I'm not sure I'll ever get comfortable with the ultimate (no card) bluff pass. If I had big beefy hands like Xavior, maybe, but with my skinny fingers, I'm not sure I could hide the fact my hand is empty--especially if there is more than one spectator. Thanks for introducing me to Xavior. I will definitely subscribe.

You could also use a little “banter” and say something like. “I bet you think I somehow managed to put your card on top.” Show top card. “Nope.” And bury the card, leaving theirs on top.

The bluff pass with a card cover makes me sad. My favorite thing about a pass is that it's so absurdly deceptive because it looks like nothing happened.
Spectator makes a choice. The deck comes together. You've done nothing to affect order.
With either of the two options in the end, you've done something. One is a cut. One is a shuffle. Both are very visual places where you could have impacted deck order (and did in this instance).
Without the card cover, it takes more nerve and more practice with angles to avoid flashing. But, there's no extra work to get the card in place. Everything happens with the single slight that feels right to the spectator. If this isn't in one's comfort zone, I'd recommend getting away from the spread pass and finding one of the many other passes (the spread pass is an "easy" one to learn as it naturally provides cover). Work up the comfort to the no card bluff pass.
