yeah the band have a great set up there. we have an office in there as well where we can do day to day work plus a full recording studio where they record their albums.
That's not really particles, but electrons. X-ray tube produce a stream of electons, and electrons carries an electric charge. The sensor of your camera convert light (photons) to electricity (electrons), but a powerful stream of electrons hitting the sensor generate electricity that is interpreted as an image.
Drums and cabs all hired locally. We tour the consoles because after aus we flew and did some shows in asia so it just meant we had the same set up each day. WOuld rather be safe and sure that we have the correct rig with us rather than fly in delayed on a show day to a console that doesnt work with our set up because they forgot a giga ace card or its on the wrong firmware etc. Happened to us at a fly show in the summer and lucky we had enough time before the show to fix it, but it was only fixed around 10 mins before our changeover so it was close haha

The white dots and the flash you saw on the phone during the X-ray are the particles hitting the sensor. It’s like static noise.

Is it not cheaper/ less stress of them going missing to hire mixers/ stage boxes over there? I guess drums and cabs get hired?
