That screw,
Give it a couple of days and you'll find it in one of those nice new expensive tractor tyres 🤣😂🤣
Another great video mr. P. You would get hell from Mrs. P. For taking mother in law’s Paton set 👍👍👍
A very good Sunday morning
Good Evening Ian, If nothing else you can have a game of cards, Or fix them to your trailer and then you would have yourself a mobile office just a thought 💭,🚜⭐️👍👌🎅🤶🎄
The washers go on the outside,I have the same sort of table first table my mum had when she got married,I found the sale receipt after she died ,Home and Collonial General utility table £3 10 6
Great video - we had similar table and chairs in our first house, washers definitely in the right place now
Excellent video Ian. That was a brilliant idea gave the tree team your old booster pack so you can upgrade to new one 😂
@@MarkShesrer78 Haha, my old booster pack is nearly new too 😄
👍👍👍 🇮🇪
Thankyou for sharing your time with us loving your vlogging 👍👍
Lots of things to do coming up at T'other Farm then. I'm sure you've costed it all out, Chemical & Fertiliser Store, Washing and wash down. Famous Dave is going to be busy.
very good video as always 👍❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Did you check the tow bar for the missing screw and putting the Land Rover in the shed would help to keep yer bums dry.!!!
The thing with hiring contractors is they have other customers as well, so it's just one more thing to add in to when you can spray. If the weathers right you can just hitch up and go, provided the cherry picker will start. I had a light bulb to change this morning, but someone had helped the Mrs. pick fruit yesterday and the safety thingy would click in, now I didn't fancy getting near to the top of the steps and them spread their legs. So had to take said steps apart. The the bulb holder fell apart, a run to the shops bumped into a mate so coffee. Two hours later the build lit up. now I'm aving trouble punching the right keys, so sod it Bye
👋🏼😎
17:45 great content again
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Ian. I suggest you talk to your neighbours and see if you can't come to an arrangement whereby you buy it and rent it out to them or hire your and it to them when you're not using it. This would offset the cost and ownership would be undivided.
Well! Never a dull moment .🤥sorry about the tree tower er machine .
Hope this is it ? . 😉
Like the chairs and table . I am a second hand nutt . Love old stuff not knew .😁
As for farmers farming , all for it .
What do you have to loose !!?? 🥴🙄🤔Right on with it 😵💫 ok dont loose your mind over . Have some fun .😉

Life should be fun, otherwise what’s the point 🙂
@FarmerP 👍
Good video Mr, P looks like you will miss Reg a lot.
@@irvenrathburn9421 Indeed, it’s learn what I can while I can Irven 🙂👍🏼
You could always get your brother trained up on tractor work and he could help you with the crop side.
Evening Ian
That screw is definitly going to find a tyre sometime in the future,
I think your sit down would of been short lived with that screw protruding ouch😮😮😮😂😂😂
Could the picker trouble be low revs not keeping the alternator working. Stood on tick over using power to control it might be draining the 12v system.
@@smallsuffolkfarmer Alternator was shorting out.
@FarmerP that doesn't help.
You could talk to your neighbours and see if you can't come to an arrangement whereby you buy it and rent it out to them or hire yourself and it to them when you're not using it. This would offset the cost and ownership would be undivided.
Going exec, wouldn't have believed it 😁
@@miketaylor8777 I’m thinking of upgrading one chair to a leather office jobby soon, so I can feel important 😄😄👍🏼😄
I'd recommend a good water supply for the Spraying at t'other farm like a Rain Water Harvest system for storing water save time rather than filling with a house pipe,
@@peterobey491 It’s on the list of stuff I would need Peter. We’re just going through the costing it all out process at the moment.🙂👍🏼
👍
Ian that chair which you said might need adjustment, perhaps it should be kept for a difficult meeting at its “new office “.
@@jeremiahkearney5191 The hot chair 😄
Are you sure Cereal is worth it on small number of Arces. Could you rent the fields out or contract the whole operation more profitably
Probably, yes Fred, But I want to at least try and do something with it myself while i still can.
@FarmerP yes you are right. More satisfying for you. Will be away for 4 weeks on a cruise so will miss you. Lotd to catch up on wgen we get back. Tbe only good side to retiring. No mor ing eve ing feeding etc. But i miss my cows. Happy christnas to you and yours.
@@freddeeks5496 Thanks Fred, Same to you sir.
I think I would rent the land let someone else have the hassle I am sure you can find enough to do without it the sprayer is on going problems with mots and your training not worth the hassle
😀
😎💙👍
I did a man's garden stood in the tops that had previously been topped with a chainsaw at about 12 ft untill the trees parted and I went down between dodgy still knackered hips n knees MRI due and injection in my back at 57
@@davidkellet1006
Working at height. The HSE love it.
@@FarmerP, we didn’t (probably still don’t, but I retired 3 years ago…). I used to get bored with lecturing folk about safe work at height, when every contractor seemed to know someone who had been badly hurt in a fall, but it wouldn’t happen to them “ because they were careful”. TBH your tree business looks like you all take reasonable/sensible precautions - I am sure someone could pick fault with the smaller detail in your paperwork, but in my mind most of the safety benefit comes from thinking things through in advance, and taking time to “stop and think” when a job needs a change in approach from that which was originally envisaged.
Whilst paperwork is an inevitable outcome of the need to demonstrate you have considered risks and suitable control measures, it isn’t the bits of paper that make sure you and your team go home every day uninjured! 🙂
Hi Ian. Do you need flashing becons on the new vehicle when the guys are up in the trees.
@@paulcahill9788 Yes, we need to get it up a bit nearer to chapter 8 regs.
If you want to find a lost screw, put new tyres on your car.
Does the cheery picker need some strobes on it for roadside work?
@@davidanderson7776 Yes.
How are you going to find time for this extra spraying and spinning artificial, plus storing chemicals. Why not invest in a decent loader for the Case to save taking the 695 over to the other farm. Perhaps the chair with the rogue screw was for un-welcome visitors.
@@roba4297 😄
Great vlog farmer p , will you build and office on the the side of the barn to keep it all separate so you dnt get dust an the like over all the stuff
@@rogerbarnfield5913 That’s the plan.
And I can hear misses p going I want that new kitchen but he is spending all the money
Hi Ian did I miss something I didn't know about your dad giving you the farm my wife is in hospital so not really up to speed 😢
@@MalcTyler Yes, dad gifted me the farm the week before the budget. It was as if he knew.
@FarmerP 👍
@@FarmerPI understand why you're father gifted you the farm for tax purposes but does that mean you will have to pay your brother out in future or did father not like your brother and gifted him nothing 😂
@
What my brother got is his business John. I wasn’t gifted the whole farm.
@@FarmerP fair answer Mr p 👏
What happened to the caravan.
Turn the chairs over I wouldn’t want to sit on a wet chair
Where is there Hi vis outfit .

rats, now I have no excuse to replacing the bolt on our kitchen table. Mine is not upside down at waist height, ughh.
I've done a better upholstery jobs than the factory too, stuff is t quality checked anymore.
great video has always farmer p ian and Mrs p mother in law p Mikey mille baby pullen Sam emma Abbi and holli and miss biskit miss crumble miss gypsy miss pepper and miss pickle miss Muppet 👍
The lack of basic mechanical knowledge among the general population never ceases to amaze people with a modicum of common sense
There is no doubt that working with chemicals can cause health problems later in life
Where we're another dei thing id suppose, someone not trained.
Don’t believe that you bleat on, given your hatred of sheep - maybe you do a lot of mooing…😂
would dad been better off passing the farm to one of your daughters?
@@russellpetrie119
None of them want to farm it Russell. Not yet anyway.
@@FarmerP as in avoid two lots of 20 percent they lease the farm to you
@@russellpetrie119 Tax dodgers!
Go one step further buy a firt spreader dont rent it out with my experience people that rent ground don't have the same care or consideration for the land like you would and take for everything they can I would also go down the farm sale route rather than buy brand new
Hi FarmerP, The New Xmas Number 1 ua-cam.com/video/mQrvmY5s2mo/v-deo.htmlsi=M90UDWZpy6PQytjs
U will need chemical store as well if tractor hasn’t air con. ,??? If windows door seals don’t work like they used to u will nee spray suit. Amount of ground bud contractor way forward u know ur costs that way too
@@richardabley7178
Chemical storage won’t be a problem, we can build that, and the tractor is well sealed air con with filters, it’s not just chemical but liquid fertiliser applications I’m looking at. Granular fertilisers are getting a bit pricey.
Nptc really did screw everyone over by changing the way the licensing worked. We always got told it was like a driving licence, once you had it was done 😏😏. Think that chair was for the red tractor man🫢😆😆
@@casto- I had to re take a load of mine when they changes the system over. NPTC put a tiny advert in the Horticultural weekly giving folks 6 months to transfer their qualifications to the new standards. Most missed it, lost their certificate qualification and had to retake. I passed ALL my original qualifications with four exams, I had to take 12 to get back to the same standard. They split 4 courses into 12….. And made a load of money out of it…. The sneaky money grabbing Bas###ds.
