I auditioned 6 different characters for Halloween Kills and Ends! I was so close to getting my dream role flew back-and-forth from North Carolina to Detroit. David Gordon green was pretty cool to meet.
My family actually knew the producer before he passed away in Syria, but I didn’t wanna name drop it but being American Syrian actor was an honor to audition for these movies.

Good interview. I didn't care for Jamie personal opinions. I only want the facts regarding the movie, nothing more. The movie was trash juice and hopefully no one makes any more versions of it.
This movie was such a letdown. I was sooooo disappointed.
Halloween Ends one big dissapointment. MM gets killed by slitting his throat, slitting his wrist. Then they throw him in a crusing machine. Does not kill that many and is almost not be seen in this movie

@@palacemidas I’ll explain as to why:
1. The marketing campaign around the movie seems to be heavily focused on Michael and Laurie’s last stand, rather than the movie as a whole. Ever since Halloween Kills, there’s been a tonal shift in the promotion material where they seemed to be more focused on how the movie will perform box office wise, rather than be proud of the story they’re telling.
2. The review embargo has yet to be released, and we are days away from the release of this film. The Halloween reboot, or Halloween Returns as I like to call it, had its review embargo lifted weeks before the movie was released, which shows the confidence overall in the quality of the movie. It’s not a direct indication of a bad film, but it’s definitely a troubling sign.
3. There’s a review I read online that someone posted who had seen a test screening of the movie over the summer and they called it an absolute mess. Andi Matichak and new comer Rohan Campbell were completely awful and the review labeled the film and jump scares to be very predictable and stating that Laurie doesn’t have a large role until the final act. The review is from worldofreel.com and I implore you to look it up and decide for yourself whether they’re claims are true, or not. I’m inclined to think so, as it matches the overall synopsis of the film. I’m still going to watch this movie the day it comes out, being a huge Halloween fan myself. I just have a bad feeling it’s going to suck.
@@palacemidas I’m a Halloween purist. I love the classic and watch it almost every year, and I really enjoyed Halloween (2018), but ever since Halloween Kills, it seems everyone involved is rushing to just end this thing and cash in on the hype and success of the first film. I really hope that’s not the case, but I have a bad feeling about Halloween Ends.
It might still be good u never know.

Aaaaand, she brings up Kanye in this interview and says that is what the movie is about. Good grief. I have always been a fan of the franchise but have no desire to see this one. Jamie brought the "me too" movement into the last one but I saw it anyway and it was a bad movie. The more I see about this one, the more determined I am to avoid it. I wanted to like it!
