I see her point. however so much has been missed on this new 3 movie.. no more or much of the mystery that surround Michael and her.. I had wished the continued but from the ending of part 8,, where Michael was taken to the morgue and the medical examiner had unzipped the bag to find a burnet Michael Myers. and then Medical examiner screams in horror.. not expecting to find Michael Myers alive.. David Gordon Greens, version.. it was good, but like I said, it still misses the point from the other films.. it did not have the mystery or suspense like the other films.. its better than RZ's version.. if Michael story/halloween is to be ever told again.. its gonna have to have.. some real stories behind it.. something that most of us perhaps never knew or even thought of.. for the most part.. pick back up from part 8 and go forward.. that is my take.

Yes, I hope that Jamie Lee and Lindsay reunite for a long awaited "Freaky Friday" sequel. The 20th year anniversary will be coming up next year!
It’s been almost 20 years…Lindsey could have an 18 year old pregnant daughter, thus making her a grandma in freaky Friday 2😂 that would be interesting to see!!
@@rodriguezvanessa8583 That's not what JLC meant (She's doesn't want to be a great-grandma). She meant that Lindsay would become JLC's body and do grandma stuff, while JLC would become Lindsay's body and do new mom stuff.
That's one way to do the film. Another would be too have a teenage grand-daughter and there's a 3-way bodyswap. If the movie was made this year I would have suggested Sadie Sink but she'll be closer to her mid 20s by the time this film gets done.

how about betty davis,joan crawford etc. they gave their all esp. when it came to suspense movies long before Jamie came a long. Having Tony Curtis for a dad etc. made things happen for her. She learned her craft well. All good things come to an end. Her being who she is and not demeaning herself with plastic surgeries galore matters to a lot of actors. Talent training and doing your job well matters.

I have loved her in every movie she was in. It may not be everyone's favorite, but I adored her in Blue Steel. She made sooo many good movies. My father who watched her father's movie watched a Fish named Wanda so many times I think he knew every line in the movie, God rest his soul. Thank you so much for bringing mental health to light✌️

Having halloween ending has me emotional.. I grew up watching every halloween movie with my mom. It was our movie/movies.. she passed away and now it's ending.. I guess all good things come to an end.

THE FOG ..overall I’m glad she decided to say farewell to Laurie Strodes… it was time to move on to other characters..but this was her first introductory role in movies and when she decided to hang it up.. she’ll be remembered for this franchise in that scared us since 1978… Respects to JLC…

I think the reason why this project meant a lot to her and has been emotional isn’t just that it’s the final time she’ll play Lori. I think it’s because this is (in spirit) what she wanted to do but the studio would not allow her to do with Halloween H2O.

I applaud Laurie, Jamie Lee Curtis part in the new movie.. and the last 2 of the films.. they were neat and interesting and very scary.. but as I have said before, this movie moves on its past.. its a huge story. and for decades fans at the theatres have enjoyed what was put on the screen. just remember when the first was made when John Carpenter and Debra Hill first halloween, movie was made.. they had no intention of a second.. but because it was so awesome and was hit, they made a second film.. but then basically sold over to trancas internation.. Malek Akkads father whom was the financier and new owner of the movie. he In visioned a story to the character past.. so working the John Carpenter, he went with what John had intended for the character. and he built a story and a back ground, and reveals small amounts of the Michael Myers story / history.. as well as the Jamie Lee as Laurie Strode character.! you know of course the story has to come alive some where and with some time,.. this franchise took off so well. and it made millions of fans. Mr. Akkad basically was the life line to the story.. and the franchise.. I am surprised that this has ended again. so much less than the films we all knew and love to watch.. I dont mean to sound offending.,, people loved the characters and how well they were connected. sadly now this is over. its better than the RZ's installments.. which was totally not the same as the franchise. I thank David Gordon Green and his team for their hard work, but like I said.. his installments misses so much of this character. and its history basically has been pushed aside. so now.. what of the franchise? after 3 films and in 4 to 5 years of work.. where does it go now.. If I were Malek Akkad. the owner of the franchise and owner of these character and movies.. I would persue someone who can spin some life back into the older chapters.. and pick up where the originals left off. you can fix and or bend a few things to sharpened the story.. and give back the past stories the credit they deserve....
I am thinking since part 8 was a left off point.. why not start there, the mystery of Michaels rage and his origins of powers.. how does he survive so much.? what is his force behind him..need Loomis students to find new facts about him.. some more of the smiths grove stories.. perhaps some doctors who were with dr wynn on the origins Michaels past. and why they studied him.. part 6 was good, a little too dark.. but some of the mystery still could have been cloaked in darkness..I would find someone who can make it interesting again. and suspenseful, and mystery seems to be the best way of going.. that is my take. on the new films.. but the older seem to be what is missing. and sadly.. dont know if that will ever change.. Malek are you listening?
