Thanks … this was entertaining. I lived in Melbourne (well outer east) from age 4 to age 23…went to live in Sydney for 2 years, then back to far outer east until I was about 34… there’s a lot to appreciate about Melbourne and it’s culture.
2022 - I love your energy and gestures about Melbourne. My daughter is working there now and has the best Melbournian employer. Not coming back. Melbourne is my favorite city in Australia and I love its diversity. You are right, food in Melbourne is amazing and I would say comparable or even better than Singapore. The price is not cheap but portions is big. In CBD which is competitive, can get good cheap eats. I love the Winter and can always see snow in Mt Buller. There is no other place that I would love as a 2nd home.
Got a job offer with 105k in Melbourne. I am getting the same offer in India too. So totally confused about whether I should come or not. Please suggest
So normally would be December to March - Summer March to June - Autumn June to September - Winter September to December - Spring Temperatures vary so much because Melbourne being Melbourne, but I don't recall the lowest being lower than 0c but the highest can certainly go higher than 40c.
I liked the way you represented the topics. My office workshop location will be Laverton, could you please suggest which is the best place to stay where I can get an affordable home and should be safe as well.
stumble upon your video while researching australia, how have you been, why did you stop uploading? love your energy and from what you mentioned i assume you are a doctor as well, any suggestions on which hospital to apply to? i dont mind suburbs or outside of melbourne as long as i can take the public transport within 1 hour to melbourne, thanks a bunch
Hello! Sorry life got too busy but now I have got more time! I relocated to Berlin so not too sure about how it is like in Melbourne anymore! Have you relocated to Melbourne?
Hmmm funny thing is I haven't really seen too many spiders like what they say about in your shoes and stuff. I did encounter a spider in my balcony that I think was a funnel web - aka deadly. Finish the whole bottle of spider spray spraying at it from a distance and safe to say that it was dead, dead
I think it is super immigrant friendly. Yes you do get bad apples everywhere in the world but I would say my time in Melbourne has been fantastic. In terms of entrepreneurs, I think it's pretty easy to set up things compared to many countries in Europe and East Asia where you have to submit a thick file of paperwork. There are many likeminded people if you know where to look
Melbourne with the most skyscrapers in the CBD area, yes I agree but in the whole city, no, Sydney wins as Sydney is spread out; you’ll find skyscrapers in (will exclude North Sydney as one can consider it as inner-city), Chatswood, St Leonards, Parramatta, Homebush, Rhodes, Wentworth Point, Liverpool, and more. These suburbs are their own cities.
Daniel Andrew's ruined Melbourne. It went from pretty over-regulated, full of nanny state rules, to a total authoritarian shithole. Traffic is terrible, public transport is clunky, there's a racist undercurrent and can be quite aggressive at times, and healthcare is sub-standard.
If u had lived in other places you would appreciate how great Melbourne actually is! You should move away if u hate it so much, definitely don’t need the kind of attitude in Australia’s most livable state
@@shontellepayne551 It's called the wet season. Melbourne never gets enough rain in summer, and no sun and cold all winter. Beautiful clear skies in the Queensland dry season.
@@NoTaboos I have lived in both states, so I am very well aware.. Melbourne does in fact get more blue sky sunny days than QLD. Yes, of course it gets cold being a southern state..personally I would prefer that over 6 months of rain (wet season) which is exactly why I moved to Melbourne from QLD! Not to mention - culture, arts, sport, entertainment, fashion, food, coffee ect…Melbourne has MUCH more to offer! Perhaps u will realise that once u move (like most ppl do)
@@shontellepayne551 Not in Townsville, where I lived for 5 years and am going back to. More days of sunshine than any major city in Australia. I notice you didn't mention nature and landscape, which is just about zero in Melbourne. I couldn't care less about coffee or fashion or sport. Culture and art and food is where you find it. You probably think graffiti is art.
thank u! im planning to go to australia for college so this is really helpful :)
Sydney is great, I am there now for same reason. Sydney is one of the only Australian city’s where you can survive using transit and not owning a car.
Did you move in the end???

Agreed!! I have just moved to Sydney myself and ditto!
WOW great vid! Thank you for taking the time to make this vid!
Thank you so much!

Thank you!! I will. Thanks for your support!
My guy just smacked me with a whole lotta charm… that’s gonna leave a mark
Thanks!
love your animated narration
Thank you!
This just made me realize that my small town is twice as expensive as Melbourne 😵
Where do you live???
@@aarongonetravelling Park city UT. the average home costs $1,540,000 in 2022 here 💀
Californians are buying everyone out 😢

do not come. indians stay off
So where did you end up choosing? Just wondering!
u give off good vibes, good luck
thank you so much!
Love this “it’s always Melbourne” hahaha
hahaha even until now that I have relocated away from Melbourne, it's still Melbourne for me.

great video mate !
Hey Shiwa! Glad that you enjoyed the video mate!
Love your channel 🤩 keep going 🤘 but do you get money from UA-cam !?
Nope! Not currently.
CBD has way too much tourist these days, and something about the pandemic's made it worse and generally there is less courtesy and public etiquette.

Great video but u should compare prices and public transport to other Australian states!
Melbourne is a winner! ( I’ve lived in 4 states )
oooooo that's a very good topic. I think people would be really interested to know. Prices have gone up the roof...
Good one Aaron!
Thanks Mukund!! Glad that you enjoyed the video!
There's not much bad thing about it 💖 do you prefer living outside the city or in the city?
In the city!
Is it immigrant friendly? And how's it for entrepreneurs!?
I think that question is answered pretty thoroughly in the video.

Melbourne is only getting these recently, Box hill, Dandenong, Frankston, Moonee ponds, Essendon, Glen Waverly.
I definitely didn't know that. But I certainly agree with the phenomenon of Australian suburbs being their owns cities.
❤❤❤

what about the spiders?
Haven't seen too many of them!
Your talking about modern Melbourne it was a different city years ago and not so. many existentialist wannabe yupp
Are there many bugs in Melbourne
I haven't seen that many myself!
Great video! We should go for brunch someday :))
I can see that you appreciate me. Let's both fork out 25-30 dollars for a luxurious brunch after this mess
trust me, you dont want snow lol
hahahahaha grass is always greener on the other side yeah?
Unlivable between June and October.
why
The cold, the wind, the rain and the lack of photosynthesis. Completely agree
The fuck ….didn’t know bout skyscrappwr
Melbourne is 100% ugly. I've lived here for 17 years, so I know. Can't wait to escape to Queensland.
Move to Vancouver
Hahaha enjoy the ‘beautiful’ rain ALL summer in QLD 😂
