The problem is that the knock offs do what people want. Play the games. krikzz's options are what people should be going for, as he is the original creator, but the prices for the official products (on the rare occasion they are actually in ****ing stock) are far more than is acceptable given the ease of emulation these days. Also bullshit that having all those games at your fingertips stops people trying them. A game with a good reputation is always going to be played.
I have the everdrive gba, you really struck a chord with the devaluation that comes from having a whole lot of games preloaded and ready to go. Its a really subconscious effect, but very very real. Sadly numbing something that should have no downsides.
It's interesting how powerful the psychological effect of devaluation is when you've got tons of games at your disposal. It's not only because you didn't pay for them. The same effect applies to my Steam library for example, where I've got dozens of games I've barely touched. The scarcity of yesteryears meant that you gave each game that you got proper attention since you didn't have as many new options at once. Of course a lot of games back then where still overpriced trash and a high cost didn't award them absolute value. The classics are still good even if you download a cheap digital copy, but a rubbish game won't become better just because you paid for a genuine cartridge. Still the limited choice and the act of handling physical objects makes the experience feel more tangible. And if you have to work to get your hands on a genuine article it will probably feel more precious. So as a solution of sorts I've learned to focus on a couple of games at once - and I don't buy every slightly interesting game at every Steam or eShop sale lmao. By giving attention to just a few games at once and also trying to finish them gives the experience more value.

Man, I love Krikzz products. I have an EverDrive for my GBA, NES, and Genesis. Definitely will pick one up when I score my next GBC Light. Love the comedic break with the bike, perfect.
I've always thought about using emulation more often than real hardware, but for me personally, using real hardware will always be unique and the go to for me. There's something so special about the tangibility of slotting the cartridge into the Gameboy and flicking the switch on. I think this is why I had to get myself the GBA SP 101 model and the real cartridges for games I want. It's such an investment over simply playing it for free on my laptop, but for some reason it's worth it for me, and I'm enjoying the hell out of this system.

actually built a backlit gameboy color about 2 weeks ago. when i put the order in, I also picked up an everdrive gb x7. let me tell you, its great. loving every second of it. I commented about having done this, when i built it but I guess you never saw it, very interesting to see that you put out a review right after I did it lol. keep up the great videos man, Love your content!
I struggled with choosing which GB Everdrive to get, the X3 is much more affordable, but with the save states of the X7 while playing on original hardware is SO AWESOME!! Highly recommend it as well. To the point about each game not getting your attention, I split up my roms into folders to limit my attention to only like 1 page of games at a time, ie Pokemons/RPGs/action/short gameplay stuff like that. Beautiful job as usual Elliot, love your vids man!
I totally agree with you. having all the games at the tip of your fingers has a big affect demising the exp of each game. I know when i was younger i just wanted all the games i could get my hands but now a days i realize all the god games i played but really missed out on. for anyone out there thinking about going the rom route. try to give your self some breathing room between games. you will enjoy them better in the long run.
here's the thing, krizz's isn't as original as people like to assume, mainly the snobby people. this comment isn't meant to bash nor praise chinese manufactures at all, because i think they are absolutely important and are great, and are obviously the most important aspect of gaming culture now days without people realizing it, serioiusly, you remember seeing all those posts on social media and reddit of people making "RIP" posts about their beloved consoles? well those don't really exists anymore these days because the boys in china have literally expanded their arsenals to allow us around the world to purchase every single component of ANY thing we need to repair, fix, and modify our systems lol something you know was impossible to do not that long ago.. either we'd have to part out a perfectly good system, find a broken one, or we were out of luck. now days we're able to not just repair but modify our shit to our heart's desires with new backlights and a ton of other things. China is important, people love bashing on it because they lack the knowledge of how much they actually improve our lives, by just associating it with lame things instead. but you know what? those lame things are just for the people that are being cheapasses and don't want to pay much. pay a little more and get a nicer product, pay a lot more and trust me you'll love the selection of products you can find. i've done business manufacturing in china for years and i'll tell you that you can get any quality of things made over there, the problem is most Americans don't want to pay much at all so in return they get a product that reflects that.. can't blame them for not wanting to pay much for costs, all of us would do the same lol. apple, sony, microsoft, etc, they all do the same thing but pay a lot more instead and guess what? we get top tier quliaty products from them because they paid a lot more to china and they get a quality product. MOST companies don't tho, and thats where we get the lower quality product from. The thing is , china doesnt make knockoffs to simply do it, most people want a solution for so many things but it either doesn't exist or costs to much for them to afford, and so the brilliant thing is that china reverse engineers a ton of things (which is really fucking hard to do, difficult is putting it lightly) and puts it into different brackets to help us attain that product. things like flash carts, they offer the top quality ones, but a lot of people honestly don't want to pay more than ten or twenty bucks, china see's that and makes a product to fit that price bracket, and for some fucking reason, people thing and assume that it's the only quality that they can make lol.. you just paid $7 for your flash cart, and you commplain?! lol noooo.... pay a little more and you'll get that quality youre looking for, it's not rocket science people! don't try to complain or talk smack about the lackluster flash cart that you bought for the price of a lunch, it cost a price of a lunch! if you want better specs and reliability i know of three you can pay more for that will give you that! you say you don't want to pay that much? well guess fucking what lol ugh anyways great content elliot i'm glad that you can understand this complex type of situation and hope you can expand on this topic, if you had any questions or would like to make a video covering this topic more feel free to reach out bro! love your work, keep it up!
Great video Elliot - captured all the contentious points well. I agree with your reaction to 'squeeze the Game Boy' - a brilliant time-saving way to switch games, but was a weird sensation the first time I discovered it!

The originator of the Everdrive had to put a lot of effort into it's creation, so must recover costs etc., whereas the Chinese one is a copy of that work. But, at £142 vs £30, it is clear why people would be tempted to go for the Chinese one, even if it does lack a lifetime warrantee.
I also suspect it could be a way to control demand. China can easily have a million unit made and not care about cost. Everdrive might have them produced by batches of 2500 units which bring up cost but also reduces the risks of being stuck with 500 000 units that aren't selling. Everdrive is higher production cost and higher profit margin per unit but at a lower demand VS China's cheap mass produced product that are sold by hundreds of Ebay and Aliexpress sellers.
Elegance, quality, and passione was put into this beauty and wish to get one soon. Does the X7 model also work on Game Boy Pocket I love the pocket series slightly more than GBC. Thank you again Elliot for straight forward critique and comparison.
These are a Godsend for on hardware homebrew development. My GBA Everdrive X5 is almost only used for GBA development, so for me, its an essential purchase.
The GBA Everdrive X5 is incredible. Plays SMS, SGG, GB, GBC, and NES games via decent-grade emulation. If they roll out an X7 model with the same shell size as orig GBA carts, it will be an absolute beast... and I bet they will.
I invested in Krikzz's Everdrive GB X7 so that I could play Pokémon Crystal ROM hacks on the go. Don't regret it at all. For me it's well worth the money for the quality and reliability, plus the inclusion of an RTC is very important to me as a Pokémon player because it rarely features on other flashcarts or flashcarts that use GB emulators (like the EZ Flash Omega for GBA, which I also own and love).
Everdrive. No question. "What about the cost" well what about the quality? This feels sturdy and well made. The famiclones and the other flashcarts feel like they'll break if I look at them too long.
It should be precised that each Everdrive exist in three versions (x3, x5, x7) with different prices. X3 is ~50$. Basically, higher version auto-save and have savestate but x3 versions are still fully functionnal. Personally, I prefer the original games. Like you said, too much roms is distracting and its hard to focus on one game. Also note that it's not the first time we got good flash cards, long ago, tototek was doing the same kind of flashcard. Bung also did a lot of flashcard, 20 years ago, I remember I had one (GBXchanger) when I was 17 years old (and I'm now 37 years old) and it was still that expensive back in the day (I remember to have paid it ~160 dollars, without the inflation). I play to get a flashcard later but only for two players games, to avoid having to buy two copies of each two players games. I'll probably buy the clone flashcard because one problem with the original Everdrive is that the stock is pretty low and are hard to find. But I plan to get a real everdrive for Game Gear because as much as I like real cartdriges, some games are pretty expensive on Game Gear, not to mention the fact the Game Gear Everdrive can play Master System games without the converter.
Tbh I'm glad krizz has finally sent you one so you can see why in general it's better saving and getting the product from the creator not a Chinese clone that's going to Fail within a few months of use
The modern customization of original hardware in the last 2 years has really made emulation handhelds sort of pointless. Got a GBA with USB-C rechargeable, ips perfect larger screen, Everdrive GBA with save functions that plays NES GBC, GB and GBA flawlessly and on Nintendo ergonomics and hardware. *chefs kiss* I haven’t touched my numerous emulation handhelds in a year or more.
I purchased the Everdrive X7, it was a lot of money but I am genuinely a Gameboy collector and I do live and work abroad. So for me, dumping all my own Cartridges and saves and then having a good reliable cartridge to play it on was fantastic. I think the Chinese clones work fine, but the quality of the device is amazing. I certainly recommend the Everdrive.
@@jamiecruickshank9697 I believe all of the new X7 everdrive for all the consoles are built amazingly. However charging a similar for a Gameboy X7 as the N64 X7 is a bit of a joke.
I now have an Everdrive GB X7 again. I don't know how, but I lost the other one. Needless to say that I was pretty naffed off about it. Everdrives are the absolute best flash carts ever.
The Everdrives are great! Really good quality cartridges. I bought the Everdrive V3 from Krikzz 4 years ago for my Mega Drive, which I've used for chiptune live sets and it's very reliable. Sure, I could've bought a cheaper one from China, but the Everdrive guarantees reliability for when you play in front of a crowd of people!
I have the x7 and indeed I don't regret one single second to have paid 140€ for it. It's simply the best gb/gbc cartridge available on the market right now. Please note that the save functionality does not work for some games... They are rare, however.
Great video. One of your best ones so far in my opinion. Will definitely check out Everdrive, even though I agree with you that having every game you own with you at all times kind of removes the GBA experience.
Well written and well spoken my friend. Thanks for showing the real software made by KRIKzz. While I can hardly have $150 lying around I have been putting money aside for a GBA Everdrive. I briefly considered the Chinese junk but quickly cane to my senses and want the guy who invented this and not to mention backs up his work to get my money NOT some Chinese gangster. Thanks again dude!
The Everdrive GBA mini is much cheaper, less than £90, if you buy direct from Ukraine. It's a great gadget but no updates in a while. Some additional file/folder manipulation features would be nice. The "play random game" option is great though!
I would have loved going with a true Krikzz Everdrive or specially (to be honest, more so than the Everdrive) the BennVenn ElCheapo, this one is priced way closer to reality (sorry, the everdrive is just overpriced in the end), but even that one has the problem of shipping. I just ended up not passing up when I saw the crappier clone on Aliexpress a while ago. It was within budget and with a good shipping to boot, no regrets at all. I don't really feel like Krikzz is even being screwed over by the clone, they've cloned only his old version of the Everdrive GB and as said, no updates for that one either. It's all a "you get what you pay for" type of stuff, but you do get a great device anyway. Krikzz sure is getting the bulk from the more hardcore fans and the ones that want the better product, and just wouldn't sell ANY to the ones that couldn't pay for it, neither would BennVenn be able to sell for who couldn't pay for his + shipping, it's like piracy in the end (hell... it's... precisely piracy, but downright hardware piracy in this case): if people can't pay for the original, they won't, and might or not go for the cheaper (or free) pirate alternative. Not having the cheaper or pirate version won't increase sales at all. I know the Everdrive GB has the 3 versions with varying feature levels, but even the lowest equipped model which is just way too bare bones, is still too expensive. The one option I've still gotta check (albeit I won't be buying it tho) is the EZ Flash for the GB/GBC, it's more expensive than the clone everdrive but if I recall it's even got RTC.
People will always, always complain about the price. People who don't own one, that is. For people who have actually bought an Everdrive, even reluctantly, there is no such thing as buyer's remorse. They are worth every single penny. (Edit: I cannot speak for the Chinese knock-offs)
I have multiple Chinese reproduction everdrive for multi systems and they cost 1/4 of original everdrive and they are still working after years of use.
Personally I think it's way too pricey, if he could get it down to sub $100, I'm sure many more would be willing to buy it from Krikkz rather than getting a knockoff that "does the job" for less than 1/4th the price.
I mean the X7 is not the only model available. The X3 is comparable in price and features to the knockoff. The real problem is the trademark being stolen.
@@cdoty Despite that I would love to launch into the relative worth of defending an independent hardware developer's IP vs corporate IP holdings, I think I should simply point out that these devices are in no way illegal themselves.
@@cdoty half of these games are not even sold anymore why buy a physcal copy? The original developers are not getting any of the profit just a scummy reseller I'd rather pay a guy who's had made a qaulity product and have the games on one Cart
I liked the X7 the best but the EZ-FLASH Jr. Was great for my Super Gameboy 2. I just had to squeeze it twice every time to make it run. It also has real time clock for Pokemon Gold and Silver. Cheaper to run than the X7 if you are planning on using it for Super Gameboy 1 or 2. No Super Gameboy borders though for some reason with the EZ-FLASH. I personally like that.
You can also use an easier to find Hyperkin Smartboy for C Type smart phones from Amazon to dump the ROM. Use the cable it comes with so you can transfer the ROM to a different folder and rename it because the software deletes the ROM after you remove the Smartboy from the default folder.
I love the everdrive GB I have an older version and have not felt the need to upgrade to the x7 yet as I don't need RTC support. The genuine kritzz products are world's better then the Chinese junk.
What faulty console do you suggest I start with? This is going to be a hobby, so summit cheap & faulty consoles that's one of the easier fixes. I'm from the UK if that helps.
You can do soldering and have passion for miniature portable gaming device, would you take it to the next level with custom made mechanical keyboard from part you solder ? You can buy a 130 switch tester on aliexpress and then test each one of those to know which switch you prefer with all the variation of Clicky, Tactile and Linear and if you want them dampened or not. I prefer myself some Matias Clicky and planning to make a retro build with Alps SKCM Amber Switch from 2 Apple IIc Keyboard into another Full Chassis (Probably a Dell AT101W) with some Taihao Miami keycap. That a retro build btw and most keyboard nowadays use Cherry MX Compatible Part Instead of Alps one.
I ended up buying the EZ Flash Omega, also reviewed on your channel. I will say the Everdrive looks to be built very solid, the EZ Flash Omega well not so much, a pretty thin plastic really. I was thinking about trying to transfer the guts of the EZ Flash Omega to a regular GBA cart. Functionality wise, I can't speak to the differences as I don't have the Everdrive to compare. Perhaps you could do a video comparing them?
The case of the EZFlash was designed with the idea of it being converted with the extra piece so that it can be put in a DS lite and not stick out of it. That's why the top bit is empty.
@@chamoo232 I know, which I think is a really nice feature. But I've got a new shell for my travel worn SP and am waiting delivery of my Funnyplaying IPS screen. My SP will be where this bad boy lives going forward. :)
@@Brewskii2117 I have a few SP and my main one to play is a 101 with one of those newer smoke transparent shells. I like it a lot because it match the EZflash's shell. I also like the transparent shell because now I can easily show everyone that I actually use a DS battery without having to remove the cover. I found out that the SP batteries and the original DS batteries are the same size but with little plastic tabs at different location. By removing one tab and filing down the other it's possible to use the DS battery in an SP. It bring the battery from 600Mah to 850Mah. A very useful boost when you use a flash cart like the EZFlash.
@@epicgrapefruit7563 I have never felt the SP's battery life was too short but now that I converted to an IPS screen I'm actually curious to see if I could mod it using all the empty space behind the screen. The IPS screen is much thinner than the regular screen and that would some room for a new battery. I can find 2200mAh battery in 40x70x6mm but 6mm is too tick. Would have to be 3mm. Maybe a custom 3d printed case would allow something like that. Can you imagine almost 4x the regular battery life by just making the SP 1/8 of an inch ticker?
@@epicgrapefruit7563 Comfort shouldn't change if it's the piece at the back of the screen that gets ticker. I would get a black replacement shell and just get a frame to extend the edges and still use the real back cover. It's just a fun idea.
I like your view from the flash cart. Most of poor gamers use flash carts and jailbreak to play they games because we don't have the money to buy 10 games or less. So we use alternatives to play backups we download online. But most of us don't play the games that we have. We play 2 most of the time and the rest is just like a thing that we like to have but don't use it, when you buy the game you play until you don't have much things to collect or replay. I think is better to buy original cartridges now
Well, you're paying for the labour of developing this things and for producing them in relatively small batches but holding high standards of quality. All of Krikzz's products are definitely worth the money if you can afford them.
"Don't put all your eggs in one basket!" Is a proverb that would not work in the gaming community. You technically want to take everything out with you and continue whenever you feel like it. Loss is not the problem... It's missing the moment of fun and have to went through "l'd rather be gaming" situation that's worse. With a right peripheral, you can back up your game and make it last forever!
Original hardware for the win. That everdrive is definitely a must. I use either a unmodded gbc with a nyko worm light or a reshelled gameboy pocket with a nyko worm light. I try not to buy cheap shit from China so I've yet to get the legit everdrive. So for now I hunt out legit gameboy carts from local retro gaming stores around town. Never know what you'll find in these stores and you can always resell your carts.

i never got any of those flashcards because of, yeah, too much games avaiable and i can't focus on one properly. but someday i'll probably mod my gba with a backlight monitor because in the last years i got some games for my old dmg and nes, but i never played the first ones too much because using the old dgm and gba screens hurt me so much. but at that point, getting a flashcard may be a good idea too.. PS, i got both zelda oracle of ages and oracle of season, boxed, seeing that they're sold at that price makes me pretty happy, i kept them as relics, so i may just sell them and get the money for both upgrades easily, but i'll probably wont do that.
I take it Krikkz wasn't too happy you reviewing one of his clones beforehand! Igor is a top notch bloke I have known for years. While sometimes the clones tempt me, I still do not own any. It's my personal choice to support the developer, even though I have 5 kids. I personally would rather have the real thing and piece of mind, than support plagiarism and fraud. Roll on black Friday, 30% off every year, that's how I have EVERY Everdrive except Game Gear....
The Chinese one is a fake Everdrive GB X5, not X7. The Everdrive GB X5 costs 89$ The Chinese one costs like 45$ By making the proper comparison, the Chinese one isn't that preferable anymore.
Wasn't Analog going to release a Gameboy "remaster"? I hope it gets support for Everdrive as well - killer-est GameBoy and all my favorite games. There is a reason I curate my ROMs. Not just because I dump them myself - but also because I want to focus on just a few games that I like. ^^

Lol mine did too but it ended up being... 3 months and 4 weeks exactly to the day. wasn't worth the wait i've got to admit, i got fed up with waiting and ordered an EZ Flash Omega after a month and a half of waiting for the everdrive and i've got to admit that it blew the everdrive out of the water in terms of overall functionality, the speed and the reliability was on par with one another but the EZ flash only took 2-3 weeks to recieve ( from the boys in china of course, DIRECTLY, so times from china have improved a LOT lol) and this is the third or fourth irritation of the EZ flash series/line, so they've gotten it down well.i could've gotten the EZ flash off amazon from american resellers and gotten it in 2-3 days instead, but i was kinda a cheap ass and didnt want to pay 3x the mark up lol, but it's true, patience can save you money lol
actually built a backlit gameboy color about 2 weeks ago. when i put the order in, I also picked up an everdrive gb x7. let me tell you, its great. loving every second of it.
Well put man. I'm going to have to figure out how to configure it into themed folders once I get mine. Thanks for the tip
Cool, but too expensive unfortunately.
i love how you did this video. the editing, quality, everything about this video is great. keep doing more of this i love it.
Amazing video bro, great job on the quality. Exactly why you will reach 1 mil soon in my opinion
Thanks man!!
The bicycle squeek was to funny lol. Great video!
The cycling bit in the beginning killed me. You have such a great sense of humour!
Everdrive is the Mercedes of the flash carts.
Thank you, we really needed this video on the platform. It helps the community by providing the power of information!
here's the thing, krizz's isn't as original as people like to assume, mainly the snobby people. this comment isn't meant to bash nor praise chinese manufactures at all, because i think they are absolutely important and are great, and are obviously the most important aspect of gaming culture now days without people realizing it, serioiusly, you remember seeing all those posts on social media and reddit of people making "RIP" posts about their beloved consoles? well those don't really exists anymore these days because the boys in china have literally expanded their arsenals to allow us around the world to purchase every single component of ANY thing we need to repair, fix, and modify our systems lol something you know was impossible to do not that long ago.. either we'd have to part out a perfectly good system, find a broken one, or we were out of luck. now days we're able to not just repair but modify our shit to our heart's desires with new backlights and a ton of other things.
Every single Everdrive is overpriced as hell and there is something extremely ironic with the dude putting drm on his flash cart firmware.
Do you own one? They're expensive yes, but I've never heard an actual owner say it wasn't worth every penny.
Just buy a bittboy. Over £100 cheaper, multiple save states and can run games for like 20 different consoles.
@@tspooner01
Which functionality do you miss the most?
@@tspooner01
Does X7 have state saves?
Sweeet!
i bought one from the seller at 00:51 and im super happy with it
The originator of the Everdrive had to put a lot of effort into it's creation, so must recover costs etc., whereas the Chinese one is a copy of that work.
Great video, not sure why a squeaky bike I find so funny 😂 🤣🤣
Elegance, quality, and passione was put into this beauty and wish to get one soon. Does the X7 model also work on Game Boy Pocket I love the pocket series slightly more than GBC. Thank you again Elliot for straight forward critique and comparison.
0:10 When im going somewhere and ive forgot my whole gamebiy collection
These are a Godsend for on hardware homebrew development. My GBA Everdrive X5 is almost only used for GBA development, so for me, its an essential purchase.
The GBA Everdrive X5 is incredible. Plays SMS, SGG, GB, GBC, and NES games via decent-grade emulation. If they roll out an X7 model with the same shell size as orig GBA carts, it will be an absolute beast... and I bet they will.
Please show your setup/studio! It looks really professional.
I choose neither! Lol the elCheapo is the flash cart for me :)
Amen I just use a SuperCard DSTwo+ on my Homebrew'd 2DS XL and that plays everything.
Getting a GBC with blacklight, tft lcd screen and can't wait to get this cart!
Elliot, the production quality of this video is Hollywood-grade. Very impressed!!
Your videos are great you have a unique take on these topics
I invested in Krikzz's Everdrive GB X7 so that I could play Pokémon Crystal ROM hacks on the go. Don't regret it at all. For me it's well worth the money for the quality and reliability, plus the inclusion of an RTC is very important to me as a Pokémon player because it rarely features on other flashcarts or flashcarts that use GB emulators (like the EZ Flash Omega for GBA, which I also own and love).
EZ FLash Omega does have RTC. You have the option to turn it off to save power in the menu. That's what the battery you can see inside is used for.
Everdrive. No question. "What about the cost" well what about the quality? This feels sturdy and well made. The famiclones and the other flashcarts feel like they'll break if I look at them too long.
Your bike riding technique. That break squeak got me. :D
Both are great, but the Everdrive gives you 1 year of warranty, the bad thing is the price, btw I like how you edited this video.
$140 is far too steep. Love the idea but they are cash grabbing on the nostalgia in my opinion.
Agreed the price is always what has kept me from getting one, for that price I could build a Gameboy Zero
Jake Rinker exactly, the concept is great but at the end of the day it’s a cartridge filled with roms. No where near the price they are asking.
I have one, worth it.
@@jamiecruickshank9697 I believe all of the new X7 everdrive for all the consoles are built amazingly. However charging a similar for a Gameboy X7 as the N64 X7 is a bit of a joke.
I have my game boy everdrive for a few years now, it’s definitely worth the money.
I have never bought a knockoff, but I do own a GBAx5 everdrive cart from Krikzz, and I take it everywhere
I now have an Everdrive GB X7 again. I don't know how, but I lost the other one. Needless to say that I was pretty naffed off about it. Everdrives are the absolute best flash carts ever.
Glad I watched this video. I have a broken X3 and now I can send it back with the life time Warranty :)
Lowkey this is your best video yet. Keep it up 👌🏿
The Everdrives are great!
Great video Elliot! loving this style!
Thanks Bill!
I play everything on my vita, such a good device. My cousin gave it to me for free after i bought him gta 5 lol
I love my everdrive. Although its an older dated version, the knockoff Chinese ones can’t hold a candle to it. One day I’ll update to an X7 one.
I bought one for my Pocket Analogue pre-order. Really nice device.
I agree, it is very pricey for what it is.
@@mxBug I wonder how that compares to the games being stolen on a flash cartridge?
$142 is not cheap at all... not many of us have the money to buy such a specialized and impractical item.
Epic Grape Fruit thanks
Fair play bro u always looking good!!! Love ur style
What faulty console do you suggest I start with? This is going to be a hobby, so summit cheap & faulty consoles that's one of the easier fixes. I'm from the UK if that helps.
I really liked this format. It was a nice change in pace.
Thanks!
Yes but I don't want him stopping his old way either. How about a compromise where he'll do two videos a week, one the old way and one t he new?
I'll love to buy this Everdrive for my retro consoles
I think is better to buy original cartridges now
It's a Quality product, but the price.😫
Well, you're paying for the labour of developing this things and for producing them in relatively small batches but holding high standards of quality. All of Krikzz's products are definitely worth the money if you can afford them.
No kidding😱
Waiting for a video on the new EZ Flash Jr!
That price is insane
Original hardware for the win. That everdrive is definitely a must. I use either a unmodded gbc with a nyko worm light or a reshelled gameboy pocket with a nyko worm light. I try not to buy cheap shit from China so I've yet to get the legit everdrive. So for now I hunt out legit gameboy carts from local retro gaming stores around town. Never know what you'll find in these stores and you can always resell your carts.
Don't let the people in the comments section get to you. If they don't like your content, then they can go elsewhere. I love your vids, don't change a thing mate!
'Squeeze my gameboy' -TRF 2019
i never got any of those flashcards because of, yeah, too much games avaiable and i can't focus on one properly.
but someday i'll probably mod my gba with a backlight monitor because in the last years i got some games for my old dmg and nes, but i never played the first ones too much because using the old dgm and gba screens hurt me so much.
but at that point, getting a flashcard may be a good idea too..
PS, i got both zelda oracle of ages and oracle of season, boxed, seeing that they're sold at that price makes me pretty happy, i kept them as relics, so i may just sell them and get the money for both upgrades easily, but i'll probably wont do that.
What is the first handhels that you place on the table?
I'm Chinese poor and I love video games. End of conversation.
Lol what?! Kr1kzz EVERDRIVEs made in Ukraine? It's so fucking amazing. The best things would made in my country
I look forward to all your videos. I'm 51 and think you are an excellent presenter
Amazing!! Thanks buddy.
You should get your hands on the new RG 350 and make a review of it, as you did with his predecessor: the RG 300.
The Chinese one is a fake Everdrive GB X5, not X7.
The Everdrive GB X5 costs 89$
The Chinese one costs like 45$
By making the proper comparison, the Chinese one isn't that preferable anymore.
lol, please don't tell me your legs move like that when you bike! XD
All hail KRIKZZ

What's the name of the ROM hack in 4:51? Looks like Pokemon Rocket Edition for GBC, but based on G/S/C
Not really sure how so many people could be mad about the knockoff video. The price difference alone makes that video worth making.
Also don't start a subreddit, they get way too hivemind-y
In the case of the Game Colour do you need a solder to change battery? thanks for your vid
When Shantae for GBC is $100 on Ebay, why I like roms over physical. Though I love my 30+ physical game gear collection however
$100 would be a deal! That's a $500 game these days
