Thanks for your question, The answer is not directly No. StreamYard is web based and cannot directly connect to NDI enabled devices. But if you use OBS or ECamm Virtual Camera inside StreamYard then yes you can use NDI with those platforms and by extension it will show up in StreamYard. I encourage you to join us on Wednesday for. I'm told it's a copyright issue they need to ensure we know that playing copyright music is at our own risk. I think it'll happen just going to take time.

I was looking for the ability to add our own music that we create to the platform. We still can't monetize the stream with music that don't belong to us. Content ID will still pickup that music. The move today is to monetize everything that you're doing. So hopefully, they add that as an update to allow you to upload music that you own that's never been uploaded. That's a huge thing. Really, the current update is useless if....you monetize your podcasts.

I agree the ability to upload your own music that you've vetted would be preferred but the music that has been provided by StreamYard took so long because they had to ensure it was completely public domain. No copyright no license claims can be made on this music because if it can SteamYard subscribers like us will go back to them complaining. I've been using this feature on Restream for months and have used it on a live show today through StreamYard and had no issues and yes it's monetized. My suggestion would be to do a short monetized test stream and see if you get any strikes. Ultimately everyone will have to decide what's best for them I just want you to know the intention with providing this music is for people to be use it without penalty.
