Holy shit, the moment I read this I unpaused my game and the sniper shot at me💀 like dead ass
I was sniping the sniper with explosive arrows from all the way down the street and at the end from the sides with accuracy that would have blown any other npc in half but he still kept shooting and taunting Joel; I must have unloaded like 200 arrows at this guy and he still wouldn't die (without the type of mods in this video).

You can only kill him using a flamethrower or a trap mine

2:15 Its nice that the Sniper is modeled in Part1 but for gameplay it sadly has no effect. I would have programmed in a small pause and some voiceline from him if you tried to shoot him from down the street.

The sniper does have lines if you try to shoot at him from the street. When I turned on the game modifiers "unlimited ammo" & "explosive arrows" and managed to aim between the window slits he would say "What the fu¢k!", "What the hell!", and I believe "He's using a bow!" And he'll also say "That's not going to work!" if you aim too high or too low. I spent 30 minutes trying to see if I could kill this guy before entering the house. Sadly, I could not. I also tried to kill him before/during the cutscene, before did nothing and during only caused me to get blown up.

Ellie CAN kill David using a flamethrower or a trap mine.
Joe CAN kill the sniper using a military sniper but you will get an exclamation mark (missing script) for killkng him.
How can you do it
@@Gamer-cr6zm you don't need a PC to mod games, just use a jailbroken PS4 with the debug menu(dev memu) of the games wisely. trust me, I've modded the TLOU/TLOU2 to death by just using the debug menu. Hope this helps👍
@@justfun-sg4nc Do you know what you need to activate when you're on free cam to be able to access places off the map without them disappearing? (like Sarah outside Joel house in the video)
I'm using the dev menu on PC and can't find a solution. Thanks in advance!
@@devilmax71 There are 3 ways to do it. The easiest way to do it is activate(open) the "photo mode" before selecting a task. Hope this helps. 👍

David is equipped with Fairplay/ Plot armor you can't kill him with guns,Joel

2:16 Actually, you kind of can kill the sniper. There's actually 3 snipers: the invisible one, the invincible one (shown here) and the one that morphs from behind the door as you walk in. The invisible one, you can kill. Saw a video on it ages ago.

easily done by using the Debug Menu of the game. You don't need to be a modder to do it mate.

I don't remember where, but I saw a video of Joel killing the sniper , but then the game glitches, and the sniper keeps moving and doing things (can be seen, e.g., if you throw a molotov where he is standing), but his corpse is on the floor.

Oh, I love these Mythbusters! So much interesting stuff here! But first: Where are the comments? :O I really liked seeing them, showing that an actual person asked one of these questions. It was also a nice appreciation for us viewers. But now, they are gone ;__;
I'm quite surprised that characters like David and Robert can be killed by Joel; though I assume, in the latter case, he would probably appear again if you trigger the cutscene? Then again, the doctor didn't respawn when you killed him early, so no idea. It's nice to know when stuff actually works and when it makes it impossible to progress ^^
My favorite detail was definitely the tire swing. I wonder if it worked in the other versions, too? Or was that detail added in now?
My Mythbusters question would be: C-Can you kill any animals? Like the giraffes or monkeys? I'm kinda afraid to know, but I still wanted to ask XD
This is the first episode so there were no comments to show. Next episode there should be some! And yes, they usually respawn after you kill them or the game just doesn't progress and you get stuck.

I think I’ve asked this before but not completely sure but if you haven’t done it before Can you do out of bounds and show where David goes after he and Ellie get separated and also if he just spawns and shoots the clicker
