When leaving the building with ellie the first time, you see 4 people closing a garage door when a truck passes by, can we see what they look like after and where the truck goes?
I want to see what happens to Tommy when he tells Joel to run with Sarah while he holds off the infected inside the bar.
Nothing, his character model probably gets despawned. Nobody's gonna put an effort into animating something you ain't supposed to see.

They most likely didn't bother seeing as you never see him and also the fact this game in 2013 reached the peak of PS3 capabilities. All they did in part I was rerender to ps5 and upgrade the graphics.

5:18 It's fascinating how, even in this low poly model, you can easily trace the path they take in the beginning of Part II. From Joel's house, greenhouses, through Tipsy Bison, playground, all the way to the stables.

In the 2013 game, this city was different and had an NPC, just look at this guy's channel.

Damn, I'm a little disappointed that David's face was still the same XD Then again, what did I expect? It was very interesting to see so many scenes from a different angle though; makes it easier to understand how the game works. :)

I assumed that they would just remove his character model from the scene once she goes berserk on him, but no they kept him in and even made his head move as if they had some intention of showing his face but decided not to.

i remember in a boundary break video from shesez in the original game he showed how ellie had a full running animation when joel is drowning so its fun to see how they handled it in the remake

I was about to hunt down some " Out of Bounds" with the DevMode and Freecam and this video shows up. I will still hunt but if this series is as good as the one for Part2 I will watch every video. Finally we can see some Behind the Scenes from Part1, and also stuff from cutscenes we couldnt ever look at because in the original all cutscenes where pre- rendered...
It would have been so nice if ND expanded some scenes, like if we got to see some of Tess fighting as we come up the stairs. But devs only do as much as they have to :)
Are there any test, block or other nonplayable levels in the files?
Sadly no, there's no test or blockmesh maps :(

Hey, if you'll be doing any more of these for Part II, I'd love to see matching character's position in the game world.
Like matching which skyscrapers can be seen from different locations and cutscenes, and where the various places are relative to those.
