CJ man i am glad the silence is over. You inspire me Two and a half years ago. Keep it up Bro you are truly da wealth of Knowledge to beginners in da hobby
I like how your video explains what you are doing and why you are doing it. The other guy spent his whole time dogging you as a person rather than focusing on the challenge. Keep doing you. The point of the challenge is to draw in new members and educate people, not to just insult your opponent. In my mind you have already won. I love that you didn’t bash Rico. Your work speaks for itself.
Feet under the scape - I did that with Mollywood for exactly the same reason: smaller points of contact for less detritus accumulation. Ice cube tray idea is genius! 👍🏻👍🏻 And your template idea is why I was also able to put the pieces together outside the tank and then just lift them into place. We’re learning as we go......😁
I commented on another video of yours but have to again because I just absolutely love your aquascape! Making me want to get that bigger JBJ now that I’m looking at my lil ol 20g one. Love these aquariums and yours is simply gorgeous! Thanks for sharing CJ. :]
I'm amazed by your work. I'm starting with reeftanks and I feel so inspired. I've had freshwater tanks for years, know some things about aquascaping, but the riffs I saw never came close to the aesthetic requirements. But you did that. Great job! Thank you very much.
Subscribed. Ive gone back watch hours of footage. One of the best scapes ive ever seen. Love how you take your time and do everything right. Someone could literally follow step by step and be successful following you. Amazing job man!
CJ , HEY BROTHER AJ HERE . I REALLY LIKE TO CHECK OUT YOU'RE SCAPES . YOU HAVE HELPED ME LEARN SCAPING , AND YOU DEFINITELY HAVE SOME BEAUTIFUL TANK SCAPES. THANKS BRO. AJ OUT
You can use PVC plumbers purple primer to fill in those white spots on the small cracks it's perfectly safe I've done it many times nice rockscape can't wait to see the updates
I love your strategy practice makes perfect you learned a lot from the first build does Rico's Aquarium have a challenge can't wait to see who's the Dominator😎 alright alright alright lol just checked out your motorcycle vlogs that 1000 a sounding awesome I bet you pick up a lot of nice booty on that bad boy lol good night brother
So fun update! I was able to not only find a square silicon tray but the same AF stone mix and CJ isn’t kidding! Stuff is amazing! Thanks again for showing and recommending tis product if you have any other form of social media I’d love to show ya what I’m currently working on until I start making videos on my 150g build 😊
Nice 👍🏾 Acapscape! I thought about adding Tonga branch... that was a nice touch. It might be interesting to see the flow patterns after ghost feeding a cube of Mysis or something before placing sand?
Nice informative vid. Real handy ideas. How long did the scape take? If really long, did it kill the 'life' in the rock? Or did you have to wash and seed it again with Dr Tims or similar
Looks great so far! Not sure if you are planning mainly sps but just make sure you have enough room for them to grow, the branching rock is very high it the scape. Sure you know what your dosing just a thought!
Fat Headed Fish no doubt... and I won’t have room for many which is good. Will save money stocking the tank. I’m very strategic with coral placement I’ll share in a future video 👌🏾
I like the scape! It looks like it has a lot of depth. The feet are a good idea. I’ve glued stubs of rock together to make feet; I’ve never thought of ice cube trays though. You will get some good undercurrent with the gyre too. Bare bottom... think about it. You can put cyphastria, zoas and encrusting montis.
Hey CJ! First time watching videos from you, Awesome BTW! Im picking up this tank in a few days from my local fish store. I was wondering how you set up an auto top off on this system and what equipment you used for it.

CJ man i am glad the silence is over. You inspire me Two and a half years ago. Keep it up Bro you are truly da wealth of Knowledge to beginners in da hobby
Putting the feet on the bottom of the scape seems like a great idea. Especially for a bare bottom system. Thanks for sharing CJ! 👍
J’s REEFs I’m going to use the Js Reef technique on my 170 build. Great ideal.
could we use a regular cement for the feet?

dude that scape is amazing! one of the most unique scapes i’ve seen!!
Nice scape! Glad to see you back at it.

Very creative CJ, looking forward to seeing that finished product!!!
CJ you have some great ideas! Miss your vids brother. anxiously waiting for more.
Great idea putting the ‘feet’ on the bottom of the rocks. I’ll be rescaping my tank in a couple of weeks, and will definitely use your idea.
I commented on another video of yours but have to again because I just absolutely love your aquascape! Making me want to get that bigger JBJ now that I’m looking at my lil ol 20g one. Love these aquariums and yours is simply gorgeous! Thanks for sharing CJ. :]
Some nice new ideas with the ice cube tray

Looks great and I'll be using the ice cube idea as I scape out my new tank. Thanks!

I’ve yet to purchase my tank but already have rock and using you ideal to add the footing to float my rock work, great idea and thanks for sharing it.
I like the ice-cube idea!! Very creative!! Can't wait until I can aquascape my tank. :-)
Also...for the ice-cubes, did you use a plastic ice tray or a jelly flimsy one?
plastic from the dollar store. there are definitely better options shape and size. find the mold that fits your needs
Great video and your tank looks great.
The feet was a great idea cj. You’re a pioneer 😁
Aquascape is 🔥 🔥 you’ve always been a pro in that area 👍👏
Looks great CJ! 👍
So glad your back bro. U have great info and Ideas ... I'm going to use some of this tricks when I start on my 120gl.
Now That's What I Call straight up fire💪
You can use PVC plumbers purple primer to fill in those white spots on the small cracks it's perfectly safe I've done it many times nice rockscape can't wait to see the updates

Love the cement ice cubes. Implementing them with my new rock swipe.
That’s going to be a wicked set up! Wish they had a skimmer that was a bit more concealable.
sandrstudios something to think 🤔 about... I have a few ideas in mind
So fun update! I was able to not only find a square silicon tray but the same AF stone mix and CJ isn’t kidding! Stuff is amazing! Cody Tarr awesome I’m on IG same name CJs Aquariums 💯
Can't wait to see it completed!!!
I think I am most definitely gonna use your idea for footing the aqua scape great idea for a bare bottom system that I am trying to start. Great video
love it bro, thought yu left the hobby but am pleasantly surprised to see you starting up again
Why didn't I think of laying out the rocks outside the system *or* going modular? When I build the scape, I'll do both.
Love the scape CJ. Can’t wait to see more.
Great video and thank you for all the tips.
Man that scape looks dope and the flouting idea it’s awesome 💯👍🤟
Scape is looking great! I'll need to try the floating technique myself.
Good job pal floating scape great idea
Beauty! Love the way those Tonga came out, makes me itch to get my 55g going! Patience patience
Awsome build, got my ideas to flow :)
Beautifully done🍻
Looks great! I’d love it if you tried the tropic eden reef flakes for sand. I’d appreciate your take on them
Patrick Schultz best sand I’ve ever used. I’m using it again on this tank get you some 👌🏾
You should cover that upper branch with encrusting montipora... awesome color and avoid shading below it! 😊
awesome idea with the icecube tray! So useful ;)
Doesn't the bacteria die off when you keep them out of water for so long?
Nice 👍🏾 Acapscape! I thought about adding Tonga branch... that was a nice touch. It might be interesting to see the flow patterns after ghost feeding a cube of Mysis or something before placing sand?
National Reefing good idea a visual confirmation of flow pattern 👌🏾
scape looks awesome, CJ.
Dope aquascape bro love the creativity
Nice informative vid. Real handy ideas.
How long did the scape take?
If really long, did it kill the 'life' in the rock? Or did you have to wash and seed it again with Dr Tims or similar
You're the man, CJ
Looks great so far! Not sure if you are planning mainly sps but just make sure you have enough room for them to grow, the branching rock is very high it the scape. Sure you know what your dosing just a thought!
Fat Headed Fish no doubt... and I won’t have room for many which is good. Will save money stocking the tank. I’m very strategic with coral placement I’ll share in a future video 👌🏾

When the sand gets under your scape after a while, how are you going to clean, vacuum
Nice scape CJ. Keep it coming.
Looking great!! I use the stone fix from AF for everything. Also for fragrocks. Great stuff
great idea on the feet
Nice bro where do u got sement to put the rocks together??
I like the scape! It looks like it has a lot of depth. The feet are a good idea. I’ve glued stubs of rock together to make feet; I’ve never thought of ice cube trays though. You will get some good undercurrent with the gyre too.
Bare bottom... think about it. You can put cyphastria, zoas and encrusting montis.
Top view is my favorite 🔥🔥🔥

You killed it!
BRS said this will dry out and loose benefits after about 30 mins. How did u have time to do this
How many pounds of rock did you get ? Looks great

Hey CJ! First time watching videos from you, Awesome BTW! Im picking up this tank in a few days from my local fish store. I was wondering how you set up an auto top off on this system and what equipment you used for it.
