- Several police officers have been injured in the UK trying to separate anti-immigrant rioters from counter-protesters in the city of Plymouth.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has said he would be deploying quote 'a standing army' of police officers as violent riots threaten to stretch into a second week. More than 370 people have been arrested in connection with the unrest so far - which followed the fatal stabbings of three young girls in the town of Southport.

Anyone that goes against the narrative is labeled far right it’s lost any meaning
Far right (in a modern European context) = (some combination of:) authoritarian, nativist, reactionary, nostalgic for the "good old days," typically strongly anti-immigration, anti-LGBTQ+, anti-feminism, anti-globalism/free trade, anti-climate measures, fans of Orban and/or Putin. Does this not describe the rioters? How many of them would you estimate subscribe to these opinions?

Normally you'd allow the legal system to punish those who commit crime. Individuals are responsible for their actions, not their ethnicity/religion/class/gender/sexuality etc...
It makes no sense to harm other people/property that aren't related to the stabbing at all. Thankfully UK have pretty advanced camera technology, so I have they can track down each of the rioters that are assaulting regular people and the police.

Exactly! I was waiting to see a comment saying this. Sure, there's been racial/ethnic/national tension before Brexit, but I had seen and read interviews where the everyday hard headed Brit was "prepared" for the extra import fees and such as a result, just to deal with less immigration. It's already expensive to live in the entire U.K. I can't imagine how worse it got after Brexit. The people brought it upon themselves. Actions beget consequences. I do understand how they feel, but Brexit was the wrong way to go about it. That's like the U.S. locking borders or whatever it's called. Absolutely not would it work here. For non-UK viewers they are not ‘far right.’ That is a media slur. All these events have happened in parts of the country that are overwhelmingly left wing. The reaction of the Government and of the Police absolutely confirms what they are trying to deny. The Police stand by when ethnic minorities riot (like they did in Leeds) or when various ethnic groups fought each other in English towns. The Police also stood by when BLM riots happened.
