Mazzuccua being out is the major reason we didn’t run the ball well . Really hope our defensive line and offensive line aren’t overrated. No consistent pressure on Luke Altmeyer. Illinois quick passing game probably the major reason why. Man, I sure hope Illinois is better than we think. Or for that matter our coaching staff , nah we’re good . GBR
I can't call John Bullock a riser cause, to me, he's been about the only consistently dominant player on defense. He did what he was supposed to do... again. 👏🏽 So I will go with Jamal Banks as my riser. And faller... where to begin? Lol I guess I'll just agree with the entire offensive line. Omg it was embarrassing 😔 Gotta bounce back big time this next week! GBR! 🏈🌽🎈☠️
By now the coaching staff should know who the go to guys are. I definitely believe there are some disadvantages in playing too many young guys. With inexperience comes miss tackles big plays and penalties for one . GBR
Why arent we playing emmitt johnson? I know dowdell is a power back. And rhamir is a passing back but emmitt johnson is by some margin the best all around back imo. He has the best footwork he has the best vision hes the most complete back we have, and we use him like 3 plays a game so hes not even going to get his redshirt. Absolutely baffles me because dowdell is a one trick pony and rhamir is not an everydown back.
We need Mazzccua back immediately. I dont care what he did, as long as it wasnt criminal, that dude needs to be on the field. You dont win football games with choir boys
Micah is a road raider all our running backs run behind him for some reason. Go figure but I support Rhule’s decision. Micah must know NFL scouts are watching. Maybe he doesn’t care but the difference in being picked a round or two later in the draft will add up to thousands of dollars at the very least .
@@jeffreywolfe1122 we are in year two of coach Rhule’s rebuild what do you think? Playing a lot of young and inexperienced players can have disadvantages. We should know by now, who we can trust
The message to the players should be winning the right way. Do you wanna whine or do you wanna win? Behavior problems cannot go unaddressed. Mazzccua wasn’t the difference between winning and losing the game. Illinois had a conditioning and confidence edge over Nebraska, and it’s clear they’re coached to be loud and boisterous about their successes. This was the one game of the first 7 that I was most worried about. Bielema has our number dating back to Wisconsin.
If Nebraska shoots himself in the foot and the defense looks as bad as they did at Illinois we will not win the Purdue game we will not win the Indiana game and so on
@@JarodKing-u3u what you’re saying is that Illinois already showed the rest of the Big Ten how to beat us incorporate a short, passing game with the quarterback, getting rid of the ball quickly to avoid our pass rush Then run it down our throat to take advantage of our poor tackling. We need our defense to play well every game. I didn't like the defensive game plan either. We gave their receivers way to much respect.

I 100% agree, I dc if t night or d riola say anything, big ass Mike need to be back and work that mf is tough we need him against Indiana

Is your defense depth just shallow? Sometimes a defense of player has a bad game you should be able to plug someone in

I think Rhule did the right thing not playing Mazzuca. Culture is everything
Secondary sucks!!! We are gonna get whooped by Indiana like 50 to 30 something
Short sighted.
You put way too much stock in PFF
