Stunning piece of furniture! Well done, Billy & Yanis. So happy to see & hear from Yanis each day. He has a special place in my heart (old lady here, in Southern California) & I know I am not alone.
I subscribed to your channel Billy on November 12, 2024, when there were 487,000 subscribers, and with great joy that YT suggested your channel, it has now surpassed 500,000. Today, December 17, 2024, there are 503,000 subscribers, that's incredible! In 35 days, the number of subscribers increased by 16,000! This shows that your work, whether alone or with your team, is recognized. Thank you very much, I have learned a lot (I am 7 decades old and I love learning from kind and focused people like you), and in just over a month, I have been enjoying your pleasant company.
Billy, I have been keeping track of dates, just to keep a minimum record. I don't know if YT records the number of subscriptions month by month, date by date, or if it just keeps a general count. It is important to know how much you are growing, this can encourage you more and also make you feel proud of yourself, for what you do and how you do it.

Welcome to the fan club. I’m an Ohioan who recently started her 7th decade. This channel has a lot to commend it. I wish I had learned the skills exhibited by Billy and crew when I was a young person. I’ve developed an obsession with a number of YT vloggers who are undertaking restoration projects in France. Not a bad way to spend retirement.
This piece feels like it's going to be a gorgeous addition to your dining room if that's where it's meant for! You really do have an amazing eye for furniture pieces!
I own the exact same iron Stan was holding in that scrap yard. Lots of fun stuff to pick through. Enjoying your antiques for the convent (and that bottle of Kracken). Can't wait to see the organ, be sure to post pics of it, it's wonderful all the furniture you are saving from being lost.
the Dutch armoire LOOKS great in the kitchen; the wood colour is blending more with the kitchen. Yannis is making me smile! Exciting to see the organ being assembled etc and Michael also in attendance. 🌲🌲🌲
What a wonderful cabinet you have set up in your kitchen, waiting to be placed in the future dining room! Simply lovely. I am glad you offered us the convent. I thought we would not have it today. Great work with the organ that Michael is doing. He is truly passionate about organs. And Yanis supervising! Great soundtrack for the kitchen cabinet assembly. Thanks for the video! 👏
Billy - loving the humor & variety content during this holiday season! 🥰🥰🥰 Gosh -wouldn’t it be something if the other Organ in the future could find a new home at Chateau De La Pannard. 🤔 ♥️♥️♥️
There must be at least one room large enough to showcase/demonstrate old organs. What a wonderful 'side hustle' that would be for the convent--and a great help to collectors.
Hi All, Have been watching the channel for a couple of months now and have decided to subscribe. Am very excited to see how the Library turns out. I have to say Yanis is such a great worker, but my favourite is your dad he never seems to stop always doing something! Such a lovely family dynamic as you all support each other.
As an accountant, your Spode Receipt Thingy from the armoire gives me paroxysms of despair! LOL I know I'll be seeing a lot of those in the next few months as tax returns come due....
I used to be a receptionist for an Italian CPA in San Francisco in the early 80s and I definitely remember those big brown paper bags full of receipts! We had a lot of Italian deli and restaurants and our office would smell so delicious ♥️
I love the old furniture Beautiful peice fitting for the building looks like a bow front peice of furniture Happy to see your keeping within the period Congratulations to all the team ❤
Billy the original cupboard would look nice in the hall with an umbrella stand next to it , and the one that replaced it in the kitchen could be used in the dinning room to store cutlery and linens for special occasions .
My grandfather was a transport driver for SoCo (Southern Comfort) back in the 50s and 60s. So Southern Comfort is kind of a comfort drink. My parents always had some of that to procure and I did the same years later. Not quite whiskey but not really a liqueur lol. Modern SoCo. I’d like to think of a half n half type deal. By taste.
Wonder who get's the job to empty out the spade receipt bowl and put everything in the book keeping. I get the feeling that that part of renovating isn't Billy's favorite part. Love the armoire.
That Steptoe and Son theme took me so far back, when telly was still black and white and I was a youngun! I see a lot of others are feeling the same nostalgia!😊🌲🌴🇦🇮
Billy,Michael,Yanis and the rest. Both pieces of furniture are absolutely beautiful. What were you looking for at the scrapyard? The organ will be a beautiful addition to the chateau. How is Ryan? Until tomorrow. Please, take care and stay safe. I love you. Merry Christmas 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🕊😘🌈🌹😇🎄🎅❤️🦢🙏🇺🇸👍
The music choice at the beginning of the video is spot on. Steptoe & son aka Harrold and Albert. My daughter is 27 and absolutely loves watching old Steptoe & son with her grandparents. Love the selection on Whiskey and 1 bottle of Kraken Rum, my absolute favourite. You won't run dry of "Spirits" at the Convent
I've seen a few of these Dutch cabinets in great houses and they often use them for display and inverse the doors to that when in the open position you can see the outside of the doors. They are sometimes used as dollhouses.
I was at scrap yard for some car part I've since forgotten. What I do recall is a '30s' LaSalle sitting on it's axles that had a bit of surface rust, and that's it. I can't understand why that metal was so sound.
Beautiful piece of furniture Billy and it will look beautiful in the dining room. Talk about a party in a cupboard, that is quite the stash…LOL! Crack on!🇨🇦🎄❤️
Your Chateau is beautiful, I never realized all the beautiful antique furniture you have. Thank you for saving the organ, Billy, till tomorrow enjoy your evening.
Interesting seeing that old coal iron in the junkyard. I was given a brand new one when on vacation in Europe in ‘73 and it’s sitting on display in the living room. I remember as a kid, swinging it to get the coals hot for my seamstress older sister. Lots of memories in the furnishings in that convent.
It reminds me of the furniture in Beauty and the Beast. It looks like it could start speaking, telling you all about its history. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
I don't care what piece goes where, they all look great , great taste Billy in chateau or convent, amazing pieces...I could go mad in that junk yard, we repurpose lots of old junk for out shop, the old iron was cool...CHEERS boys...!
The cabinet Hollandaise is in fact a Zeeuws kabinet (south western part of the Netherlands). It was mainly used to store, and show, the most beautiful linen. It was a real showpiece in lot of the farmhouses in Zeeland, from the 18th to the beginning of the 20th century. The cabinet could be found in the most beautiful room of the house, mostly the sitting-/reception room......and certainly not in the kitchen 🙂
I have been to several distilleries in Kentucky. Angels Envy is in downtown Louisville and is very expensive. Makers Mark and Woodford Reserves have beautiful campuses. There is actually a “Bourbon Tour” that lists a bunch of distilleries you can visit. If you are ever in Kentucky, I recommend it! I think Jack Daniels is the best. But it’s whiskey and in Tennessee. 🧡
Have you thought about putting the refrigerator where the armoire is? Then if you moved the island closer to the sink wall, you would open up more room on the other side of the island for an informal table or line of two, three, or four smaller tables for less formal eating, especially “help-yourself breakfasts,”etc. The space between the sink wall and the island seems a bit wide, and would even work better if it was a bit narrower. Just some random thoughts that might make the kitchen more efficient.
Oh the new cabinet is much better than the old cubbie you tried so hard to save at the beginning but it just wasn’t working - compared to this - the old was trash, this is fabulous!!
Stunning piece of furniture! Well done, Billy & Yanis.
So happy to see & hear from Yanis each day.
He has a special place in my heart (old lady here, in Southern California) & I know I am not alone.
That music at the beginning takes me back 'you dirty old man' Steptoe and Sons 1960 -70 British sit-com. For non Brits they were scrap merchants.
Love it! Yanis is the BEST!
The USA had a comparable show “Sanford and Sons”
@@curtcarlson2038 Yes, the US show (initially aired 1972-1977) was based on the UK show (initially aired 1962-1974)
Showing our age now remembering that ❤
@@curtcarlson2038Redd Fox's real last name was actually Sanford.

Yanis is supervising… perfect! Great success!
That armoire hollandaise is GORGEOUS! What a beautiful find, Billy! Cant wait to see it in the dining room!
Love your new furniture. It is beautiful. 🩵

Fabulous episode! Very enjoyable! 😊❤👍thank you all!😊

Yes, I instantly recognised the opening music from Steptoe and son. I can still hear the cry, "Arrold"!
How lovely to see you both taking things easy! Great fun
Thankyou,,
Xx
Gorgeous armoire for the dining room, great idea to store it in the kitchen for now, it’ll be well protected.
Love the steptoe and son music Billy 😂another vlog to make my day thanks xxx💕💕💕
Glorious Spring dawn here in Tasmania Australia. Starting the day with a cup of tea and Billy, Yanis and Stan. Perfick.
Same here in Hobart 😂
A little damp in QLD. Have a great day. 😄
Best way to start the day, Newcastle ❤😊🇦🇺
Definitely damp here in Brisbane 🇦🇺
Overcast and breezy in Missouri, USA., and coffee, but enjoy every episode!
Perfect music for scrap picking 😂. Beautiful pieces of furniture! 🎄❤🐨
That cupboard is beautiful, but huge for that space. Will look great in dining room. Understand you putting it in controlled atmosphere. Well done!
It is going in the dining room once the room is finished
Billy - loving the humor & variety content during this holiday season! 🥰🥰🥰 Gosh -wouldn’t it be something if the other Organ in the future could find a new home at Chateau De La Pannard. 🤔

A BEAUTIFUL PIECE
That dresser looks like it came right out of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Love it!
There must be at least one room large enough to showcase/demonstrate old organs. What a wonderful 'side hustle' that would be for the convent--and a great help to collectors.
Did anyone actually LISTEN to the dialogue when Billy explained the cabinet is in the kitchen TEMPORARILY until they finish the dining room? Jeez! 😂
No I didn’t hear that!thanks for clarifying.. it doesn’t look great in that room..😅 but is a beautiful piece ! ❤
Yes, we all heard that. Why ?

loved the Steptoe & Sons music. Quality touch Billy 😂
Magnificent piece of furniture 💙🇬🇧
The armoire is gorgeous Billy 💕🧡👌
Lovely armoire❤
You guys are always so fun no matter the job!! 😂 Thank you for the wonderful entertainment!!

He did say it would eventually go in the dining room
The recycling centers here (Colorado) don't allow salvage. I'm glad it's an option for you. Looks like a nice collection of radiators can be had.
The cabinet I must say is totally gorgeous n captivated me on how the pieces all fit together Amazing
Love the antique iron, hope someone saved it.
Nice piece.

Oh dear! I must be older as I remember Before tv in north England!
Still warm and sunny greetings from Florida!
Love your Spode china receipt receptacle. Only you, Billy, would repurpose it.

Southern Comfort Eggnog !!! 👌
Beautiful piece of furniture Billy and it will look beautiful in the dining room. Talk about a party in a cupboard, that is quite the stash…LOL! Crack on!🇨🇦🎄❤️
Beautiful piece of furniture!
Yanis will help you out with all those bottles.
The amoir looks amazing
Love the music! Steptoe and Son? Not many viewers will remember that! You dad will!
Ooo! Think you might read the comments! More folks remember than you think!😂😂😂😊😊😊
Will be humming theme to Steptoe and Son for the rest of the afternoon.
Glad it's not staying in the kitchen. Lovely cabinet. Will look great in the dining room
A Louis vuitton backpack yanis very stylish.
Playing in a scrap metal place is so much fun😊
Esp. with White Sneakers.
This is a pretty nice collection of spirits!
Cheers!
🥃🥃🥃
Nice collection! My husband would love to try some of those. He has quite the collection too of whisky and scotch.
We also have most of those.
Love the Steptoe and Son theme😀
LOL most people in the US consider Southern Comfort the cough syrup of liquors but I still pick up a bottle now and then 🙃 😊😊😅
I thought you were collecting bottles for the bar opening.🤣 Salute to Tuesday 🥃❤️🤍💙
I once drank a whole bottle of Southern Comfort and orange juice, never again.
If you mix Southern Comfort with cranberry juice you have a Scarlett O'Hara. Guaranteed to make you sick as a dog.
I sugest you find a safe to lock away Sothern Comfort if I ever come near your Chateau!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Your Chateau is beautiful, I never realized all the beautiful antique furniture you have. Thank you for saving the organ, Billy, till tomorrow enjoy your evening.
Haha the Steptoe and Son music love it 😊
The steptoe and son theme tune made me smile

You have some nice distills there!! Billy I will take the Blanton’s from you! I’m collecting the Lonnie’s!

Billy, have you tried the Jack Daniels Fire? It's absolutely gorgeous. The JD honey is scrumptious too.
Burst out laughing watching that intro with Steptoe and Son music. Brilliant x
Great video , the banjo song that you used reminds me of the theme from Steptoe and Son. lol
Todays end pose….Billy Petherick, you’r bullying me!😂😂😂
Some of those spirits are from my area. You can take tours and get samples, has become quite the tourist activity.
Love the Steptoe music. Beautiful piece of furniture
Southern Comfort ! Yehaa! Whiskey based. Only one I buy.
Enjoying your videos. I live in Tennessee USA. Am also distant relative of Jack Daniels. His whiskey is made here in Tennessee!

I would perfer it more in the huge dining room not in the kitchen 😊
Guys, Billy said it was only on the kitchen for protection after being in a damp shed. It’s destined for the dining room when finished!
how do we send fan mail, would love to get the team something, love from Kansas City!
Beautiful. Glad u got it. Stay safe and warm
That furniture is gorgeous, I hope it will go in the finished dining room eventually

I didn't hear you read out Crown Royal whiskey. From Gimli Manitoba Canada
Beautiful piece , it will be beautiful in the dining room
You need a bottle of Canadian Club and Crown Royal in your collection.
That piece will look magnificent in the dining room when it’s finished 🎉🎉
I love all the antique furniture, some pretty amazing pieces. I guess Stan and Sadie are getting an organ at Pannard as well. lol Have a great day
loved the music, took me right back to 1960's English childhood
I liked the first one. This is to ornate for this kitchen that is very modern with light wood.
I remember just listening to that music when I was little. My mum used to watch Steptoe and Son.
Hahaha love the reference to steptoe 🤣🤣🤣 at the beginning guys 😂😂
Just gorgeous - I'll take two!!
Oh the new cabinet is much better than the old cubbie you tried so hard to save at the beginning but it just wasn’t working - compared to this - the old was trash, this is fabulous!!
Beautiful piece of furniture 😊
That scrap yard looked pretty cool... there was the most enormous cog in the background that looked like it weighed a tonne!
Fabulous piece of furniture.
