I enjoyed hearing the reading of a poem by Robert Service. In 2000 I took an overland trip from Whitehorse to Dawson City and there visited Robert Service’s cabin where several poems were read to us by the guide. I so enjoy your videos and the adventures that bring back memories of my own travels in Canada.
I know you’ll be on the road this Winter, and with the new truck, probably not the year. But when you can, do get a wood splitter. It is money so well spent. Stopped where they had harvested trees by my house with my handyman and his chainsaw. They always leave a pile of wood in the field. He sawed them to the right length, I loaded the back of his pickup and got home where he split it so fast. Almost 3 cords of hardwood. They are so fast, even my old one ❤ you won’t ever regret getting one.
What a breathtaking country Canada is. You are blessed to be surrounded by such beauty! By the by, growing up in Minnesota everyone drinks their coffee black. You have to ask for cream and sugar. When you are at a restaurant they automatically put down a Thermal Jug of coffee at 7pm. In Georgia where I have lived 50 years, black coffee is unheard of. And coffee on the table at 7pm, nope, a pitcher of Ice Tea is put on the tables. Viva la difference ❤ 😅😅😅 10 gallons of back up gas is amazing! I put 10 gallons in my Honda every two weeks. I don’t drive much now that I’m retired. That is so great you have that backup tank. Good safety move. Lando riding Shotgun in the front seat was completely adorable 🥰 ❤❤❤❤❤ Moose burgers??? Aren’t they real gamey flavored?????
"Never Cry Wolf" showed some aspects of survival in the north. I wonder where bears hibernate up there. They say some Polar bears are "turning brown" due to climate change. The terrain/vegetation reminds me a little bit of the Canol in the NWT. Thanks for taking the time to show us.
Beautiful video, amazing footage! There was so much smoke over Quebec, Ontario and now New York last week and you didn't experience any of that smoke-amazing!
I really enjoyed this video and I enjoyed listening to the Beautiful poem as well thank you for letting us all go on your Journeys we really enjoy them
Sunday morning coffee with beautiful scenery from northern quebec with the EFAdventure...number 154 LIKE, woot woot, loving all the ariel drone shots and the narration of each beautifully choreography segment!! (Well done) Cheers, 1000 islands Canada
Love you guys. Hubby and I can't get enough of y'alls great adventures. Please keep posting and be cautious in your travels. God bless your family. Love Lando,so precious.
What a special moment that was for you to have the wolf visit your camp so closely. You experienced a phenomenon that occurred sometime between 20,000 to 30,000 years ago, as wolves became more 'familiar' and accustomed to humans and eventually, by whatever behavior, led humans to befriend them and the new species of canis familiaris subsequently developed.
I've been wondering if anyone has an idea how many miles Lando has logged. He may just be the top dog in the world as far as miles ran. He already has to the top dog of airtime. More than Lassie!
I love this so much. All the interaction with each other and your dog. So awesome. Thank you for taking us along to see the many beautiful places that some of us will never get to see. 🙏❤️🤗
Very soothing wild video! The wild called me in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming. And destitute set in mid winter during a blizzard when you can not leave and no one can come in! A Garmin GPS unit which ties to satellites was my guide. A chip with Wyo maps was installed. Lando...."What's next!?" Thanks for the field trip!
Yea you might have a failing fuel pump or clogged filter. Not sure where the filter is on the jk model. Most garage can check the fuel pressure. Good luck awesome footage.
I was worried a little bit when I read the "Is this the end?" But then I said, not is not, this is my Epic Family! God is always watching over them.😊 I know the engine problem is going to be fixed and you will continue your amazing trip. And we are going to keep enjoying the beautiful scenery of lakes, wild life, mother nature, is food for our souls. Carol, my dear girl, I hope you'll find the antlers.🫎 Okay, dear hearts, I'm ready for the next video. Lando, a big hug for you!🐕 God bless you all!!!
Hey guys… I wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for making these videos for us.. I discovered your channel after my husband took me to tuktoyatuk for our 30th anniversary last august..it’s was the most amazing trip of my life.. you guys actually went about the same time just a few days behind us.. I wish I would have known of you guys on that trip.. or I woulda looked out for ya! I know it was about the same time cause we saw that fire and wreck aftermath on that bridge with that tanker truck.. it must have happened when we were on the dempster already… my amazing husband let me fulfill a dream of being above the Arctic circle.. and even to the Arctic Ocean. He has terminal brain cancer but he’s doing so well and we try to have as many fun adventures as we can… while we can. We are planning another trip around the same time to explore more roads in the Yukon.. we had our truck with camper top last time.. but this time we are taking my new rav4.. so we can go on rougher roads.. we tried the north canol road but it was to hard on the camper so we want to go back with the car. Anyhow… as I sit and watch your newest episode it gives me a chance to forget the sadness in my life and I escape with you and your family for 30 mins.. I had never even heard of the trans tiaga road.. it’s stunning. You guys do such an amazing job with your videos.. I can sit and watch for hours on end.. so keep up the exploring and adventures and maybe we will see u guys on the road sometime! And again,..thank you all… for letting us join you guys on so many “epic “adventures ! 😊
Thank you for sharing this. You’re so thankful that we can provide some inspiration for your upcoming trips and adventures together. So sad to hear about your husband but it’s great that you are using your time so well together. Much love from our family to you and yours.
I believe you went south at Brisay where you should have continued east towards Caniapiscau where the last large levee is. That's the true end of the TTR and from what I've seen, far more scenic and much better road conditions.
Interesting! Breathtaking country - it is so wonderous that something so beautiful can kill you in a heart beat as well. That white lichen was gorgeous! Good job folks and thanks for taking us along.
Nice brings back memories . If you had of turned left and got to the official end of the Trans Taiga at Caniapiscau , back in there , there is a fly in fishing place that has fuel , there is also a beautiful beach to camp on with loads of drift wood . Anyway I'm glad you didn't run out of fuel , and made it back to Mirage. There is a rough road-track that continues past the "official" end of the Trans Taiga , and it goes a further 120 or 140 kilometres past the official end at Caniapiscau. I hope you get the fuel issue sorted in your one Jeep . Cheers , Wild Bill , Jeep Overlanding the wildest most remote regions of Northern Canada . Never stop exploring!!
Wow, didn’t realize the road went so far back in the bush. We are planning to go back in the fall one year. Such an awesome area. Have a wonderful day.
@@EFRT Thanks I'm just about to leave on my trip up to NWT , Yukon and to Tuk then northern BC . Yeah I want to do the Trans Taiga again as well , in the Fall , should hit me up when you want to go , if you don't mind some company , I think it would be fun . Cheers , Wild Bill , Jeep overland the remotest places in Canada....and the world if given the chance!!! Never stop exploring.
@@EFRT Thanks. Now that I think of it , that turn you made at Brisay that took you away from the official end of the Trans Taiga is the track that goes further into the bush by about 120 or 140 kilometres . I was going to do it but decided to head back...next time though , maybe the Fall trip , in the future. A person could fuel up at the fly in fishing place near Caniapiscau then head to Brisay and turn down the way you went and take the track right o the end , that would be the furthest point from a town on a road -track in NA . I believe at that point you would be 860 or 870 kilometres from the nearest town... pretty cool !!! Wild Bill, Jeep Overland the most remote beautiful places on earth. Never stop exploring!!

Another fantastic video. Thanks for taking us along on the journey Peter, you doing a great job as far as editing and narrating. 👏 ok 👌🏼🔥🤠🔥Camping Russ out
I was honestly expecting some comment on the forest fires in the area you are in. It certainly didn't appear to be an issue for you... safe travels, folks!
You guys did a great job was very exciting and scary at times but you’re doing such a wonderful job of explaining the whole concept of traveling in the wild it’s unbelievable I know we all appreciate you so much. May God keep you safe and thank you so much.❤
An amazing trip!! Well done 👍 . It’ll be a great trip too with bikes. Pretty intense huh with Vandy’s fuel issues I was certainly feeling nervous for you. Loved how Lando owns his posture in the seat - Like yeah we are done and dusted…almost half expect him to answer you - too funny 😂
Great trip, thanks for sharing. Question??? After you filled up with gas and groceries in Mirage, why didn’t you turn around and head back for the left hand fork an do the official end of the Trans Taiga???
Such a great adventure, my heart was pounding in anticipation what your next mile would bring.. what a great journey. So very happy for your spirit of adventure. God bless your family. Love your vids. Blessings to you all.
So happy you achieved what you had hoped you would, despite being on the wrong road. I love the Wolf and Bear sightings. So cool. I always find myself looking for bears when Lando is running. I dont know what I think I can do anyway, but it always crosses my mind. 🐕🐻❤️🇦🇺🦘
Amazing video as always! Curious about Lando.. Have you guys had an encounter when driving on a trail and Lando is running and then a bear is close by or other big wildlife? What does Lando do?
Love your videos! How did you get your dog to lead the way on the trails? We run our Airedales on cross country trails and forest trails but would love to have them run ahead while we drive our sxs especially in the UP
Wish we could say we trained him to do that but the truth is he just started on his own and never stopped. We did use a Garmin collar to send a tone to him every time he would get sidetracked or leave the road. Eventually he just learned to stick to the trail. Hope that helps.

I don't get it? it's not beautiful, after 10 miles or kilometres it's all the same. It's obviously cold ... guys do a truthful account of how you feel.
We love roads like this. We don’t drive them for the scenery. We came here for the wilderness, and the remoteness of it all. We came here to see the great Taiga forest growing on permafrost, and the Bears wolves and linx that have hardly ever seen another human being. Driving the most remote road in North America has an element of danger and requires careful planning and preparation. I guess that’s what makes it such an excellent adventure. Hope you have a wonderful day.

You bet!
Safe travels. Love all of your videos. ❤ Just wondering how far back or how old r your videos, with right now to date with the fires in Canada .
We’ve had several days of soaking rain, and the fire bans are lifted and the fires are mostly under control or out. Thankfully.
Music choices were excellent. Dan, you have found your calling. Have you thought of narrating audio books or documentaries?
Thanks 🙏🏻

We were experiencing some mechanical issues with Vandi and didn’t want to risk heading all the way back and having a breakdown out there. 👍🏻

Awesome video as always Epic Family Road Trip. These road was so awesome definitely a bucket list item.
What an awesome trip/experience
Hello from SW Florida! Good morning 🌴🌴
Good Morning!
Hi epic family we always Enjoying watching your vlog. Shoutout from Philippines.....
Awesome! Thank you! 🇵🇭
Anyway that you could pasting your GPS coordinates? I like to refer to the map while watching.
Thx
Andre
Enjoyed your journey. Thanks for taking us along. How many kilometres to the tank full and do you have long range fuel tanks?
Normally we can get about 430 kms per tank. Yes we have “Long-range America” auxiliary fuel tanks on both Jeeps.
Every one is having the same issue with the jet boiler igniter. Not good for such an expensive product.
Good mornin 👋😎👍
Awesome trip guys! You definitely need to come and cross the Central Kalahari over here!
Agreed. Definitely on the bucket list.
I want to go on another adventure!!
P.s Lando is one lucky Dog....stretching those legs is a pre-requisite indeed!!
So happy you achieved what you had hoped you would, despite being on the wrong road.
I love the Wolf and Bear sightings. So cool. I always find myself looking for bears when Lando is running.
I dont know what I think I can do anyway, but it always crosses my mind. 🐕🐻❤️🇦🇺🦘
Hear in the UK we are hearing reports or very big Forrest fires north of Quebec. And in British Columbia .
Thankfully we got a lot of rain lately at least here in Ontario. It’s definitely helped with the situation. 👍🏻
Got the antler:)
Amazing video as always! Curious about Lando.. Have you guys had an encounter when driving on a trail and Lando is running and then a bear is close by or other big wildlife? What does Lando do?
This is a nice scenery. … quick question, do you pick up after the dog does his business? The sent may be not good for the natural wildlife.
As always... Another great episode! At what speed are you traveling as Lando is running?
He usually runs at about 30km/h consistently. 🐾
I hope the fires have not been a problem or maybe y'all have filmed before they broke out or maybe futher north. Stay safe my friend's
There was a little bit of smoke in the air, but nothing much. Have a wonderful day.
How do you keep Lando safe from any predatros while having him run loose as you guys drive? I'd love to do this with my dogs.
Mostly bears and other wildlife are afraid of people and dogs and run away before we even get there 👍🏻
Interesting, are you guys experiencing any of the issues from the fires?
There was a little bit of smoke in the air further south, but nothing up north. 👍🏻
Why do they put the jeeps up on rocks for the overnight
The rocks are to help level out the Jeep for a comfortable sleep. 🛌 👍🏻
Does anyone know what stove they use to cook with
Jetboil Genesis 2 Camp Stove 👍🏻

As much as I LOVE MY JEEP WRANGLER 4X4? It CERTAINLY HAS COME WITH HER ISSUES!!!!!
Love the call of the Wild. Hopefully Vandy is fixable..
Going this deep in the tundra. Do you ever worry about Lando having an encounter with a black bear?
Yes it’s always a concern. Thankfully they are very shy and run away from the sound of the Jeeps.
☺️💕
Hey are you guys worried about the fires? How’s your other family members doing?
We are back in Ontario and enjoyed 3 days of great soaking rain 🌧️
Who maintains those roads?
Hydro-Québec. 👍🏻
Is that the new zoom lense? What do you use against mosquitoes 🦟
Thermacells help around camp. 👍🏻
2/23/24 - How can the dog possibly have any pads left on his feet?
He’s using them for what they were meant to do. 🐾 👍🏻
😍😍👍👍👍👍

WITH ALL THE RANDOM FIRES STARTING ARE YOU NOT A LITTLE CONCERNED?
We had three days of good heavy rain, so the fires are no longer an issue
thankfully.

The EFRT is too far in the camping trip game to have an end to it.
