Greetings, this is Rev.Glen Horn from Pensacola,Fl. My wife and I have watched you guys for quite some time. I was give a dream that we met up with you during your travels; we put you up for the night. The Lord God had me pray over you son Peter to be healed and delivered from diabetes. I am agreeing with God’s Word that states in Isaiah 53 that “By Jesus’ Stripes (Pete)is healed! You are a blessing to all the world; you are an inspiration to those who have lost all hope. God is about to doing some radical things in your lives and step up events awaiting you. Daddy, you show much humbleness and compassionate to your blessed family and humanity. Carol, you display strength when it get tough. Your handsome distinguished boys are so blessed with strength, courage, compassion and much care. Caroline is moving forward at such unbelievable speed. Your beautiful children are such an inspiration to those contemplating suicide or such giving up! I see Pete full of peace, love and compassion; I see Daniel full of strength and authority. I see Caroline writing a auto-biography on the family, I see walking toward being a world historian. Never think Daddy that you failed your family; you have been an inspiration to them, you never gave up when times were tough. The devil seeks to steel, kill and destroy, but Jesus gave you and your precious family life and gave it more abundantly. On those days when things look bleak, read Psalms 139, it states just what God thinks personally about you!! It is sensational! God richly bless you and keep you, the Lord make His Face to shine upon you and be gracious to you, the Lord lift up His countenance to you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26. We love you all. Stay in God’s Perfect Will daily and you won’t ever fail!!! Claim Isaiah 54:17 daily! Take care!🙏
Sunday morning Tradition (addiction) ....Loving Pete's narration at the start and of course the transition to full time overlanding (simplified way of life) ....and how you came to your OVERLANDING steroid induced channel .....always go back to your time in Tofino (which is on my bucket list thats for sure!) Thank you for educating your community on so many topics and levels....the wanderlust in me just craves the idea of travelling more in retirement!!! Cheers, 1000 islands Canada!!
This information of the way you prepare yourselves for your travels, is also important for those who are planning to do something similar as you. Great information, covering from emergency situations, camping and all other things to make the journey more enjoyable. In my case, just in my imagination, I'm traveling to those beautiful places sitting in the back seat next to Lando. 😊🐕I loved the videos when the kids were smaller and puppy Lando. Dear hearts, thank you again for letting us go with you via these amazing videos. God bless you all!!!!
Yeah, I have 35 inch wheels. But I don't do the adventures that your guys do. I just think it looks cool on my Ivy Girl!! I have 2 blue lights on my front bumper for off-road.
Really great walk around. I hope your second addition to this video will be the underneath if you had to re-gear ratio, it with the larger tires. The suspension change out the axles? did you have to change out the rocker arms stuff like that a great walk around. I also love the front intro. Movie addition to this video. Excellent job ok 👌🏼 🔥🤠🔥Camping Russ out
I have the Warn Winch, my winch has a steal cable. I would most definitely recommend testing it out often. I have used it once or twice. The one time I tried to use it this past winter? It didn't work. I aqm guessing that the batter needed to be replaced. And, my bumper had rusted out about 2 years ago. I brought it to the body shop to have it sanded and blasted down and reapplied my bumper coverage. Guess what, it's rusting out again. It kind of erks me for sure.
Love the intro to this video. I know it’s been said many times but we live vicariously through these videos every week! Very informative this week. I’m going to check out the attached privacy tent! Good job editing Peter.
I have been waiting gor this video!!!! I have a 2007 Jeep Wrangler, and my husband and I love to camp. We usually bring out 6 personal tent and pack it up in our Jeep with a non-Yeti Cooler, cuz we can't afford one. But, the cooler we have does us just fine because we are weekend campers. I am so looking forward to your setup.
Awesome informative video ,loved all the information you supplied for us to see . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) :) :) :) 🐕:) 😁👍🏼
Thanks Peter for an informative video and update, I was wondering how you liked the JXL platform and no surprise it is working out great....giving me some food for thought!
Great video , I just bought myself a 2011 Jk 2 door . Hope to have a few adventures in it . I am 70 so nothing too extreme. A fellow Canadian from eastern Ontario.
Cool! THX for sharing your Informations! The problem with the front bumper is in Germany (and other things)... Our TÜV is a "Fun break"! The Intro is very nice with all your pictures from your adventures!!! Best greetings from Bavaria! Olli 👋🙂
Awesome video as always Epic Family Road Trip. Both of y'all's Jeeps are awesome and really functional for all types of Overlanding. The Rubicon has always been my favorite model for Jeeps. But did you know that Carol's Jeep Arctic edition there were as far as I know only 1,113 ever made with that package.
Now watching this makes sense. I couldn’t figure out why you where doing this repeat on Worsley. Now I get it. It was just so strange. But now with the kids shooting off in three different directions your heads must have been spinning. It will all work out, always does❤️
I never knew you guys went sky diving ! that's awesome , I have to go back and look for it . Hope Caroline is enjoying the peace corps . Can you ask her to share some footage of that I think it would be neat to see , I've never experienced it myself but I've known people who have, and would like to experience it , in someway , I think alot of people would .
Hi and thank you for this episode. If it’s at all possible I would love to see how you actually use the JXL while on trail when inside and closed up. How you get in, then how you close the Jeep up (back window and tailgate) for the night from inside, and then how you actually get up and down from the top to sleep and use actually use the lower inside area while the Jeep is closed up and then get out in the morning. Is it easy or difficult? You are the only JXL users I know of where I can see it in action.
Love you all through the years and into the continuum!! What are you all gonna do with your Leaders Rulling against anything good shared!? What happens if you share a prayer at the table now!? It’s so crazy!!!! I’m praying for you all!
Love your channel and look forward to Sunday video releases. Great family. If possible, please provide additional detail on the make/model of the rear awning that appears at 26:10. Finding an awning option to properly cover the tailgate area of my Ram Rebel for food prep has proven difficult. Most 270 awnings only give partial coverage. Thanks
If you ever come to Atlantic Canada, I'd love to do a rig comparison. I have some tire advise, or statistics to share here for your build. I have been running Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT's for two seasons in 295/70R-18 (34.5x12"). I just recently changed (same tire) to 255/85R-17 (34.5x10") and reduced my highway fuel consumption by 2.7L/100km! From 16.0 down to 13.3! Narrower really is better for travel.
totally love everything about your videos but hoping you can elaborate on sleeping in the JXL-that is how much do you use the upper bed vs sleeping on the jeep floor. Thanks so much. Have been looking at them (myself and my dog) for a while trying to figure out space usage for comfort of sleeping, cooking quick meals in the camper on bad weather days. Looking forward toany feedback you can share... thanks again!
Have you figured the departure angle since adding the rear extension to the Jeep? It looks like it may be similar to the Gladiator but that is just an uneducated guess on my part.
I would like to know more about the sleeping arrangements inside, do you sleep at the tent/roof level or at the car floor level? i.e. does the pop up roof come with some kind of platform inside?
Great walk through. Three questions I’d have: Is that light bar kind of low for you with your height? Do you have locking axle? I ask because you’ve been places that most seem to need them. If you haven’t, it would be a cost saver. What does this weigh fully loaded, extra fuel, etc. Really like your rigs!
Great video, I try to contact JXL several times to buy the conversion for my JLU, but never got any response…….. I live untie Netherlands and would love to have this extension. Best regards, Guido
Thanks for the info! I’m not sure how best to reach them. I would assume email might be the best way. I’m pretty sure they can only sell in North America though. The original company is from France they’re called Gazelle.
Have you reallocated the reverse camera? I see you have a trash bag and max trax mounted on the spare tire. If yes, where did you allocate the reverse cam, and which camera did you use? Thanks for the great content.
For the radios what do you guys use in Canada? Heard you talk about the Midlands 40Watt but thought you couldn’t use anything above 2 or 5 watts (not sure which one). Love the videos!
While watching this I was wondering about the stability of the Jeeps with all that added weight - it has to move the center of gravity up somewhat. Did you get different springs and shocks?
1:58 Did you guys actually participate in a Pilot Whale stranding in NZ? I'm a Marine Mammal Medic and former 'Project Jonah Whale Rescue' National Board member in NZ.
I think laws regarding what you're allowed to have on the car and what not do not apply to tourist passing by this long as long is legal where the car is registered. I could be wrong but otherwise North American cars would not be allowed to drive thru Europe. North American headlights, taillights are not legal in Europe.
I just want to say that I love watching your adventures and I hope to be able to do this with my family one day

@ 0:15 Look at how little the kids and Lando are!!! Be still my heart!! Like all parents wonder, how did they all grow up so fast?
Thank you so much for sharing with us famz, we enjoy watching and learning. Take care and stay safe from your kiwiNZ famz❤❤❤❤❤

These details are so informative, and absolutely fascinating! Looking forward to your next trip! THANKS AGAIN FOR SHARING EVERYTHING.
On a Ferry boat to Juneau AK, watching the video :)
HEY! Good morning and thumbs UP to Epic Family!!
Good morning.
The historical montage was awesome! So fun to watch!
Its time to grow the family channel and branch out amongst yourselves potentially equating to 1M subscribers as a whole!
My favorite picture is at 1:01. I love it!!
A lot of work has been done behind the scenes... Grear job !

Another Epic Road Show! Shared this video with a few of my overlander friends🎉

LOVE this intro...❤ I'm not crying. Your rig is great! Thank you for sharing.

Yes! We love the comfort of the heater.

Thank you so much!
Thanks Peter for an informative video and update, I was wondering how you liked the JXL platform and no surprise it is working out great....giving me some food for thought!
If God said there would be another flood upon the earth the Van Stralens would be the next family like Noah

Any motor, transmission, differenciel modification? The jeep is amazing but it should be heavy
I wish you would have mentioned the weight of the Jeep when it’s ready to roll but this video does relieve my stress about my overloaded jku!
Wow great jeep adventure 😊👍💯

Always enjoy your videos. Just curious, how many miles on Vandi and Worsley?
Vandi 300k Worseley 150k 👍🏻

You are correct. It is very similar to a gladiator in terms of departure angle. Thanks for watching. Have a wonderful day!
I wish I could get a Rig like
That one where could I
Even if getting one like that one?
I’m impressed.

It's so blessing to watch you guys. Being alone and watching guys always give me a hope to live on. Thank you

Great walk through.

Hi there, sorry, I don’t remember what camera it is but we moved about the license plate
When are you coming to South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana ??
Hopefully, sometime in ‘24
Considering the proximity to power sources, are there any problems with prolonged electro-magnetic field exposure on your body?
Hopefully not.
For the radios what do you guys use in Canada? Heard you talk about the Midlands 40Watt but thought you couldn’t use anything above 2 or 5 watts (not sure which one).
Love the videos!
In Canada you can use a GMRS radio up to 2 watts without license. I think it is not legal above 2 watts, maybe i’m wrong, I dont have all the details.
Yes, you’re probably right we are not too sure about the rules here.
❤❤
So, are you coming to Oz?
It’s definitely on the list 🇦🇺
Hello Epic Family what are you guys using for protection (knives, bear spray, pistol or rifle) since you guys camp remotely just curious
While watching this I was wondering about the stability of the Jeeps with all that added weight - it has to move the center of gravity up somewhat.
Did you get different springs and shocks?
Yes they are very stable with the upgraded suspension systems. One is the AEV system and the other is by ARB.
1:58 Did you guys actually participate in a Pilot Whale stranding in NZ? I'm a Marine Mammal Medic and former 'Project Jonah Whale Rescue' National Board member in NZ.
Yes we did at Farewell Spit on the South Island. 🐋

Try Method Bead Grip rims
Have you guys considered swapping to diesel?
We looked into it but are back in business with a new engine 👍🏻

Have you ever weighed your Jeeps?
Yes about 6200lbs
Channel seems weird without Caroline and her narration voice.
Yes, we all miss her.
uh oh
❤ ✌️
Great Rig -
You don't find the need to instal rock sliders - considering the kind of traveling you all do???
Most of the time we don't, but then we get into the mountains and all of the sudden we are glad we have them.
@@EFRT Oh - so you do have rock sliders"
Yes on Worsley. 👍🏻
@@EFRT Ok - I must have been looking at the other Jeep with the electric step - Hence the confusion.
