Not only are they giving these families furniture so they can live a better life, they are designing a pretty nice house! It is so nice to know that there are good people out there who are trying and succeeding to help others.
This channel was such a good stumble upon. I have to say your video's are VERY well done. The audio is great. The Video is excellent. The graphic art is definitely superb! My wife and are (if looks were deceiving then we would win the award), minimalist with Vagabond hearts temporarily stuck in modern day life. We are absolutely fascinated with your adventures. Don't stop making video's, they're the best in travel journalism for UA-cam. Thank you and keep up the great work!!
Look at it, it's not his full time home, you think that's all that old man has collected his entire life, this is just a man cave for him he has a real house obviously. Damn people have lost there ability to rationale think beyond what they're told.
Lyn za Short bursts of inspired and inspiring realities are the point of the peek into other "great big stories." Where would any one person's story possibly end, really? There are also 40-ish minute vids on one subject.
Ok the homeless family just melted my heart ❤️ Mom was so grateful and appreciative....I know she will give back and help others as she and her family have been helped....so happy to see stories like this.💕
I'm glad to see a positive comment about this, among the other negative ones. Before I moved to a different state in US, I volunteered for an organization similar to Humble Design. Every time I saw the joy in the eyes of those who needed help, it touched my heart. They were so grateful and appreciated even the smallest things.💕
Jaw dropping videos about precious people receiving great things they need, and neat living alternatives that I have NEVER heard of. This went from " oh!"...to, "OH!!"...to "Oh my goodness!!!"....to "WHAT?????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?" ...to "Ohhhh!!!! THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!" AMAZING CONTENT!!!! Thank you andPLEASE KEEP SHARING!!!! I RARELY sub but YOU will most DEFFFF be one I subscribe to!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The retirement home and Furniture help and the Shelter family is BEAUTIFUL. My mother is emotionally and physically abusive yet I still love her. I want to wake up and leave! She is so strong.
I’ve been watching these videos for hours upon hours. It started with Barnaby Dixon and then I just couldn’t stop because there were so many people doing what they loved and living in a way that resonated with them. This is so inspiring.
oh my the stars are unbelievable! In grade 10 we had a 10 day hike through central Australia (more specifically, the Larapinta Trail near Alice Springs), and there happened to be a meteor shower one night. I get goosebumps just thinking about it! Would recommend, beautifully unique place.
@@creativecosmos8922 I'd never seen the night sky without light pollution until a few years ago (currently 23) was out in western NSW, very close to the QLD and NT borders. It took my breath away. It was amazing to see the milky way in person. And it's not like I live in the city or anything, just 2 hours north of Sydney, and about 30 minutes away from Newcastle. So I do see plenty of stars at night, but i never realised quite how much i was not seeing.
I used to lie in a hillstation/City which was fairly small. People would come there for vacationing and there was this road that connected our town to a major city and it was only used by trucks the first time We travelled along that road I saw the prettiest starts ever. It was truly breathtaking, now I live in a city and i can't remember the last time I saw the stars.
I like how you put the last one in the video, next to those super amazing houses, like to significate that even if it's not the most special place ever, it's your home and it's still fantastic for you
If you haven't seen it already, I'd recommend the Big Lez show, it's Australian gold. A little like Rick and Morty, it's fantastically crude, hilarious humour. The 'Trippa Snippa' is one of my favourites. Not sure whether many people outside of Australia know it or not!
The fact that he can fish on his couch in a massive body of water.. man am I jealous. I have to wonder though how he built that structure and if he had help..?
Great Big Story, you guys are amazing!! Fantastic stories, presented perfectly!! Not too much, or too little.. its stuff we all find intriguing, fascinating and interesting.. not to mention better for the brain than most of the stuff on the net...THANKYOU❤
I love watching these. I am so tired of people fighting and deaths all over the news. It is so refreshing to see people help each other or just excited to talk about their hobbies. A few of these videos had me tear up. Just happy to see others truly happy. Thank you for this amazing channel on UA-cam. P.s. I love the weird and different. It really does make us human.
That last one was so awesome. Like she said people don’t think or realize that some people live like that because they can’t afford anything else. If you can barely afford rent and food you definitely can’t afford furniture. I grew up where this was the case sometimes because my mom was raising 3 of us on her own and you may think living that way is easy as long as you have a roof over your head but you don’t realize just how important these things are until you don’t have them. Even for the kids like they can’t invite friends over or have sleepovers because you’re embarrassed or just don’t have the means. So that’s pretty awesome that they were able to do that. ♥️♥️♥️
damn, I started the video out intrigued and ended the video crying. the girl living in the retirement home is a wonderful idea and I wish I could have done something like that! and the last video of the helping home group was so touching.
that floating house looks like something out of a movie from studio Gibli
Felipe Igarashi ikr
That's exactly what I thought!
missing an h! it’s ghibli :)
Felipe Igarashi it's Ghibli -,-

The retirement dorm is a living sitcom
Wisewoe Tiswell on the internet, that is.
It’s so pretty and elegant!
Toby Dewey 😂😂
Soo cute
But damn, the inevitability of losing a friend at your time there just makes it kinda sad
I loved the fishing from the living room couch.
DCFunBud just imagine:
Wife: Honey? Where are you?
Husband: In the living room!
Wife: Doing what?
Husband: Oh just fishing!
The second couple can live through a zombie apocalypse
MysticGaming thats exactly what im thinking lol
Unless zombies can float and swim they’ll be good
Unless zombies start spawning on their little island lmao. 😂😂
Royal true XD
The third one tho is definitely a contestant
Not only are they giving these families furniture so they can live a better life, they are designing a pretty nice house! It is so nice to know that there are good people out there who are trying and succeeding to help others.
That last one made me cry
Nvm just cried
That last story was boring! This video was titled jaw dropping homes, how does the last two stories fit into jaw dropping homes.
@@Heisenbrick Check your priveledges you uncultured swine.
xOAKx Dusk I was teary too😔
Bryson Gainey I agree. That’s just lazy people not wanting to work and feed off the city. I say stop helping ingrates and see what happens
The underground house was actually quite cool.
Alpha
Wonderful indeed I want them to dig me own. It would be refreshing in there specially in summer or winter would be nice warm and fuzzy...
They're very common in central Australia
Yeah it looks sick...6 feet under....ALLREADY THERE BUDDY
Pun intended?
Kinda scary
The guys on the floating house are the cutest couple ever.
I absolutely love what Humble Design is doing for these less fortunate families, it’s truly amazing!
They are giving free stuff to lazy ghetto people

pwnd331 oh. So now I feel sort of stupid
Kwadens, Nope, think of it as if it were the better side of CNN.
i love the floating house
Igor Della Pietra I want to live there
I live right next to a floating house. Vancouver Island has SO MANY OF THEM.
TheUKNutter oh really? Btw I live in Vancouver
Jagason Go to the island! There’s so many of them, and a lot of floating houses are used for the homeless
Uhm. So how about their human wastes? It goes in the water right? Eaten by the fishes they capture and eat?
that last one is fucking amazing:) people like them deserve a special place in heaven.
ikr
Gods mistake Noted.
Laura got grandma-zoned
A. Shakur hahahahahahah
*Laura got grandma-zoned*
The guy who built the floating home structure makes me think of a real Ron Swanson
YUNGBASEDPROPHET IKR
The guy is a sculptor and his wife is a dancer
More like the other Ron in my opinion
The accuracy!!!!
The man living in a plane....he needs to hone his decorating skills a little more
Kary J. It is functional tho
I’m it’s a heckin airplane

Laura's and Sarah's friendship is wholesome
Tiffany and that older lady has such a cute friendship
He names boards and nails?
but wow can you imagine being able to fish from your living room? That would be the best thing in the world.
The naming boards thing was just an expression.
Does anyone know if there are longer versions of these videos anywhere? I feel like I'm only getting a taste of these stories sometimes
Nah man, this is the channrl. They do BTS stuff on their social media though, so go check that out.
Thomas Newton If you're okay with audio, give 99% Invisible a try.
Thomas Newton The aircraft is greek XD (olympic air)
ya iv seen a couple of these whole videos.. they took small segments of whole stories to make this video

My jaw literally dropped
wow its been 2 years and you have 3 likes ;-; AND YOUR SECOND IN THE TOP COMMENTS LIST
Nope. Not crying at all over the last couple of stories. Must be allergies or some dust in my eye. Ahhhh...the feels!!
I love how the second people could fish in their living room just sitting on the coach
That last one legit made me cry, such a selfless idea to help the ones who need it which such a simple but important thing!
i would like the underground one! Coming out at night and looking at the (nearly) clean sky and see the most breathtaking stars!
oh my the stars are unbelievable! In grade 10 we had a 10 day hike through central Australia (more specifically, the Larapinta Trail near Alice Springs), and there happened to be a meteor shower one night. I get goosebumps just thinking about it! Would recommend, beautifully unique place.

The group that donates the furniture and helps out families made me cry. Very cool
The underground city is freaking awesome. Definitely my favorite

The Boeing 727 man, is the most Adventure Time-ish thing that I've seen today
God bless the last story. So much respect for these people.

everyone talks about the floating house but that one with the homeless single mom moving into a beautiful home with her kids was heartwarming
Imagine the plane home with the 2 floor planes now I would want to live in that
Giving those people all that nice pretty furniture was the best 1 to me .God Bless these people that help others .

The last part was great where you provided and filled up empty house to make a home 🏠.
