Honestly i think Arlecchino should have never gotten that first rework, like idk especially her burst feels so wack now, like the animation for her burst in insane and feels powerful, and before her first big rework her burst was a power-up where she would gain bond of life which felt fitting, like a burst with such an insane animation that feels like a power-up should be a power-up imo, but now it’s just a heal and a reset for her elemental skill, like it just feels disappointing :/

This beta was so wild. I've never in the history of genshin, have seen a character go through so many changes in such a short amount of time. This is one of those "you just had to be there" moments for genshin community, up there with the 1st genshin anniversary fiasco

to be honest I am not too happy about the circle impact I am seeing (I don't blame you though or anyone for that matter). I am just done with bennett man I've been playing him for years hahaha. But I guess someone can finally make use of the c6 bennett I have. Of course I have diluc (with xianyun) but it just feels so much better not having to set up rotations again after killing an opponent and the other mobs spawning on the other side of the room (with a xiao team)

There was no Alpha test for Arlecchino. That's the only explanation for her excessive kit changes. Everyone at Hoyo Genshin was probably on a extended CNY vacation.
Same as with Dehya. Can they at least err on the overpower side instead of underpower this time?😂

@@goddamnarshiacrazy how before Sumeru,only female character were op dps which was true for whole v1.x and v2.x and last till v3.6 with the exception of childe. All changed after release of alhaitham.

I’m not gonna lie, her healing is absolutely pitiful.
50% of BoL + 150% of attack means she’s pretty much guaranteed to die over and over in abyss.
Hoyo just screwed her over so damn bad with their stupid “no healing” mechanic on her. Hu Tao STILL OUTDAMAGES HER. And Hu Tao can heal if necessary. Arlecchino not being able to heal, especially on a low hp character, is just bad game design. It’s going to feel bad to play unless they change it. Add more damage resist and healing. She needs to be able to heal like 80% of her hp if she can only do it from her own burst once every 15 seconds. And that should be with low bond not high bond.

I'm kinda worried about how confy will she be to play in overworld. I know in abyss she will be great since on whole rotations she won't struggle to always have infusion.
But in overworld, that 30 seconds CD skill is giving me Childe cooldown PTSD

Double BoL stack never work in game in the first place, since Q clear BoL in previous version as well. it’s only TC from leak description.
So it’s not even a nerf. 70% BoL with higher multiplier vs. 135% BoL with lower mult.
Not sure if I should go for her now. I got myself a Neuvilette and now most Characters I want are Hydro (Siegwienne, Yelan, possibly Emilie) and now I'm just confused. Thank you for clarifying with this video!

Genshin character designer having existential crisis design Arle's kit while Childe, the first snez playable character they don't have much confusion designing his kit. the designer afraid pyro character too good like Hu Tao but also too afraid to make it too bad like Dehya, the pyro curse just getting stronger, see you in Natlan to see the curse erupted.

Where was this attitude when they were designing Neuvilette ? Looking around the community , they've buffed and nerfed her and Redone her entire kit so many times that a lot of people have lost the hype. She was one of the most anticipated characters in the game btw
One would think a character with no IR , unable to heal, small aoe and no shielder in the overload team they seem to be alluding to would have insane damage to compensate for all that.
she literally only kept getting buffs, what are you talking about? and if a character getting changed in BETA makes you lose the hype, then that's entirely on you. you're literally not supposed to be aware of the beta, it's called testing for a reason

@@pasumiya4087 she was at her highest point at v3 , then got massively nerfed , and now buffed to where she was at around v1. She went in a circle and it gives the impression they don't know what the fuck they're doing with her and the last time they didn't know what they wanted with a character we got dehya and launch kokomi (who had to cope with sukukomon, a VERY accidental and very janky team comp until nilou rolled around) . All the nerfs are also extremely unnecessary considering she was never at any point the best 5 star pyro dps anyway but came with MORE restrictions

I kinda liked that the previous version made Bennett not a necessity, guess we back to Bennett Impact boys.
Thank god I ended up not doing pre-release calcs like other characters I liked, despite wanting to. She's probably had more changes to any character they've released so far.

Two things: You forgot the change the "C6 Chev Fav" on the C1 Chevy graph, which briefly confused me.
Second, if you're looking into shielded teams for Arlecchino, how's Layla? I recall there being a double hydro Layla team for Hu Tao that sounds vaguely relevant in this situation. I like Layla's high uptime on TOTM and decent personal damage at C6, so knowing how that measures up to Zhongli would be cool.
Layla forces short rotations, could be a problem, especially for a fragile character like Arle. Probably the only shielders that can work with her are Zhongli and Thoma as their shields last longer.

I was saving and planning to pick up Lyney but now it seems both will be on the same banner cycle and She can also be a Mono-Pyro carry. I hope there is an analysis on that as well once the kit is finalised (if it ever is).

If you haven’t taken a considerable amount of damage by the end of the rotation, would it not be better to skip burst?
Right now , as i can imagine a team for her is Alre-Chev-Thoma-Fischl! Without a shielder it would be very very tricky to play her! A few hit and by you're dead! I can just hope Thoma will be enough to keep her alive(btw his c6 not a bad thing with Alre , +15% normal attack damage to the team while in his shield)
Is it viable to use Dehya as her second Pyro, consolidating Bennett's and Zhongli's roles somewhat? Dehya provides some double pyro utility and some sustain (presumably she still soaks part of Arle's damage, and provides interruption resistance), which could allow for teammates like Kazuha and Yelan more comfortably. I know Dehya is universally known to be Not Great, but I'm wondering if there could be a use case here.
Or would Thoma be the better way to go?

Hey TGS ! What do you think about thundering fury Arlecchino ? from my calculations she should be able to use her E every 9 seconds, gaining more average and absolute BoL. She should even be able to reach 200% in some cases. Is it competitive with her signature set ?

Its a no brainer to make arle the aoe pyro dps and not infringe on hutao's territory , but as we've been seeing WAAAAY too many times for the past two years , top tier and unique dps kits are reserved for male characters while females are lucky to BE anything other than support.

I think at this point, I’m going to be forced to hold off on pulling her until she comes out. She seems too much of a risk to pull now with Genshin clearly not knowing what to do with her. I feel like she will be very broken when she comes out or she will be kind of garbage, but I don’t trust Hoyo with their ability to balance a character

Most ppl are probably going to run Zhongli bc it sounds torturous to not run shield with how fragile she seems. Either that or ppl will ignore the bond reset and just use her burst on cooldown to keep her alive

They rushed her or wasn’t prepared enough. They always use events to test out coming character kits. The BOL mechanic isn’t material enough for players to actually care before. It’s a just a mechanic that people usually neglect since the start of Fontaine. They should’ve made an event where it was the primary gimmick to test it out. Now Arlecchino is having a hard time to balance this new mechanic, they’re having trouble testing it. They should’ve released a 4 ⭐️ character with it or just an event that is BOL-centric. Although I believe Natlan characters will use BOL in their kits as well, Arlecchino will pave the way for Natlan. She’s going to be the sacrificial goat and test subject for Natlan, how the community will perceive it and improve it in Natlan characters. This happened to Yae Miko, her kit only ever matures during the release of Dendro and Sumeru. I guess Arlecchino will still get better in Natlan once her proper supports are out. But again, she will be restricted since she’s the pioneer of BOL and prototype. Of course she’s gonna have issues that isn’t gonna be perceived until released and the newer characters with BOL mechanic will have those issues resolved. Like when Alhaitham, Nahida, and Tighnari have better split scaling than Yae Miko and Ayato. How Yelan and newer characters scale totally on HP and Ayato got the end of the stick by having horrible split scaling. I’m not saying Arlecchino is gonna be worse than future characters but as the pioneer, others are really going to have better usage of BOL

I’m really curious to see how Beidou looks in a Chevreuse team with her. Most people are going to feel the need for some defensive utility for her, I don’t think Yae will be a popular choice for enemies that can be aggressive

She's one of my highest sheeting characters, around Al Haitham level. Honestly don't want to put teams side by side so soon anymore that much because I feel like it can be misleading to say "this is better than y" if the char isn't out anymore, but I kind of assumed ppl who watched my videos before sort of know my numbers

75k dps team is what you could say overkill for 36* abyss, especially if it has aoe. For experienced players, 50k dps is more than enough. 80k+ dps teams are basically almost cheating already.
Ye but that is with 4 star at c0. Fortunately only C1 R1 ol C2 Chara can go beyond 80k rn
70 is above average as 50-60k is the most common dps for most team

I was looking at it and Chevreuse needs to heal the ally for her to stack the %dmg bonus
Dmg wise she got buffed, but throughout all the changes she lost some of her qol and cool things that at some point she had
She's stronger but I personally don't really care about her kit and gameplay anymore sadge
Her animations are still cool though

@@overhaul8416 v2 was my fav version when she had the unfinished charged attack animation where she could hover for a long time while looking like the grim reaper, but that part was just funny, that doesn't bother me really.
I do hate that the cd of the skill is 30s but you can decrease it. Like sure, normally it would end up being a more normal cd like 15s but then what's the point of making it long to decrease it later? All it adds is the inconvenience of having a longer cd that fucks over your rotation and particle generation when you're fighting annoying enemies that move a lot or that you can't hit for other reasons.
Healing being restricted to burst instead of skill is also annoying, especially taking into account that's her only way of healing, it means you can't even end a floor with your skill to both get energy and heal, now if you wanna heal you need to waste burst.
They are just small annoyances that will make her feel worse only in some situations, I acknowledge it's very nitpicky, but considering all the onfielders that exist in the game, it's hard for me to be excited about one that in some situations is gonna feel very bad to play, and even in the situations where she feels good she's nothing special in the first place.
Still considering pulling for her though, since I don't have anything better to do until WuWa comes out.
Can somebody answer my question. Does using her burst while you have a bond of life, the burst will clear your bond of life and heal you? second while you have over 30% bond of life and you switch will the bond of life be cleared and you will lose your pyro infusion?

detract 2s from my vape team and you have the same dps. The assumption is longer rotation time.
