Pierre is giving such a supportive and moving speech, using the Shoah to hook us in, touching on our deepest traumas. I want so badly to believe that he is sincere and he seems to be, but I've lost faith in politicians. I hope Pierre helps retore my faith. What he should have mentioned at the end of his speech when he spoke about Auschwitz, is that Canada has learned something from the abysmal "none is too many" chapter of its history. I truly worry about the future of Canada.
