In one 27 minute interview, Mr. Poilierve demonstrated more empathy for and understanding of Canadians and the issues we are facing than Mr. Trudeau has over the past 8 years. He is in command of the facts and unlike many on the Liberal front bench, he is direct and understandable. As he notes, not everyone will agree with him and his views. But at least we know his position and know he will stay the course. It is refreshing to see a politican who doesn't sidestep questions and has solid, well thought out answers at his fingertips. After 8 years of watching Question Period, I can't remember a single time our Prime Minister actually answered a question directly, even simple ones requiring a Yes or a No.

I will be officially retirement age in 2025, the year of the election if doesn’t happen sooner but I will definitely be voting conservative as I always have for past 45 years. I have contributed to government for all of those 45 years as I have never been unemployed and my best years were when conservatives were in government. I had a young family who I could support with my wage alone plus bought my first 2000 sq ft home and was able to pay it off during the conservative years. That would have never happened today.
