As home secretary she has access to insider police records which could be misused to blackmail or cause damage to anybody in the UK including any MP, official or member of the public. In her position she has access to information that she could leak information that should by law remain private and confidential to some third party in return for a kickback, quid pro quo pro or political favour, and according to what we know about why she was forced to resign, she has knowingly and wilfully done this already twice and apparent has lied about the time and reasons for the leak. She is a lawyer and so she cannot feign ignorance of the law. Liz Truss was absolutely right to be furious about what she did, and it seems to be very clear that she resigned not through any late sign of regret or shred of integrity, but in order to avoid being sacked. It also explains why Liz Truss excluded her from access to departmental functions and meetings after her transgressions. It is evident that Rishi Sunak must be aware that she is a risk to security by virtue of her access to secure Home Office and Police information, and departmental meetings, but it seems he was forced to reinstate her by the kleptocrats in the ERG group which is in control of a number of elected Tory MPs and unelected Tory party members who are controlled by shady Tory donors and answer to them rather than the voters who elected them. 2) Suella Braverman was fired for gross negligence and incompetence in discharging duties relating to national security. Unforgivable offenses especially in matters concerning national security. 1 Week later, she was reinstated and rehired as home secretary by Rishi. What a sham.

National security laws were broken. Knowingly, willfully, she sent documents to someone not cleared to see them.
