Difficult decisions: ripping off the poor. Low Taxes, small state: Cut everything that is needed for the general welfare: Infrastructure, education, health, the environment. Do we really want to have our rivers filled with sewage - just one example. The really difficult decision: raising taxes to invest in the overall well-being of the nation. That won’t happen.

Can't fix the mistakes without accurately defining them, before finding effective solutions. Now we bring in someone who helped fuel the financial crash and seems wedded to austerity.
A government’s primary duty is to the country’s individuals. The economy is second to that. Mr Sunak’s furlough and “ eat out “ scheme saved small businesses, allowed employees to be paid, and helped millions. This led to the financial situation we face today. I would happily pay more tax if it helps my country. Mr Sunak may be wealthy, but with the furlough he has shown that he understands the difficulties ordinary people face. Our country has got over a dreadful pandemic. We have to pick up the pieces and move forward in a considered manner.
The people who vote should be given a voice here. 3 prime ministers and only 1 was voted by the public. I'd like to see an election. But unfortunately I don't see Labour as a trusting party either. It’s pretty simple. Maybe it’s just you who might have struggled through education?
What's more confusing is why you thought a question would start off as "So the Prime Minister was a new Prime Minister after 6 weeks..." As a matter of fact your entire sentence is idiotic & you need to redo your GCSEs.

Couldn't disagree with you more. The potato I had for dinner tonight has more personality and charisma than Sunak ever could dream of having. He's a globalist elite that is going to destroy the UK and bring the British people down with him. If you think things are bad now, you just wait and see when the government, and their WEF backers, are controlling every minutiae of your daily life (e.g., CBDC).

Rishi Sunak shaking the hand of the king of England is such an ironic photo. It took nearly 70 years for UK to get a King and roughly the same time for an Indian descent to rise to the top to lead the country, now that's a coincidence and it all happened in the same year 2022 !!!
With Joe Biden first to congratulate?? The elite are now in place. Get your children ready for war because they'll push for it now.

@ fellow American here. Ur right. I saw a woman on BBC interviewing Truss right after she reversed her tax cuts and she was brutal. But it’s pointless to be a dogged interviewer when ur subject always gives the same programmed answer in a robotic monotone.
Interviewer: “Prime Minister, is it true you had fish and chips for lunch today?”
Lizzie: “I delivered on the energy crisis, dealing with people’s energy bills, but also dealing with the long-term issues we have on energy supply. And I will deliver on the National Health Service.”
Interviewer: “excuse me? I was asking what you had for lunch…”
Lizzie: “The fact is that the abolition of the 45p tax rate became a distraction from the major parts of our growth plan and for that, I’m sorry.”

Lol. The cheek of it.
How can Sunak blame Truss for the economy, when she was in charge for 6 weeks & he ran the economy for 2 years? Up until 3 months ago.
Because it was her mini-budget that tanked the pound and caused the hikes in interest rates and the BoE to step to bail out govt bonds. Even in such a short time she managed to break the record for amount of damage a Tory pm and govt can do to this country and that’s saying something given the shitshow of the last twelve years.
In most cases I would agree with you, but in her short tenure she detonated a bomb-the mini-budget-in an already teetering economy. This was such a ham-fisted attempt to introduce libertarian principles into the economy that everyone everywhere all at once realized she was precisely NOT the right person for the job.
Neither Liz or Sunak understand that the market inevitably leads to extreme levels of wealth concentration.
I agree with you .... and I believe the tounge has no bones and beware of the snake ...

I don't know if it's possible when your focus is your Government and your agenda. It seems that the one missing element in the last several Governments has been including the whole of the Parliaments talents- looking across the aisle- down the street to the people who live in your country. The hope of the country is the people of the country. The success of the people is the success of the Government...unless the desire of the Government is simply to survive.
True, v v true. Although I don't think looking across the street just quite does it in London.

Difficult decisions: ripping off the poor. Low Taxes, small state: Cut everything that is needed for the general welfare: Infrastructure, education, health, the environment. Braverman just resigned because she put security at risk???
How can she come back s few days later????!!!!!
We must save resources for the future of OUR children, said Blair. We saved, he lied!
The people who vote should be given a voice here. 3 prime ministers and only 1 was voted by the public. I'd like to see an election. But unfortunately I don't see Labour as a trusting party either. I think Ricchi will do way better Job than the cabbage that beat him. He told the truth about her plans in the debates and still lost. So I think he is a honest guy. And hopefully will get mortgage payments down. Because no person can afford a Lizz Truss mortgage
@@parvathynayer354 That would be the same furlough reluctantly implemented by Sunak after union campaigning. As for eat out, it was a great way to spread the virus. As for paying back, the main burden falls on the lower earners in proportionate terms. Sunak is a traditional Tory, wedded to austerity and inequality. Let's see how he intends to achieve what is euphemistically called balancing the books.
