  • Rockhounding, prospecting, rock hunting, stone collecting - call it what you will, it all boils down to one thing: getting outside and exploring the great outdoors. And nothing beats rockhounding in the Pacific Northwest, especially in the beautiful state of Oregon. It's a passion of mine to hunt for unique stones and bring them to life through crafting. There's something truly special about uncovering the beauty of newly discovered materials and turning them into works of art, jewelry, and other crafts. From agates to jasper, sagenite to crystals, quartz to opal, and even petrified wood, Oregon offers a wealth of minerals to collect. So, let's get outdoors, hunt some rocks, and create something beautiful together.

You and Rogue are definitely some outdoor wildmen battling the Oregon alligators, mosquitoes that I'm sure where the size of small birds and the ubiquitous poison oak! Your efforts really paid off though with beautiful rocks to bring home. Thank you so much for filming it all for us!❤❤❤😊😊😊

Just lookee at all those aggies & jasper that want to go home and be enjoyed by many more people than some deer out in the bush. AND for those who dont know...S Oregon comes with Poison Oak!.

I had to watch the cutting part of the video.twice. it was very satisfying listening to the music with all the different camera angles. Each rock you cut seemed to get better and better. The sagenite one was excellent. The one after I knew would be cool but really looked awesome. Holy smokes, the one at the end was wicked! I really liked all the footage while you guys were rockhounding and exploring. I'm highly allergic to poison ivy and oak. There is a product called Tecnu that has a skin cleanser scrub that gets the oils off your skin. It works awesome, and it's good to have on hand after going in the woods. I hate having to always wear pants and boots and not be able to go wherever I want when hiking. Thanks for sharing your video. I'd really like to see some rocks you tumble, too, sometime. Great video, Quest!

I'm stoked you enjoyed the adventure. It's fun to explore new areas and we really pushed ourselves that day. I did not escape the poison oak! Luckily, it was only a small couple of spots on one arm and it healed up quickly. The tumbled stones would be done sooner but I've been traveling. I'm running a batch of zinc creek material so we can check that out soon. Catch you later, peace.
