I love dill pickles, but dislike sweet ones. We do love our weird festivals. Huntley, IL hosts a yearly Turkey Testicle Festival on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, so it’s happening in just a few days. I’ve been to that one more than a few times. BTW, they’re like tiny chicken nuggets.

There’s a lot of different types of food festivals in the USA. Like garlic and bacon and head cheese etc. the easiest way to start eating pickles is starting with sweet pickles like bread and butter pickles but most people don’t like pickles because of the vinegar in the pickling juice I started eating pickles by eating refrigerator pickles which is herby and a little bit more sweet then the normal pickle and then I just loved pickles. But pickling has a long history and can also be pickled lemon to pickled meats so not just cucumbers.
My all time favorite is watermelon pickles using watermelon rind with a tangy sweet juice. It's a good way to turn the bitter rind into a tasty treat that would otherwise be fed to the pigs or composted.

My favorite Pizza is Pork Sausage, Pickles and Pineapple. Has a sweet and sour taste.
